I have never had a worse SNS manicure. The tech was very nice but rushed through it and kept making mistakes and not taking the time to fix them, which resulted in my nails turning out extremely uneven and looking terrible.They did offer to fix it but I unfortunately did not have time and, to be honest, did not trust them to fix them. They did not offer a refund or coupon or anything, which I expected but I feel a bit cheated.The polish also started cracking about an hour after leaving (see second picture). The tech did not use a light to dry my top coat and I wonder if the cracking is because of this.

Came here to get my nails done for my birthday. Very disappointed. First I asked how much for full set…They never give you a price… Then asked price for ombré and was told $58. Too expensive so I requested a full set with polished tips. The tech said I can’t get that I knew that was a lie I get acrylic nails with tips all the time. He did want he wanted and I didn’t say one word because I told him what I wanted. A very messy job and I didn’t want to act out of character. My experience was awful! When a customer say what they want they are paying their hard earned money—-Don’t do what you want for them!!! I have nails that still have hard glue like substance under some of the nails. My pinky nails aren’t applied correctly (looks crooked) and the thumbs isn’t ombré …I just don’t know why we as a community support these type businesses.No clear English and add-on things you didn’t ask for. No CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL!! Highly HIGHLY UPSET!!

This was my first time getting my nails done here and getting ombre. I love my nails they are so pretty. Only thing,he was a little ruff filing them. Other than that I will be returning for future services.

I went in for a pedicure with my friend, the guy who did my nails cut them so short and to the nail bed they were also very uneven, he didn’t file the nail or really clean the cuticle, didn’t clean under the nail, then the polish was all over my toes. Completely rushed job. He did my pedicure faster than the people sitting next to me who got started about 10 min before. Most awful experience of my life in a nail salon.

Very fast and no wait if you are in a hurry; however, if you, like me, want a thorough and relaxing pedi, this may not be the place for you. This was my first time and I probably won’t visit again.That makes me sad because it’s a cute place with friendly employees. My technician was way too rushed, and she seemed more interested in pushing extra services than giving me a relaxing experience.

Amber did a great job! She took the extra time to make my French Gel manicure look amazing! We also had a great chat about movies and travel! Im visiting from our of town but next time Im in Macon, Ill come here for sure! 💜

Bill fixed two nails two weeks ago. They are ask shiny and havent chipped, at first they acted like they did not want to service me. Told me they didnt have the color. When I pressed the issue bill said I will fix for you and we ended up finding the color To match. He was friendly, it was extremely clean and over all a great experience. Ill be going back soon.

This was my first nail salon experience in Macon. I think the service menu is very good, and the prices are fair. After receiving a service, I can tell that they put a lot of work into each pedicure. The massage and scrub was very thorough. I’m very happy with my feet. I went from reptile to queen in an hour.I also appreciate the precautions they’re taking for covid. Everyone is very spaced out, wearing masks, and sanitizing. It’s very clean! Great work! I will be back!

Came here yesterday to get my six year olds nails done. Paid $42 for a regular pedicure and gel polish on her fingernails. An hour after leaving, polish was off of two of her fingers. Went back in to get redone and the woman up front implied that she picked it off... No maam, she gets her nails done regularly and knows not to do that! Last night after her shower she comes and shows me that an entire hand is missing polish, and just now she shows me that two more fingers on the other hand are missing polish too. How, when its gel?? I dont do reviews, but Im doing this one because my daughter is very disappointed. Were not from here, the place we go at home her polish lasts AT LEAST a week. This place may be ok for adults but if your treating a child save your money. I gave 2 stars only because the place seemed clean and they seem to have an efficient system going. But next time were in Macon and want to get our nails done this place will not be our choice.

A bit overpriced for acrylic nails. Pedicure prices were reasonable and quick. Wait time was not an issue.

