I absolutely love this place! I’m the definition of a helicopter mom, and I can be pretty over protective of my baby boy! Ms. Nicole takes wonderful care of my son, and not only ensures that he is always safe and loved, but he is learning so much as well! I definitely recommend this cute little school!

My wife and I are very satisfied and happy that we found this day care for our daughter. They came highly recommended from two of our friends. All the staff is great, and they provide personalized care to every child. This was the first time our daughter started going to a full-time daycare, and due to the excellent care provided by Heather, Nikki, Lexie, and Emma, my daughter was feeling at home within the first week. For the first two weeks, Heather also kept us updated by texting photos of the kiddo throughout the day. They do so many fun and educational activities all day to keep the kids entertained and busy. If youre looking for a quality daycare facility for your child, I wholeheartedly recommend this daycare.

From day one my son and I loved this place. All the teachers are so patient, kind and welcoming. Before I put my son in home away from home his vocabulary wasn’t that great but after going there for a month, his vocabulary has expanded so much. He is constantly singing and counting and starting to make sentences. I am so grateful for this place and truly dont know what I would do without them

I would like to make a re-buddle against a review that was left on here. Not once were we ever offered gift cards to leave a review of the daycare, if we were I was not included in on that and I still left a 5 star review. I have never once second guessed my decision to place my daughter in this facility and as a mother and a nurse I am very particular on who keeps my child and she is in great hands and I do not worry once from the time I drop her off until the time I pick her up about the care she is receiving. I am very saddened by one of the reviews on here because it is very false. My child is always happy when I drop her off and when I pick her up and that to me is worth every penny that I pay this daycare. Also If you read any daycare contract your child can be let go for any reason with little to no notice so Home away form Home is no different. I would put my child in this facility a million times over. So to each their own but if you want someone who cares about your child like they are their own, teaches them, and comforts them this is your place.Very sincerely,an unpaid mother leaving an honest reviewJennifer

I give this daycare 5 stars. I have only seen the owner and staff strive to give quality childcare when I dropped off and picked up. My daughter was always happy and safe.Former parent 2014

I had my daughter at this daycare for two years. My daughter learned and grew so much because of the wonderful staff and teacher. The owner and teachers welcomed my daughter with loving and caring arms everytime I dropped her off. They also worked with me in case I couldnt pick her up on time and also worked with me on payments. They helped my daughter prepare for kindergarten. I love this place and would not hesitate to utilize their services again.

I took my son to this daycare in 2012 when it was on Elling st, and I remember the owner Nikki did something most licensed daycare owners will not do. She told me her own son had pushed my son down, and she was looking to place her own son in another daycare because he was being mean to the other kids. She had to actually kick out her son for the same reason, to keep other kids safe. This is true, and says so much about Nikki as a daycare provider.Amy

My son loved coming to daycare, we would of never left but we had to move away. We still keep in touch with Nicky & Heather they are great girls!!

I would recommend to anyone. My daughter loves it here. They do learning activities, naps and home cooked meals

Absolutely love the structure of this daycare, my 2 year old is singing her alphabet and about 15 different songs, counting to twenty, spelling her name, and her vocabulary is endless. Without the care and patience of HAFHs providers she would not be this advanced . If you are looking for a learning structered daycare that also incorporates play and lots of love check out Home Away From home you wont be disappointed!!!!

My son went to this daycare for a few months he absolutely loved it! He has some speech delays and some sensory issues so he does get a little excited at times my son is 2 and he is a very big boy some think he is 4 but he is only 2! I gave this daycare 5 stars at one point and let me make sure I say this correctly because last time I worded it wrong! I normally don’t do google reviews but I did for Nicole the owner because she sent us a msg saying if we did a review we would b ina drawing to win a gift card for $50 so she wanted good reviews! Well let me tell u about this lady not only did she give me no notice that my kid couldn’t come back to her daycare but when of course I got mad about it because I had 2 hours before I had to be at work she then blew up my phone talking about oh let me help u find a daycare and then It changed! Anyway I could go on and on about the 30+ txt she sent me it got so bad I had to block her then as my right I made a review about how she did things and how unprofessional it was and she sent me more msg threw someone else’s phone bullying me and demanding I remove my post and I didn’t feel like I had to that is what a google review is there for right! Nicole also made a post on my fb page a very long one just going on and on how I was so hateful for making a review idk what she was thinking it was my fb with my friends and family that love me and my son and seen how unstable she is by all of the msg and fb post. I didn’t remove the review at first but then I did because my son was going to benefit from me removing it and I would do anything for my kid!!! He had a babysitter at night that also worked at daycare and Nicole said she couldn’t work at daycare and babysitte for My son if I didn’t take it down and she was amazing with my son and he loved her very much! But anyways she has all of these people talking about how great she is and she does have good reviews but I bet u have never made her mad before. More point is this woman is very unstable and really shouldn’t b around children if I new she was like this I would have never taking my son there! I kept all the txt and post was copied and I sent them in to the better business bureau! I do kinda feel bad for doing so but really after thinking about it and showing the txt and post to some nurse s that I work with we agreed she shouldn’t b around children!!!

My daughter loves her school, almost as much as I do! The way they treat her is inline with my values and I couldnt ask for a better place to send my daughter. She loves going to school to see Heather and friends. Yes, she learns a lot there, but whats more important to me is how they treat and care for the children. Leaving LJ with Heather is like leaving her with family. LJ loves her and the owner, Ms. Nikki, so much (and they lover her too). We have a really good working relationship for raising LJ and Ill be really sad when its time to move on.
