To the wonderful people who helped my dad....I am so sorry it has taken me so long to write this review. When my dad entered Sea Pines, he couldnt walk, or dress himself. He was just overall weak from his almost 2 month hospital stay due to severe Kidney and Heart Failure. How he is still alive is a miracle. Even during covid, I cant tell you how thankful the family was that one person could visit during one of 2 time slots a day. When my dad went in...one of his biggest fears was being left alone. Though they kept my dad safe, the realized that mental and emotional health is all connected to physical health and made this wonderful provision. While there the worked him out every day but my dad said they were always very cognizant of how he was feeling. He loved the food. By the time he left, with a month, he could walk, get out of bed on his own and dress himself. My parents home has 4 steps to get in and when we took him home he walked up those stairs by himself. We all had tears in our eyes. You should see him now...it is amazing. I credit a lot of people to saving his life. Rockledge Hospital, Holmes Regional and Sea Pines. Thank you just isnt enough.

The Staff is great, Professional, Caring, but, I am concerned, my wife is deaf, and they still talk to the back of her head. The Therapist was yelling like you do to a hard of hearing person, I need you to do ..... then getting frustrated because my wife was not doing .... . When I got there, I told her My wife is deaf. Then she came to the front of my wife and yelled at her there. So, I took my mask off, and sign to my wife what the Therapist wanted her to do, my wife did that. Five minutes later the Therapist was doing the same thing, I tried talking about it. I dont know how else to explain to her without hurting her feelings. The wearing of Masks hurt the Deaf people who rely on reading lips to communicate, and we are not sure of what to do.I love the Staff at Sea Pines. This is only my first day there, second day for my wife. We have no complaints at all, it is just different when dealing with the Deaf.UPDATE: I love this place! The measures they went to to accommodate my wife was above and beyond my greatest expectations! My wife loves the Staff, (ALL of them!) she had to leave by ambulance, unfortunately, we wanted to give them all something to show our thanks and appreciation.

Grandmother was in for rehabilitation for a traumatic brain injury. She was under a strict no movement without assistance order due to the chance of her falling. On multiple occasions, she used her call button to ask for help to use the restroom and was flatly ignored. In one case, for over 95 minutes. This led to an accident and her trying to go to the bathroom on her own. When her bed alarm went off, the staff came in upset that she got out of bed. Additionally, at her therapy session, her therapist sat her down and walked around to other staff members instead of working with my Grandmother. After 3 short days, my family elected to pull her from Sea Pines, although she is once again in the hospital. This facility should be investigated by the state and shut down in the interim for the safety and health of the patients they service.

While their services and nursing care appear to be very high quality, they are not family friendly. Only one visitor at a time, no matterwhat. I traveled 1200 miles to see my brother after 14 months and I am sitting in the lobby so my sister-in-law can visit with her husband. Appalling!

Fantastic facility and staff, all the way around! My mom had a lousy experience at Titusville Rehab. Thankfully we got her transferred to Sea Pines and the experience was like night and day! Every single staff person was wonderful to her. They provided excellent one-on-one therapy for her (not like the group therapy experience my parents have dealt with in the past at other facilities). When my mom thought she was ready to come home the staff contacted me and clearly communicated what she was doing great at and where she may need some assistance. That information was 100% accurate.I was able to visit and observer her in physical therapy and occupational therapy to see exactly how she was doing and both therapists (Rick & Kyle) provided excellent information and made sure she could safely get into the car before sending her home.It was *very* worth the drive from Titusville down to Melbourne!!!

Nursing staff could be the worst in the state! Can’t understand how this place has stayed open. Rehab side is excellent, however, the patient that resides there only spends a short time at rehab and the rest of the time they are treated like bad children. The place should NOT be allowed any brain or head injury victims. People wouldn’t believe the treatment that patients are subjected to if they can’t fend for themselves. If you have good CNA’s depend on them to keep you informed. If you complain they may retaliate against your loved one. Don’t be surprised if you try to move your loved one to another facility and find the move blocked by Sea Pines. Don’t mistake being close to being good. If you do subject a loved one to this place, have family check in at all hours, even though you must call the guards at night to get into the facility it insures that your loved one will be cleaned/changed as you are going in to the facility. You quickly learn that as soon as you arrive they start to clean the patient. Another thing to know....if the patient is unable to communicate they can and will do things that you could never believe. It is hard for anyone to comprehend how horribly someone can be treated in this place. Take pictures, and keep a log since you might need it for an attorney.

The staff here are wonderful. The biggest issue I had was when my father stayed here he got C-diff and they did not tell me, my family, or him what he had. This made me very angry, I found out once they transferred him. His great granddaughter which was 5 years old and his granddaughter which was pregnant was allowed in to see him NOT KNOWING WHAT HE HAD!!!!! They told us you should be fine!!!! I will never put any of my family in this place again.