I walked in today at about 6:40pm now from my understanding and the sign on the door, you all close at 7:30pm. I was asked by an older gentleman, “Can I help you?!” I asked for a gel fill in and a polish change on my toes. He yells back to another gentleman, they converse and he says, “We closed!” As I say excuse me he says it once again not even looking up while he continues to fix the tablet. I’ve been coming here for a while now because the service is great! But at this time you all have lost a loyal customer. I have been to plenty of nail salons were it has been maybe 10 to 20 mins to closing time and the client was still accepted.

Since I’ve moved to GA, this has been my one and only spot to get my nails done. It’s a bit pricey but I love how my pedicure and acrylic nails come out each time! Mark is my go to guy! He’s the best! My nails last long about 3 weeks which is worth the price since I don’t have to go every two weeks but more like once a month. :)

This place is great.. Started off with cool/warm water for my pedicure which was not desirable at all.. But it was because they had so much business that their hot water was used up.. So initially I was thinking this experience was about to be trash lol.. But everything was done so great— the sugar scrub, the foot massage, the hot towels, the clay, the oil downs, the pedicure itself— that I forgot all about the Luke warm start! Have a wide range of prices so the basics are very affordable too.. Great experience! Would recommend and definitely will go back💯

This was my first walk in visit at Tom Hill Nail & Spa and it definitely will not be my last. The staff was very friendly and I was able to understand everything that they were saying. They made sure there was a clear way understanding of the service I wanted and was going to receive BEFORE proceeding. My nails came out flawless and the pedicure was amazing.

So I was recommended this place by a friend from school, specifically because she said they could do stuff like seen in the first picture. I know this for fact because one time she had a manicure very similar to it. I was supper excited about going to a nail solan that could do this because I have never found a solan that could do these things. I show up to the solan and I had called the other day to make an appointment but, when I walked in they said they didnt do appointments so I had to wait for about 30 or so minutes. Now I finally get seated with a tech and as soon as I sit down I am told that I have to go back to waiting because they mixed me up with someone else that came in before me. I understand that mistakes happen but it was still upsetting. So I go back to waiting for another 10 minutes. The next tech opens up and Im seated with her. I show her what I want (the first picture), she says okay, I pick a color other than gray, and she gets to work. When she starts to paint the gel polish on my nails, but instead of doing the the accent nail on my ring finger like we agreed on she starts to continually paint the pink color I picked across all my nails. I pipe up and tell her thats not what I wanted and show her the picture again thats when she tells me that she cant do that. Im at a loss for words when she says this because she just okayed it and I had seen people with diamonds and tiny flames painted or glued on their nails at this salon. So I am forced to settle for the same thing I get every time I go to any nail salon and Im very displeased with this because they were supposed to be able to do these things. And on top of that the shaping of my set is very poorly done. So its safe to say I will provide not be going back.

Went this past Saturday normally Mark is my tech however he was not in. I got the acrylic on both big toes when expressed to the tech that the actual tip was not even on one toe he had an attitude. After attempting to fix that he proceeded to do my fill in the acrylic was ridiculously thick and uneven mind you these are my nails. I got gel polish and the polish has chipped on 1 nail. I have supported this shop since they have opened. I was sent a text message asking me to call to get this resolved however all calls go to voicemail and they never returned my call. Extremely disappointed. Never again!!!!!!!

I was looking for a nail salon open on Sundays and wanted somewhere ive never been before and i seen that they were open and after reading the awesome reviews about this place i decided to take the 8 mile drive and check it out, i was absolutely blown away. From the time I walked in tge door they treated me with the utmost respect, and leah is wonderful, i needed alot done with my nails dur to the horrible experience i received from nails spa by walmart on gray highway they are absolutely hideous at doing nails but leah she took the challenge on head first and was super patient and done a remarkable job and I will definitely return and recommend anyone that hasnt been here to give them a shot, they do temperature checks and form fillouts for COV19 which is awesome in itself. Hands down 5 stars across the charts. Love love love this place, cant wait to get my toes done here.

