I had traditional braces with Florman for about 2 1/2 years. Braces are such an arduous and emotional journey. When I first went in for my consultation I was told it would take 18 months, of course I knew that was wishful thinking because braces do typically take a long time. As an adult with braces it was also so mentally taxing. I cannot say how many times I almost cried in the orthodontist office but every time I was scared or upset, the orthodontist & assistants were all so heartwarming in their responses and helped me through the whole process. Ever since they moved to Brentwood I honestly can say Ive had an even better experience. Everyone in the brentwood office is so cheerful and kind even through this pandemic. I truly am so grateful to finally have my braces off and feel confident in my smile now. Thank you to everyone at Florman for your care & compassion & for fixing my smile! :)

I used to like the doctors, but, since they moved to Brentwood, the office doesn’t really care about the patient anymore. After using them 3x for my family, we are choosing to go elsewhere for the last treatment. High prices and VERY poor customer service is my reason. I tried to tell them and even tried to use them, but, they never got back to me. Both the ortho and office manager didn’t care.Go elsewhere, there are a lot of choices.

I was really hoping for the best when I made my appointment. I should have known this wasn’t going to be a good fit when I was told it would be $125 for a consultation that is typically free. Their reason for this is because I already had Invisalign. My existing treatment doesn’t expire for another 2 years and they wanted to start a “brand new” treatment and charge me $5,000.This office manager had no desire to work with me regarding the price or listen to my concerns. I ended up paying $95 for the consultation just for them to waste my time and try to rip me off! I’ll be going to another Orthodontist who is charging me $1,600. Something just doesn’t add up here!

These doctors are frauds

I was told that my process would take only 10 months during my initial consult and that I would need to purchase their $300 fast track in order to achieve this. Well, it ended up taking nearly 3 years.Also, when I had started my treatment Dr. Florman has several satellite offices in Orange County that I could go to. Over time he stopped using them and now he only has one in Huntington Beach. If you’re located in Orange County you may want to try someone who actually operates out of thereLastly, the one thing I’m also kinda ticked about is the fact that the retainer they made for the bottom set was kind of loose on the left half. I had complained about this in my initial visit but Dr. Florman advised me to just let the teeth settle. Well, I ended up choking on them in the middle of the night and they ended up breaking and I swallowed them whole. Now they want $345 to get the bottom ones redone. Everywhere else usually charges $100-$150 and that’s if the office isn’t at fault! I’d try a different place next time around

I had an amazing experience in the office today. Just went in for my first consultation. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. I am looking forward to starting this journey with Dr. Florman. He was really nice and answered all of my questions. A+ service all around. Btw the fish tank is so cool.

Dr. Gailaini and Florman Orthodontics are good but they need to figure out permanent retainers. Love the therapy dogs. More reasonable than other orthodontists. Note you will likely need a minimum of two phases so negotiate that ahead of time. You also need to tell them anything you notice with your teeth or bite and they can adjust as it’s difficulty for them to get everything perfect without your input.

Had 2 different consultations for Invisalign over 3 years.During the 2nd visit the doctor made a comment about how its been so many years and wondered what I was waiting for . Definitely made me feel like he was looking down on me ( Truth was I didnt have the money and I wish I had the courage of calling him out and shaming him for saying such a thing) . And he did not look at my mouth during this visit to see if my condition was worse.Point being, your going to be seen as just another number ($$) at this established business. Look elsewhere to be treated with dignity.

Laurie the office manager is dishonorable. After my sons braces were take off we got clear retainers. After one year they made us purchase new retainers. Now I want to make an appointment for my son and Laurie wants to charge me $125 for an office visit after spending thousands. Unbelievable. They just want money and is definitely not worth it. Stay away. Go to other more professional and reputable ortho place. Now Im forced to see another orthodontist to correct their incompetence with their retainers which are poorly made. Shame on them.

Started my Invisalign journey today and I’m super excited! The staff was very nice and explained everything to me prior to my consultation. Dr. Florman was honest and direct about my treatment plan answering all my questions. They also gave me a great payment plan. I highly recommend Florman orthodontics to anyone looking for Invisalign.

Dr. Floorman is amazing! I started my treatment with invisalign in 2017 and I am so impressed with what a difference I have seen in the last 7 months. He really takes his time with you and you can tell he is an absolute perfectionist which you want when dealing with teeth. My smile is so much more vibrant now and Im not even done with treatment!

I have had the most amazing experience with the entire team at Florman Orthodontics.. Ive personally had my teath made perfect and also have sent friends who have had the same amazing experience..

Dr. Florman introduced me to Invisalign and it’s been terrific!! I’m an actress, so braces aren’t a a good option for me. I know I could get Invisalign from any orthodontist, but Dr. Florman came highly recommended and I can see why. Such a friendly staff, clean office and easy to schedule with. I would definitely recommend going here for any kind of aligner treatment!

I dont know why other people have rated this orthodontist so low so Im going to share my experience.Dr. Gailani is hands down the best orthodontist in SoCal. I had a pretty bad open bite (I couldnt even eat sandwiches without pulling everything out) and two other orthodontists told me 1. I couldnt do Invisalign and 2. That braces would take years to fix. Even though I had braces when I was a kid (and like an idiot didnt wear my retainer).Dr. Gailani fixed my open bite with Invisalign in 10 months. Im so beyond impressed and shes such a fun, warm person to be around.The offices are great. Tons of really beautiful, huge fish tanks and everything seems modern and new.

This isnt a review, ITS A WARNING.His staff is amazing and energetic and very very nice.Im not sure how many people he pulls in by having an excellent, inviting happy staff. Yet, about 2 out of every 5 customers i saw would always be complaining about quality related mishaps and quality of end result.I told him i tend to sleep on one side and believe my jaw is crooked.I came in warning him of TMJ, xrays showed something odd, he said it was fine.Braces on, and teeth dont close... He says theyll settle, grinds them down to something tiny to get the job started and some space. HE NEVER REPLACED THEM. Every time i went to get them tightened, it would take over an hour. OK! FINE!NEVER ANY VALIDATED OR FREE SPACE FOR PARKING! IN ON THE 2 LOCATIONS I WENT TO.They get removed, and i get immediately uncomfortable and painful retainers.A series of problems with the retainers ensue, and refusal to replace instead tweaking them.The events continued till i got tired of them giving me the run around.I called weeks later and said i cant use them, because as then realized as id stop using the retainers my jaw felt waaaaaaaaaaaaay better. No locking, no pain, nothing. They said ok.Overall i was shocked by his level of responsibility once your done paying. Hes not in it for a job well done.Well, new orthodontistS say he never took care of my cross bite, xray shows jaw joint is out of place when teeth close rather than open as before the braces. She makes me a new set copying the old one. 4 months into it, WAY MORE COMFY! thinner, slimmer strong material for 60 bucks.... he wanted me to pay 400.Hes has that car sale-man behavior if you really pay attention.
