Heres the deal... the people running the resort are FANTASTIC. They were up and about as early as 4am on their 6 person golf cart, and there through the heat of the afternoon.... safety is important. The resort I guess is in the eye of he beholder. That said, as we drove around and saw other RV sites (resorts) I quickly learned that they are all similar in that its desert style resort. We are from the mountainous-mind....where grass grows without rain, and trees shad the ground all around. So for us, this was as new experience. IF you are to trek to Mesa and the given area, then for sure this RV Park is a great stop. Grocery literally across the street, Freeway access close (but not too close), and the amenities of a small and usable pool, shuffle board, horseshoes, pickle ball court, and humorously small dog park.... it should really be called a dog area (again, desert style in all gravel/rock.... but one tree). Sites are nicely laid out with plenty of back-in space for the unit plus parking along side (which is nice). If I had to visit Mesa again, I would certainly consider choosing the same spot again. Probably the main reason is the folks managing the place were SUPER friendly. Its all about the people. I just cant give it 5 stars because Mesa and the entire valley are just too hot to visit for me.

We stayed 3 months here and loved it. Very family friendly, and they work hard to make sure your stay is comfortable. Club house, pool, and laundry facilities are kept in great condition. Staff is friendly and family oriented- they strive to include everyone. They have renovations coming soon that we were sad to miss out on but due to work had to move out of state. We will be back though! Highly recommend!

My husband and I are very happy with this campground. Angel the manager is great, she keeps this camp ground very clean and safe. Best RV resort around.

This is one of the most accommodating RV resorts in Mesa! Owner/management are wonderful to work with.

Very friendly management. Also having a Frys store across the street is a plus for easy convenience. This location is also close to the salt River canyon float.

Spent 1 night here to get things set up in my new RV. Lovely staff, Chris was helpful with getting me backed in/setup and in the morning, helping me disconnect and pull out without hitting the car next to me (not that the sites are small, its just my first time driving a Class C RV). Clean, quiet, looks like they are taking the off season summer to do some work on the clubhouse/pool. Close to Frys (grocery), CVS, Subway, Little Cesares, gas, Jack in the Box - all walkable.

Greedy Company with horrible policies!! Made a reservation 6months+ in advance for a months stay. Called the next day (less than 24 hours from making reservation) to cancel the reservation and was told I could only receive camp credit that was good for one year. Now Im out $180 unless because I refuse to stay here or any Campspot properties in the future. Horrible customer service and policy.

Let me first say that you will read disgruntled reviews from a handful. The only time anyone has been angry when they leave is eviction from non payment of rent or drugs. I’ve been here three years and this park has gone through dramatic changes. All for the good. We have new owners who are starting to make many upgrades and no pain no gain. The park is clean, the staff friendly, and maintenance is there the minute any problem arises. I highly recommend this park to all inquiring.

THIEVES! We had a reservation for a one-month stay at this resort during 2020. Months before our reservation window, we decided to cancel due to rising COVID concerns in the Phoenix area. We were told we would get our $200 deposit returned (like other resorts were doing during the COVID era), but we never saw a dime. This is an unscrupulous company with greedy financial policies and behaviors. STAY AWAY!

Manager Angelique was helpful when checking in and friendly. Paul got us to our site with no problems, best directions . Only thing was some residents let their dogs go on sites and dog runs without picking up waste, even though it was clearly posted through out resort otherwise Five stars.

Since this camp sold it became a nightmare to live in peace & is under new ownership ,sold a couple months ago & is not as clean as previous management.The previous managers left and the new management are lyers and very rude. My advice is to find a different camp and not rent here.And the cleanup guy Paul stalks single women he stalked one single mom so bad with a little girl she had to move to get away from him.She couldnt even go to the pool in peace without him stalking her.She was never left in peace with Paul.Never been so happy to be away from these managers and this Corporation that owns this camp.Just a horrible experience since new buyers.