Tech was nice and my nails turned out better than I hoped but they are over priced, paid $135 for acrylic ombré uncut length and the tools were clearly not cleaned between customers, file was completely worn out and she still continued to use it, electric drills weren’t sanitary and she cut all my fingers when filing my cuticles, nails are cute but I will not be returning because of sanitary problems with tools and over priced

I never realized how much nail technicians rush to get my nails done until I had Newlyn take her time and give me an excellent manicure and full set. They have a very beautiful space and was very spa like. Went with a friend and they did an amazing job on our pedicures. The only issue I had was we stood at the front door for like 10 min without being acknowledge although like 5 people looked right at us and then just continued on their way. When we were finally greeted it was smooth sailing from there.

Today was a bad experience for me. In the future just take accountability for your mistake. The lady that check you in told my nail tech the wrong service I asked for a regular full set I never asked for gel polish nor did my nail tech even ask me was I doing gel polish agin I told both of them I just wanted a regular full set and picked out my color. The same way you all give the brochure for the customer to pick out there service for a pedicure is the same way you should give the customer a brochure to pick out there nail set service to keep down the confusion and the miss understanding. What started out me being calm and just trying to understanding WHAT I AM PAYING MY MONEY FOR turned out to me becoming upset when my nail tech says we will just write it down next time for you no how about next I write it down for you so that it won’t be a misunderstanding since me saying literally two times I only want a regular full set set that’s it nothing else. I am super upset especially when I found a nail salon that I really like spending my money at and your employees act like this as if I did something when if Leah heard the tech talking about gel polish but I’m still saying a regular full set then she should have and could have came over and told him like hey she is saying she just wants a regular full set. I still paid for the good work that was done but listen to your customers on what they want because what if I didn’t bring enough money to pay for that service then y’all would have been looking crazy and had a problem. JUST LISTEN AND TAKE YOUR TIME STOP RUSHING PEOPLE TO CHOOSE SOME PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF DON’T GET NAILS DONE LIKE THAT WE JUST GET TOES DONE. 😡😡😡 I GIVE YALL NO STARS TODAY BUT IT MADE ME SELECT AT LEAST ONE STAR.

Im so picky when it comes to my nails but Lucy here is AMAZING. Shes sent straight from the nail gods and such a clean atmosphere. I wouldnt recommend any other nail salon, best place in macon by far!!!

I asked for a jelly pedicure, Im a very short person and they did not have enough water in the spa to cover my feet. When I ask for more water he turn the water on and burn my leg with hot water and laugh about it like it was funny and tried to make me engage in on the laughter, it was not funny to me and then he chose to put gel polish on my toes I did not ask for and tried to charge me $80 will never go there again!! May go to ER about my leg!

Update: Finally made it here. What a wonderful experience Mark and Monica gave me. I’m pleased that they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable by speaking in another language. I think I had discovered my new nail salon.I called and spoke with a Len or maybe she said Leah. Anyway, she was super sweet and professional. I wanted an appointment with her but she stated she was booked so I’ll go tomorrow and she’s going to do my nails. I don’t mind at all. All the positive reviews I just love it! The pedicure I priced was $28 and the manicure (coffin shape) $34. Eyebrow wax is $10. A lil expensive (I’ll just limit my visits)but if the experience is worth it I’m willing to pay.

Great service. I recommend them and they were available on Sunday. I got one of the special pedicures and the hot stone massage was wonderful.

Jason is AMAZING!!! In the past I had many not-so-great experiences with acrylic, gel, or SNS nails at other salons. They were always too thick and bumpy, or the acrylic was applied to my cuticles which causes premature lifting. As a result, I quit getting my hands done and only got pedicures. I accompanied my two daughters to Tom Hill Nail & Spa for overdue mani / pedi (thanks, covid) and some much needed mother/daughter time. My oldest daughter had a new set of acrylic nails done by Jason and they were absolutely gorgeous! She chose a natural acrylic with colored acrylic powder in a medium blue for the tips. They were perfect! Thin, smooth, only applied to the nail, and the cleanup was outstanding. I was so impressed I went back the next week and had Jason give me a set of French acrylics. They are perfect, too! Jason is the best nail tech I have ever had and I will be a regular customer! Thank you, Jason!!

