From the initial phone call to make the appointment to the day of my appointment, the service was amazing. His staff was so kind and helpful. Dr. Bates listened to me intently and really tried to understand my needs. He let me talk without interrupting and acted like he had all the time in the world to just be there for me. I didnt want a provider that would give me a pain pill--I wanted to get better through different modalities. His knowledge base was astounding and he was able to explain things very clearly. If you want someone who is well versed in many different treatment options then see Dr. Bates! If youre expecting narcotics, dont waste yours or his time! You owe it to yourself to explore many options and Dr. Bates is the one to give you those options.

The care Ive received from Dr. Bates is unparalleled in the Treasure Valley and provided the very outcomes I had hoped. I was seeking physical, hands-on treatment and rehabilitation for rib, back, neck and hip pain as a result from a variety of past sports-related injuries that were growing increasingly uncomfortable. Dr. Bates performed a thorough assessment of my symptoms and systems and designed a comprehensive treatment plan for each issue, which he explained to me in terms I could understand and discuss with him. He then used manual therapy to correct each fascial distortion and herniated trigger point. In addition, Dr. Bates referred me for physical therapy with particular specialists in the valley to fulfill my rehabilitation goals. I couldnt recommend a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician more highly than Dr. Bates.

This independent physician Unhooked my back and neck from workmens comp when it was clear the accident aggravated previous existing condition. Poor documentation. He pushes medications - opiods to keep his patient base.
