The recreational side of this league has completely gone downhill the last year or so. When we first started, it was a well organized league at a great price. Last fall they jacked up the price to include weekly professional coach practices. Fine. Well this season Monday practices have been cancelled more than they have been on. All we are told is you can attend another night. Well, that doesnt work if you have multiple activities going on. A certain night was chosen for a reason. So I am beginning to wonder what my extra money actually paid for this season. We were also stuck with very short teams this season with like 5 players. Makes it hard to play a full game if not everyone shows up. If I were you, I would look for a different recreational soccer league.I want to add that Jack who helps run the recreational side is phenomenal. The fault honestly lies with the entire league owner whose apparent focus is in the club side and not the recreational side.

This is more of a recreational club. We were with one of their boys competitive teams for three years but the club was more interested in accepting as many kids as they can ($) than creating truly competitive teams. The club director, Mike Miller, is definitely a used car salesman. He talks a great game. He was too involved with how our team/coach ran. He initially agreed to let our coach run two teams and move players from the A team to the B team and vice versa to create competition. After tryouts, all parents/players were briefed on how the two teams would be run and no one disagreed. A month or two into the season, three A team kids complained that our coach was moving them to the B team. One of the kids was the son of the director of coaching. The next day or two, our coach was told he could no longer move anyone or raise his voice to make corrections in practice because raising your voice in practice or games and/or telling players they are being moved to the B team because they arent playing to the coachs standard is bullying. That killed much of the competition for playing time. Miller eventually fired our coach and the Director of Coaching took over...making his son a starter again... Miller waited until immediately after the transfer deadline to fire our coach because he didnt want the whole team to leave. Miller also increased the cost of the annual fee by $100, in the middle of the season, and gave less than a week to pay. The increase was because he decided to force all the club players to use his indoor soccer facility for training. The team atmosphere was excellent with coach Manny Arias, but after he was fired the team and clubs deficiencies were obvious. We were happy to leave after the season.