Amber was wonderful, but the other employees there barely speak English. It was horribly awkward, had trouble telling them what we wanted. Everyone was very kind though, just wasnt a comfortable environment.

I will NEVER return to this establishment for any services after how I was treated yesterday 3/13/2021. This has been the worst experience Ive ever had with a nail salon & Im extremely disappointed and displeased from the services & felt CHEATED. Although Im sure no one even cares or will bother reading my long post, I need to get this off my heart and chest. First I wasnt greeted or acknowledged for the first 7-10 minutes I was there (extremely different from my first experience here & this was my second time), once my presence was acknowledged for me to inform staff that I was there for a fill in, I was asked to wait then sit when a chair was available. Due to the high volume of other customers there was an extended wait time (which I didnt mind) so I patiently awaited my turn. Once it was my turn I was seated with a male nail tech. I told him I would like a fill in and showed him a reference picture (my first time here I was told upfront exactly how much my nails would be, this time prices were never mentioned). He informed me that to do an ombre Id need a fresh set so I agreed. (It should also be noted that I have LONG NATURAL NAILS & I get gel or acrylic on top of them). He began to remove the polish off & I thought he was about to remove the acrylic however he took a nail clipper & while rushing through just cut my nails any type of way on my right hand. I asked him why was he cutting off my real nails and with the acrylic on top of them? It caught me off guard and was upsetting. He said the acrylic and design would look better with my nails cut THEN ASKED if I wanted to keep my nails long. I told him that he already cut half of my nails off & Now there would be no reason to keep one hand long while the other hand is now super short but I didnt initially want my nails cut off at all especially with how much they grew recently. He continued to insist that my nails wouldnt look right long but he also didnt realize or even check to make sure they were my real nails prior to cutting them recklessly. Then he gets to my left thumb with the nail clippers and cuts it so fast and low that he CUT OFF PART OF MY NAIL BED which led to a lot of blood coming out. I instantly began shaking & crying after yelling OWW. He used a paper towel to put pressure on it but it kept bleeding, he used alcohol on the paper towel which burned and hurt worse but kept bleeding, then he then used super glue to stop the bleeding. I was in shock and unsure on what to even do next. Ive never experienced anything like this. He apologized and stated Im sorry I cut your nail, I wasnt paying attention & Im sorry your nails will grow back. He continued on & didnt shapen or tend to my real natural nails in anyway, they were left exactly as is after they were cut with the finger nail clippers. I cried for the next 30-45 minutes while he continued to do my nails, so many tears in my eyes I couldnt even see. Extremely hurt and frustrated that my thumb was hurting and I was so excited to engage in some self care & treat myself to getting my nails done for the experience to be so traumatizing especially because I hate crying in public and being embarrassed. As he did the designs on my nails he complained stating this is too much work upsetting me even more. Upon completion he stated he didnt charge me for the design since he cut my finger/nail & I paid $60. To be honest, my husband and mom told me my service should of been free after my nail bed being cut. Its 24 hours later and not only does my thumb still hurt but my feelings are hurt. So this was the last time Ill be spending my hard earned money at this establishment. This experience made me never want to get my nails done again at any nail salon especially if you dont care about how customers are treated nor the nail health of natural real nails. What sense does it make to cut off my long natural real nails to put fake nails on top? Regardless of my nails being long or short I will need a fill in within 2-3 weeks but thats no excuse to cut my real nails without my permission

I’m not one to write reviews, but my last visit made me so upset I barely made it to the parking lot. When I first got there, I had to wait for a ridiculous amount of time while they sat other people who came in after me. I should’ve left then, but I wanted to see if it’d get better. Free techs were just wondering and staring at me while I was still waiting. No one said a thing to me. When I finally got my nails done, the tech who did it didn’t even do them correctly. To top it all of, a roach then crawled across the work space an practically fell into my lap. When I demanded a discount for my experience they refused. I’ve never had a worse experience getting my nails done.