My mother was a patient, after an extensive stroke. Foremost the Nursing staff should recieve an A++. Care, concern, honesty and knowledge. The night supervisors January 2019 performed well to manage and ensure care was delivered. We, the USA have a national shortage of nurses. Sea Pines did well. In 22 days I noticed a shortage twice. Care was provided appropriately with a smile and never rushed.Every facility has issues. Sea Pines does well to keep it away from patient care delivery. The rehab therapy team are tough caring professionals.Admin,Thank you for you care, and emotional support.Raymond III

This facility met my expectations and more. I owe my life to the quick thinking of staff members. The food is good, and therapy sessions are challenging and healing. I was prepared to go home after two weeks. I have had experiences with other facilities, but now I will not go anywhere else.

Just what I needed! I was in a bad motorcycle accident. My left leg from the hip down suffered multiple breaks and fractures. The staff at Sea Pines was able to help me from being bedridden to being able to bathe myself, hop with a Walker, get into my truck, and so much more, confidently - within a week!! Jenivive and Ken were my main therapists. They really are rockstars! The nursing staff was very attentive and caring. The wound care specialist Notany was outstanding! Dr. Lebron and his team are excellent. If youre in need of post traumatic therapy, this is best place in Brevard county!

I have been a patient at this facility (off and on) for 8+ years, both inpatient and outpatient. The staff here has been tremendous, on countless occasions. The managers and charge nurses have stepped in to assist with my care at all costs. As someone afflicted with quadriplegia, I need assistance with all daily activities including; feeding, bathing, transferring, brushing my teeth etc...total care!! I recall an occasion when the floor was short staffed and thus the CFO fed me lunch!! I was in such awe and overcome with tremendous appreciation. It is truly a team effort. The outpatient therapists are all phenomenal and entirely dedicated to their profession. I cannot begin to list the countless ways they support people in our community. Laura, the director of Outpatient Therapy has personally been an integral component to my continued rehabilitation. Laura was instrumental in my acquisition of much of my medical equipment, along with providing hands on therapeutic care. I learned today that the outpatient portion of this facility will be closing, due to insurance retribution cuts. As the outpatient portion of SeaPines prepares for closing, I would love to add how thankful I am for all the efforts and care I have received for 8+ years in both outpatient and inpatient services.

My mother was in a horrific car accident in which she broke her back. After 2 spinal fusions we took my mother to Sea Pines for rehab. The nursing staff was rude & didn’t tend to my mothers needs in a timely manner. My mother text me at 5am in the morning begging me to get her out of the facility because for the second day in a row they left her to sit in her own feces for multiple hours. If you care about your family member as I do then avoid this place at all costs. They charge the insurance companies astronomical rates & provide low level service. Never again!

Receptionist barely looks up much less acknowledge us upon checking in to visit our dear papa. Once past the main entrance there are no automatic doors making it difficult for the disabled to go visit family . The door past reception is hard to open and the receptionist could care less. Facility has many many noticable empty rooms yet they put my colonel father in law with another patient who is struggling..its so very very very uncomfortable for all. All l can say is at this point Im rather disgusted with the place.

This place here is something else!! If I could not give a star and leave a review I would! My family and I had THE WORST experience there that made us look at rehabs in a whole different way!!! They left my wife in her own urine for 20 mins! And yo u know what comes behind that! Then on top of that they left her neighbor she had to be every bit of 55 on her bed pan for 30 mins! They served her warm water because they had a boil water alert! But why accept new patients then!!?? I just wouldnt recommend this place to my WORST ENEMY! Oh and I did call the state!!

I would give sea pines and their doctor Dr. Juan Lebron MD ZERO stars if there was an option. When I visited sea pines for a tour, the administrators assured me that they accept patients that cant walk and cant move. I was thinking to myself well of course they would accept patients like that, its their job to work with them to help the get better. When we applied for sea pines the patient was denied twice because she couldnt walk and couldnt handle thearpy°?! Dr. Juan Lebron made a decison off of thearpy notes (therapist in the hospital that barely came to see the patient) and denied her two times without even coming into the hospital to evaluate the patient. How do you denie someone because they cant walk? They are extremely discriminative. Dr. Lebron wants to work with patients that can walk and do things for themselves so he and his staff at sea pines can sit on their bottoms all day long and not work. There is absolutely no hope for you to go to sea pines of you cant walk so dont even bother trying. Even staff at the hospital told me verbally that sea pines just wants to admit younger people who can do things on their own because they are lazy! Who would want their loved ones going to a place where no one wants to work? I know i wouldnt! Dr. Lebron should get some better education or go back to school for some extra training. When people cant walk and they need help just help them instead of discouraging them!!! This doctor is a monster in my eyes!
