He doesnt give my refund nor my molds. I was told he hasnt been in the office for weeks and apparently his manager is running the place without him. Those are Lies btw And the manager says she doesnt know when hell be back but if you call and make an appointment she knows exactly when the doctor would be back when hes never left. And hes booked all week but hes gone sick supposedly. Im sick of this all of it ! I just want my refund! And my molds!

Just finished my first appointment at this office and I’m so excited to start my treatment. The staff is so friendly and Dr. J was awesome. He explained everything until I understood all of my treatment and even answered all my questions! Karen the office manager was so helpful. She helped figure out a down payment that was convenient, we set up auto payments for each month and that was it! So easy, super fast and they were smiling and helpful the whole way. I’m so happy I came here. Can’t wait to see my new smile!

Dr. Js office is the best in town. The customer service is top notch. Not only is the entire staff friendly and personable, theyve also proven on multiple occasions that they value their patients time. Ive never waited longer than 5 minutes in either the morning or afternoon. The pricing is extremely fair. After getting quotes all around town from doctors claiming I needed more extensive treatment, Dr. J came along and gave an honest evaluation that ultimately left me with a smile Im happy with. I look forward to going back with any of my orthodontic needs.

Dr. Jonathan Shouhed is absolutely a superb clinician and has excellent communication with all of his patients. From the first moment you meet him you will notice his bubbly personality and it’s obvious that he truly loves what he does. My review for West LA Orthodontics is long overdue, but my experience with this particular team has been nothing short of fabulous. Dr. J has by far the best chairside etiquette I have ever experienced. He is extremely personable, professional, truly cares about his patients, and instantly puts you at ease. I am so glad I stumbled upon West LA Orthodontics back in February after researching a quote for a new set of Hawley retainers. Dr. J had the best quote in town, and I was even able to receive a discount for cash payment. Kudos to Dr. J!

Dr. J literally saved my life. I had been mishandled by previous orthodontists, and had reconciled with the fact that I would never bite properly again or have the smile of my dreams. I’m so pleased to be able to say that Dr. J has succeeded in giving me both! He was realistic with my expectations, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Update 6 8 2021Lighter photo added today. This just goes to show how much my jaw symmetry improved and the fact, that my jaw prefers this alignment for yawning to avoid pops on the right side. Its the best my jaw symmetry and smile has looked since my adult teeth were growing in. The top teeth are moving gradually and comfortably to align with the lower teeth as well. I would blame how the teeth grew in and bad habits that worsened the jaw symmetry left to right angle. Google map search that and you get a duplicate for this page. I posted that about 1 to 2 weeks ago not realizing it was a duplicate page. Ive added a screenshot of the duplicate page as well.I absolutely am so annoyed with YeIp.That ridiculous review service put my five star reviews and updates in the Unrecommended Comment section, due to their stupid, stupid filters.The before and after photos show a work in progress. My jaw feels way more natural where it should be, centered, and most amazing of all to me was that I didnt need surgery for this to be accomplished.Although, there is tilting and sliding of teeth remaining, these before and after only show where my teeth used to be due to excessive chewing and leaning on the right side of my jaw : left side of the photo for visual reference : notice my jaw symmetry to tilt change from left in the photo, to be centered.I used to get tightness and pain chewing too much on my right side, but the evidence is in the Invisalign results, allowing my jaw to have a new bite to rest on.I still have a ways to go, but I can say that Ive considered paying for this treatment up front, with a small discount one of the most rewarding self confidence experiences Ive ever had.I am so, so disappointed in YeIp for such a crude review filtering. I put so much effort into those reviews and only few people are ever going to look for the hard to find, Unrecommended Review section. If you use YeIp, I recommend protest for such poor review filtering standards.Ive considered my experience so far with West La Ortho a small 2020 miracle, and its a small 2021 miracle as well.My tilting, and sliding needs were significant, and Dr Jonathan Shouhed did an amazing job so far! Ive been going to West LA orthodontics after transferring from an Orthodontist on the east coast that I didnt have a great experience with and its been a wonderful experience. Dr. Jon is very personable and transparent when it comes to his treatment plan and makes sure any questions or concerns you have are addressed. I would highly recommend anyone to go see him. Hes a real professional and if you have snoring problems he can help you out with that too haha.

Dr. J has excellent customer service! He is knowledgeable, gentle and patient. He understands that patients may sometimes be anxious when it comes to dental work but he always instills a sense of calmness and trust to guarantee a wonderful experience! I havent been able to see my regular ortho in my town due to the state-wide shut down and Dr S got me in for an online consult right away and has been so helpful with keeping my ortho progress going! He even personally brought my new retainer to another office he worked at near my home so I wouldn’t have to make the trek out to his office in Culver City. Dr. Jonathan Shouhed has proven to be one of the best orthodontists in the city. We have always been very happy with both his work and his highly professional staff. What really put him above par was when he made a special trip to his closed office during Xmas week to replace my daughters wire that had popped out. First time doing a virtual appointment was basically a facetime call with the Doc. We went over options to fix my smile as well as pricing. Tbh I was just looking for a second opinion my primary Orthodontist was very short and didnt give me much information I felt as if I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Heres an update. My daughter just had her braces removed and we couldnt be happier. Her treatment time was shorter than many of her friends. Dr Jonathan Shouhed made a brilliant suggestion at the beginning of her case...To remove some baby teeth early because he believed that not doing so might have led to her canines becoming impacted, just like her mother. Removing these baby teeth early permitted her permanent canines to grow in...and her smile became straight and beautiful.

I love Dr. J! I never had orthodontics as a kid, so hes been making my adult braces experience as good as it can be.

Dr. J is the man! I had orthodontic treatment when I was younger, but when my lower teeth started moving again, I went to see him. He explained all my options and we decided to fix my teeth with Invisalign. Dr. J went over all the pros and cons and once I decided, he even gave me a considerable break on the fee, so that I could afford the treatment I wanted. I highly recommend speaking with Dr. J before you decide on what you do about your smile.

Dr. J and his staff were SO beyond amazing. Probably one of the best dentists that Ive ever gone to. I had lost my retainers and needed some asap, and not only was I able to contact Dr. J after hours on a SUNDAY, but he even offered to come into his office then and there to help me. After talking about price, as it was a huge problem for me seeing as I am a college student, Dr. J gave such a generous price adjustment and Im so thankful. When I did end up coming into the office, it was such a beautiful and friendly place to be, and everyone makes you feel really at home. Dr. J never failed to explain the step by step process of what needed to be done, and what was happening, answering all my questions. Hes so nice, professional, and welcoming. Not to mention the quality of his work is amazing. 10/10 recommend. Im definitely coming back! Also, you cant beat the view (theyre on the 17th floor, and you can see the hollywood sign!), definitely a super great experience.

I am so grateful to Dr. Shouhed! I came to him after I lost my retainer and my teeth had shifted, and he has been solely intent on insuring I have the best smile. During each visit, he was very thorough during my checkups and attentive to my progress. At first, we decided to try Invisalign aligners so that I can avoid the use of metal braces as an adult. Sadly after completing all my Invisalign trays my teeth were straight but my bite wasnt satisfactory. Dr. Shouhed assured me I would have the best smile and he came through. Instead of leaving well enough alone, Dr. Shouhed switched me to metal braces and continued my treatment until I was completely satisfied. I had complete confidence in Dr. Shouhed all throughout the process and would definitely recommend his services!
