I came to Dr Harris After 2 years of chronic pain in my right shoulder, mid back and hip. After a short assessment he told me the problem was coming from my SI joint and suggested a cocktail of medications and injections. The first injection did very little to help my pain, and the second injection was horrific. After leaving the office I was in excruciating pain and I could not breath And had to call my husband to drive me home. But my chief concern is this, Dr. Harris would rush me out of his office saying the same thing every time: “your young and healthy keep doing what you are doing you’ll be fine” I am shocked this guy is still seeing patients!

Dr. Harris is a true GEM!! Every appointment I’ve ever had with him has been a positive one. He listens, he thinks outside the box to try and help alleviate as much of my pain as possible, which isn’t an easy task, having multiple spinal conditions & other medical issues. His MA is the only reason I’m not rating 5 stars. His prior MA was fantastic & I know I’m not the only one who misses her. The rest of the staff members are really great to work with. I drive about 45 minutes to see Dr. Harris and while the spinal injections haven’t worked for me personally, I feel confident that Doc is doing his very best to help reduce my pain.

I have been seeing Dr Harris for the last 6 years after a back surgery that left me with chronic leg and back pain that was performed by another surgeon . That other surgeon would not take blame nore listen to me. Dr Harris took the time to diagnose my issues and listen to my concerns that will affect me for the remainder of my life. He is by far the best Dr. I have ever had the pleasure to be around! Thank you! And his Staff!

Five stars for Dr. Harris, and entire office staff. I have spinal cord damage, and have been to multiple pain physicians in the past 10 years since my injury. Dr. Harris is by far the best I have seen. He listened to me, and never made me feel rushed. His kindness, and compassion surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Harris, and outstanding staff for making my visit a positive one.A very grateful patient,Jane Tucker

Saw this doctor for hand and arm pain. He hardly even looked at my hand or seemed concerned. Gave me a cortisone shot, but according to my pain specialist hit a nerve causing more pain then I already had. He then insisted on more cortisone because he ran out of tools. Im thinking if someone has pain and cant take pain meds, is cortisone and Gabapentin all the medical community has to offer? 8-10 years of education doesnt seem to go very far these days. My issue was partially resolved by another doctor out of state, but this doctor doesnt seem to eager to help his patients, but rather tries to slap a band-aid on it and call it good. Every time I saw him, it was the same thing, same questions, etc.. I felt like just another number to this doctor. Would not recommend.

Referred to Dr. Harris when my pain specialist of several years retired. Dr. Harris has a different style of care than I am used to. He avoids all off-label use of medications, and much of my medications have been off label. I feel disrespected by the doctor. I have a doctorate of my own - I do not appreciate being treated like an idiot. One week ago I began having seizures, landing me in the hospital. Dr. Harris has not responded. I dont know what to do. Tomorrow I will search for a new pain specialist.

I have never felt so unimportant.I’m 23 and I’ve been having migraines for 12 years now. I went through treatment after treatment after treatment until I was referred to Dr. Mark Harris. Within 10 minutes of meeting me he had a diagnosis (first one ever) and I thought I was FINALLY on my way to a pain free life.... Yeah right.I saw him a total of I don’t know.. 5 times. Tried medications, physical therapy and an occipital nerve block injection. After none of those were successful I kind of lost hope and went a couple months without seeing him. I recently found out my insurance will be up this month so I made an appointment with him to touch base one more time until I got new insurance.I sat there, crying and embarrassed telling him I got suspended from my job today because of abscenses due to my migraines. I also explained that I won’t have insurance any longer. I mentioned pain meds seeing that I’ve never been given anything to ease my pain in all of these years of misery. This man referred me to a neurologist (something I tried before I met Dr. Harris) and told me to continue care with them and my primary doc. Acted like he didn’t even hear me when I asked for pain management. Walked me out, while I was crying, shook my hand and told me “good luck.”Also, his MA is horrrrrrible. Don’t expect any calls back or for her to make the calls she’s supposed to make according to your care plan.

Dr.Harris isnt the best pain Dr out there. He hasnt resolved any of my pain issues, let alone give me medication that helps. I have to travel a ways to see him and its the same thing every month, same questions, no answers. Why ask me if youre not going to believe me or do anything about it. He never returns phone calls. Hes of no help whatsoever. Dont waste your time, energy, or money going to see him, youll get nowhere with this dr. Im looking for a new dr, as of now. I took x-rays and he said hed call as soon as he looked at them, which would take to the end of the day, at the latest the next day. Im still waiting for that call, and its been a week and a half.

Dr. Harris listens to all my concerns. He examined me and knew about a condition I had never heard of, I was relieved to know I wasnt imagining my pain and numbness. Dr. Harris is a cut to the chase kind of doctor, which is refreshing.

When I first started seeing doctor Harris I thought finally a doctor who believes me and knows what pain I am going through he then talked me into injections saying they had a 98% success rate two days after the injections there was a big pop in my back cause worsening severe pain call dads office got a on call doctor Who okayed it for me to double my pain medication went back to see him for this new worsening problem after injections were no go and did not work and were not a 98% success rate he finally did another MRI and found out that my herniated disc had been broke and that was what was the cause of the big pop in the worst meaning of the severe pain referred me to see a spine surgeon who confirmed that if I did not have the injections my desk would not have broke like that and I would not be happy to have my first back surgery at age 32 went back to see dr. Harris to let him know I was having back surgery and to remind him that he said that before back surgery he was going to up my pain medication in which she refused to do saying that he thinks once I have back surgery it will then be at 98% success rate and I will no longer be in pain and he thinks 3 Norco tens a day will be good enough for pain after surgery he is not as good of a doctor is I thought he was and Im looking into getting an attorney I would not refer him to my worst enemy