Such an awesome place, especially given how inexpensive it was ($550/mo). All ages and pets welcome. Only $10/mo/dog.We spent the 2 months of stay at home AZ order at this RV park and it was probably the best place we could be during this time. They have a beautiful new pickle ball court, pool, hot tub, horseshoes, bean bag toss, a community fire pit, a fitness center, and a big clubhouse with wifi, AC, and plenty of electrical outlets. I worked there every day which was great given libraries and cafes were all closed down. We met lots of wonderful people and made some good friends :)The 2 dog runs are long and narrow and smell like pee, but they are always well stocked with plastic bags. Its a big park surrounded by neighborhoods and there are some great dog parks just a 15min drive away. I made use of the dog washing station a few times which was really convenient.The laundry room has 6 washers and 8 dryers; all were very good machines and everything was kept very clean.Park is bordered by a nice grocery store (Frys), CVS, and a bowling alley. Its located about equi-distant from Phoenix and the mountains. Beautiful Sedona is 2.5hr drive away.Employees were wonderful and extremely courteous. They did a great job of ensuring respectful use of facilities and did so in a very polite way. They were always cleaning and sanitizing. They took lots of precautions in light of the pandemic, but we were still able to enjoy all the activities and amenities.If we come back around this way, we will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!!

My experience on Mesa sunset was a very pleasant one until I came across the on-site “ Paul” Who has a vendetta against everyone on the park it seems I was using the restroom very meekly and respectfully visiting a relative one evening 3/10/21 this gentleman shouts and screams at me you’re vaping in the bathroom well I was using the urinal and indisposed I had a Vape in my hand I am 27 years old I do not have to hide where I would be vaping I do not Vape in bathrooms I Vape outdoors or in my own privacy of my home or vehicle this guy let’s screams out of him and kick me out of the facilities I do not know with any other children has done on this park or what he’s been doing in the bathrooms but I found it very out of wine and out of order his superiors needs to get a hold of him and tell him to get a hold of his power check come down off his high horse and come back down to earth with the rest of us I hope management fixes this problem before somebody takes it out on him

This is a clean park, however stray cats are common & a ton of pet owners are either lazy or just inconsiderate letting their furry friends do their business wherever they want & leaving it. Please dont mistake my 4 star rating for anything other than constructive criticism.

I’ve stayed at this park from time to time throughout the years and have always enjoyed the convenience of the location but upon returning this year I was surprised to find out that the park is under new ownership and new management. I must say that I am completely blown away by the remarkable job that the new owners/managers are doing. It looks like a brand new park. New clubhouse, new roads, new fitness centers, new amenities, new landscaping, new atmosphere, and lots of friendly new people. I highly recommend this park. Good things are happening at Mesa Sunset 🌵🌄

So confused the office hours posted on the door open till 5 but they close at 4 the gym hours posted in gym 6 to 9 but my key doesnt work so its open 9to4 like the office. Why so many lies?

Dirty , needs new ownership.

My wife and I are senior citizen snowbirds. We have been coming to Mesa RV Resort for many years. This year we are especially excited to return because the entire place has been totally redone, renovated, and upgraded. Everything is so spotless and new. Mesa RV Resort is in such a great location. Close to 100’s of great golf courses, malls, grocery stores, and the beautiful desert landscape. The other couples that snowbird here are all so friendly. It’s like one big family and we couldn’t be happier.

We spent the weekend here with two other families in their RVs for a local soccer tournament. This park is just about 10 minutes from Red Mountain Soccer Complex and Quail Run fields. The Park is under new ownership, and they are doing a wonderful job remodeling the place. We stayed at the front of the park, and it was great!! Everyone we met from making reservations, to check-in and all during our stay was professional, helpful, and accommodating. Our last soccer game ended in the early afternoon and there was no hassle (or extra fees) for a later check-out.*Only gave four stars because they do have some work to do on the back of the park. I have every confidence that when we return in the spring, they will more than earn five stars!! ⭐️

Was an okay place to stay. We stayed for a month. No real amenities. You pay for your own electric, and if you want to stay longer than a month you need to hand over your first born in paperwork you need to fill out. Not bad, but not alot offered for the money. Also be prepared to hear loud music playing all hours of the night. I wanted to give a better review. They even tried to tell us our stay was over before the final 3 days. We paid for the month up front. We ended up leaving early anyway, and someone plugged into our electric which we had to pay for.

Very clean and nice place to live or visit. Prices are reasonable and the facility is nice. Love the people that manage the park and the maintenance guys are very nice and always working hard! Nothing negative about this place, it is very well kept and managed.

First class amenities. Friendly neighborhood. Close to the main roads so easy access to highways. New owners have really cleaned the place up. Highly recommend

Can’t say enough about this park. Was always in a great location but ever since the new management team took over it’s like a whole new park. The amenities are top notch and the renovations have taken this place to the next level.
