Dr. Canlas is very knowledgable in her field and is a great doctor. I have been seeing her for the past 3 years and will continue to patron Sunset Optometric.

Its always a positive experience to see Dr. Canlas. She takes the time to thoroughly evaluate my vision, answers my questions, and never rushes me through an appointment. This is a very nice office with great staff, a wide selection of frames, and Covid compliant.

Enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Canlas, and staff. She is personable and eager to find the right prescription. Glasses will take another week to arrive, but I expect the glasses to be a right fit.

Dr. Canlas is terrific! I have a very high prescription with some astigmatism, and Im on the verge of needing bifocal/progressive lenses, so Im probably on the more challenging end of the patient spectrum. Ive been seeing her for several years, and she always takes the time to walk through all of my options, update me on the latest contact lens and glasses technology, and make sure Im happy and comfortable with my vision care. I highly recommend her!

All the staff in the office were helpful, supportive and answered all my questions. Thank you to this team for all your help, letting me know what my insurance covers and what my contact lens and glasses options are. Couldnt have had a better experience. I am really glad this office is covered under my insurance!As of COVID, you have to call the phone number on the door to answer the preliminary appointment questions and be let in to the office. There is parking in the rear and meter parking on sunset.

I had an amazing visit. Needed to get a new optometrist, living in Silverlake and found this to be close by and easy to access. The front desk employees were very nice, asking questions over the phone to help fill out the necessary intake forms. Everything was very clean and organized in their office. Dr. Canales was very professional, ensuring I was comfortable in every way. I was not pushed into purchasing glasses and was given a choice on how I could purchase them if I wanted to. Looking forward to going back again.

Well sanitized and clean. Great covid-19 protocol. Dr.Canlas is the very best and always treats her clients great. She talked to me about LASIK eye surgery, provided me with advice and insight, and made sure all my questions were answered.

Moved to this relatively new office from a different LA area optometrist that I always had to wait far too long to get into.Had wonderful service by everyone that helped me. I moved to LA from Dallas 4yrs ago and needed to find an optometrist in my new place called home. I went to a couple but honestly wasn’t pleased with the service. I felt rushed, and more like a dollar sign then a patient. I left with hardly any real information that was valuable to my concern of my eyes....But ooooohh, Dr Canlas was a totally different experience! She was very informative, very sincere, and she didn’t make me feel rushed! She allowed me to ask layers of questions and never gave me the impression she was tired of my questions! Although I was a bit hesitant to have any health check-up during Coronavirus, Dr. Canlas and her team went above and beyond with their COVID-19 prevention measures from limiting the number of patients within the office via appointment only visits to even having a designated cup holder for used pens. These details made me feel relaxed and at ease. You will be in good hands with Dr. Canlas and her team.