Don was the absolute BEST!!

My visit today was to remove acrylics. We soaked them off in no time and the removal was very clean. Afterwards I decided to do only a gel polish this time. My nail tech was extremely fast, super efficient and very professional. He practiced the recommended sanitation requirements and made sure that I was satisfied with his work before I left. I will always be a patron of this salon. Great job guys!!!!!

I have never really had a great experience at any nail salon so I went in just hoping I could get my nails done without getting hurt, ignored, or unsatisfied. Bill went absolutely above and beyond all of my expectations. He paid attention to the smallest details and I left looking better than they ever have before. I wanted each of my nails to be a different color and he said “no problem!” To all of my requests and answered all of my questions. He was the most patient and gentle nail tech I’ve ever had.The facility is so clean and modern looking. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone!

This is where I go to relax and receive exceptional service when getting pedicures. They are always prompt, the staff is friendly and the place is always clean! Tom Hill pedicure is my pedicure of choice and I love it!!

This review was updated 04/23/2021 I came in waited about 7 minutes to be asked what I needed. After being passed up 4 time for other customers I said I havent been asked what I needed yet. A younger Male employee came up and said aggressively that I needed to wait until the current customer was done and then someone would help me. After spending at least $200 a month there since may of last year I said no thanks and will never return.

I really enjoy this nail salon, I’ve been going here for a while now! I’ve tried to go to some other ones before, but the experience wasn’t the same! The wait (if any) isn’t too long, they offer you soft drinks or water. They are always courteous. I recently have had Kim perform my pedicure the last two times & she did a pedi & mani on my guy friend, she always does great work & her pedi’s are for a good while (not quick like other salons), she takes her time & I appreciate that! I’m sticking with them for as long as they continue to give off good vibes! ❤️

I come here every 4 weeks, manicure and pedicure with my daughter and my mom. Everyone is nice and even though they are busy they make sure to do a good job every time.

Great experience. Very clean, professional, and organized. Will definitely be back.8-2-19 I really wanted to like this place which is why Ive been back three times since my first visit. My initial visit was awesome, no complaint but my last 3 visits I cant say the same. The paint job was rushed and messy. Some nails not painted all over on the sides. The gel polish is never completely dry before youre being signaled to take your hand from under the light. Then they put a clear coat on top of polish thats not yet dry. When your nails are finished you can see the runs and streaks of the color polish. I want to like it here but the inconsistency for my money is not worth it. I really tried to stick it out thinking it was just an off day but three times straight at various different times throughout the day each time....I dont think Ill be back

I left three stars.. although the service was great, they pressure you into getting something done that you dont want. I went in today for a gel polish removal on my fingers and toes, then I asked for a pedicure only. I stated this to two different techniciansDue to my profession I am not allowed to wear polish on my fingernails but my technician refused to understand this and somehow I was pressured into a manicure with white gel tips on my fingers. Its fine to wear to work because its subtle but either there was a language barrier or she just didnt give a damn.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would because I such a wonderful experience at this salon!!! I went in to have a pedicure and overlay.....I am truly satisfied with the services that I have received on today both technicians took their time. Everyone in the shop has great customer service and so welcoming. I will definitely be telling my friends and will be returning soon!!!

If you’ve never tried this place out, you definitely should! After having a bad experience at the last nail salon I went to, I was searching for a new one. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Even though they seemed pretty busy I was almost immediately seated. I was even offered some water! I had a picture on my phone of the idea I wanted my nails and Bill went and got the nail samples and helped me search through until I found the one I wanted. He tried something a little different with my SNS but told me that if it didn’t work out, to come back and see him. Well unfortunately a few of my nails chipped a couple of days later so I went back to see Bill again and he fixed them, no problem! He was apologizing the whole time and even tidied up all my other nails while I was there. When I tried to pay for the repairs (which I would have been glad to) he wouldn’t let me! I will definitely be going back!
