My boyfriend came in for a walk In without vision insurance. price was half of anywhere else in town (under $75 for contact eye exam) and a totally painless experience. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. My boyfriend said he won’t ever go anywhere else. highly recommend especially after calling about 15 places and everywhere being booked out for weeks. Dr and staff were very nice.

I do have the medical card so I know getting the glasses takes a long time. I came in they have a okay selection but it is the medical card so Im not going to complain they are free. My appointment took me about a week and a half to get in and I got a call my glasses came in about 4 weeks later again I can see great and after reading the comments I dont see the issue with the rude. She was very busy but took care of my needs.

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because of the doctor. The receptionist is rude and obviously has NO phone skills. I have been waiting on glasses for my son and I for 8 weeks now. She said shed call when they came in but doesnt. My other son and roomate got theirs and we all went in on same day. We had to call to find out they were in. Now I call to check on my sons and I and she leaves me on hold for over 10 min then hangs up on me. I call back she picks up and hangs up on me again. Now she wont answer the phone. Very unhappy never have had to wait this long for glasses and deal with such poor customer service skills!

Horrible service! The receptionist / one to assist with eyewear and insurance was beyond rude and unprofessional. I literally had to walk out and take my business somewhere else. I understand finding good help is hard to come by right now but to have an employee like that represent a company, the company definitely will not be there much longer. If you are looking for good service and someone to help you with your eyewear needs, this is NOT the place to go.

Doctor was nice however the receptionist was rude and very short with me. I called to check on my glasses status after 3 weeks still not there. (Glad I ordered backups from a different glasses company). Anyway she said no not yet I said thank you and she hung on me before I finished my sentence. If the doctor was somewhere else Id go back no problem. But I think ill pass due to the rude woman there.

Value Eyewear themselves have been great. That said I have now had to buy two sets of frames from them because the frame design is poor quality. I have had both frames lose the hinge from the plastic frames on the same side. Once superglued they never have an issue. Then the frames can’t handle any kind of bumps or life happenings and have both broken in the same way just past the hinge on the plastic. I have had glasses for 25 years and have never had frames act in such a way. I would give less stars if it wasn’t for the fact that the front desk gal has been as helpful as possible. Would not recommend any plastic frames.

Overall best deals for our money! Also exams and glasses covered by insurance unlike all the other places i know of. Thank you guys and God Bless

Dr Dannatt is the best eye doctor around! He is kind and patient. He’s extremely helpful and listens to what you have to say. Best eye doctor I’ve ever had.

I waited three weeks for an appointment. No one called me to cancel! The roads around them are clear but they have no one to plow their parking? So they are playing it by ear. Nice to know how informative and organized they are. We were expecting snow they should have been prepared.

I absolutely hate the service! So unprofessional. Me & my mom went in together and did our eye exams the same time as well as paper work. We was told 5 to 6 weeks (why?we dont know) we was told from a customer it takes up to 2/3 weeks. Its been 6 weeks my mom glasses are the only ones that came in told me mines wasnt shipped yet. Then I called a week later. They said they apologize and that the reason my glasses are taking so long is because the *paper work* doesnt get filled out at the same time. And im not sure why it wouldnt be filled out if we both came at the same time? How do you only file one persons paper work but not the other person who came with them. Im so upset its been over a month even more upset about the professionalism

My family of 7 have been coming to Value Eyewear for over 15 years. The price of contacts and glasses are very reasonable. Of course, it is not all fancy inside and doesnt have an enormous assortment of glasses, but my kids always find name brands and cute glasses they are happy with. So, save money come here or spend a lot more money and go elsewhere.

Ive never gotten a better deal on glasses anywhere. Simple, good and friendly service. Highly recommend.

I gave this Value eye place My Prescription 6 months ago and still No Class I will need a new script about time if I ever see them. SMH.

So far the process has been okay me and my daughter went in and got our eyes examined they said I needed glasses I ordered my glasses the 11th and it is now the 22nd and still no glasses I called and got placed on hold for 11 minutes then hung up on then when calling back immedantly placed on hold, we will see if I ever receive my glasses or if I have to take my business else where. Edit to say after calling back for a 3rd time and getting the excuse they are busy being told my glasses are in fact ready for pick up, I was originally told 3-5 days and will pick up on day 11.

They never answer phone or call you back after they miss your call
