I have been a client of Department of Mental Health from 2017. Each location has something to offer. At Downtown Mental Health. This location is amazing for addicts. Addict does not only mean drugs or liquor.Their are many types of addicts and this place helps you realize it. Just be honest with the intake person. The homeless people are very nice and friendly please do not judge them and enter Downtown Mental Health for its service.

OVER THE PHONE they were very polite.. I go in tomorrow and will update my review on the services that they offer and how staff, and doctors treat patients coming in for help. Making an appointment was quick and easy. I was very open, and honest as I do want help with my moods. They give you an assessment over the phone to be sure you qualify. So be open with them, and remember they are there to help. Dont be afraid to say how youre feeling.. even if its suicide. For me thats not the case, but I have been there years ago and I didnt have anyone. So just be real with them, and yourself .. Ill update and give my experience of everything else tomorrow! ♡

This was a wonderful clinic of top notch service for the down and out. Unfortunately, the good doctors and staff have left and been replaced with cold hearted, conservative, opinionated, and utterly pathetic service providers. Don’t bother speaking with the supervisor of these doctors, she is a militant, ignorant, self-riotous woman of Russian decent who doesn’t know her butt from her elbow. In fact, she is so disilliusioned with her own bs that she is worse than her staff as hard as that is to believe. Avoid this place like the plague!!!!!
