The best decision you can make. The staff was very informative and eager to help. Additionally, no one was pushy with respect to getting the surgery, which speaks to the quality of service. I am on day 1 after surgery and happy to say I am 20/20.Will admit a little eye dryness and some halos with lights at night but that was expected. Generally, this issue will subside after the healing process. Nothing to be worried about though. I will provide further update after my next appointment in two months detailing the healing process. Again, I must say thank you to everyone at LA Sight.

My experience was superb. I had always considered getting LASIK, but never pulled the trigger. After doing some research and yelp searching, I landed on LA Sight and was happy to see all the positive reviews. I booked a consultation and was in for surgery the following week. Overall, Id give my experience an A+. The staff is incredibly friendly, diligent, and communicative. The process is very well planned and managed. Any questions I had, they answered. They really want you to be as comfortable as possible, especially since the experience can be scary for some. I was both nervous and excited when I got the surgery. There was ZERO pain, just mild discomfort (your eyes are open the entire time!); but the process was VERY quick (less than 10 minutes) and the doctor is speaking to you the entire time to keep you at ease. One day after surgery and I can see great! Im excited to see how well my vision improves over the next couple of months (there is a slight halo effect, which is expected immediately following surgery). Id highly recommend going with LA Sight. Great price and incredible value.

These guys are amazing. Just had my two month followup, my vision is better than 20/20. The whole staff was professional and knowledgeable. Their sales process felt a tiny bit aggressive, but it was actually just the push I needed to do something I had been putting off for ages. I can only thank the person who answered my phone call for giving me the extra little push to make that first appointment, and Im glad that they went straight from the initial exam to scheduling the surgery - I didnt even have time to get cold feet! I found this place on Google and after reading the reviews I decided to go in for a consultation even though I live in San Bernardino. I’ve been putting off Lasik for a very long time because I thought it would be too expensive for me. I was extremely happy that the prices are very reasonable. It was $1,500 per eye, but I chose the the upgraded service which came out to $3,800 total for both eyes. The staff was very polite and professional. Dr. Wallace performed my surgery and I am very thankful. To me, the procedure has been very emotional because it’s like I was given my eyes back. Lasik is like a miracle and the recovery is amazingly short. I was given two sets of prescription eye drops and I will use lubricant eye drops for a few months. I now have 20/20 vision and they told me that it will actually get better! It’s pretty mind blowing. I even met a nice young man outside who said he came all the way down from the Bay Area to have Lasik at LA Sight. I will now be recommending this place for Lasik. THANK YOU LA SIGHT!

Prior to deciding to go with LA sight I researched / called about 6 other places for LASIK. LA sight won hands down in terms of price, expertise, reviews, and transparency (to be honest, LA sight should really be increasing their prices by at least $1,000).The percentage of patients achieving 20/20 vision last I checked is about 99% (read through their website), including myself. I am blown away by this level of transparency, I could find none of that information in other places. I think everyone should trust the numbers rather than some other place because they advertise that the Kardashians went there..On to my actual experience. Attention to every little detail. I had my eyes checked over by SEVERAL of the teams doctors during the consultation. I never once felt rushed or like I was just a case to be finished. I felt like the team operated extremely efficiently (I think I waited just minutes between doctors) while still giving world class care.On the day of the operation they made me feel extremely relaxed, down to giving me my own souvenir stress ball. Dr. Wallace finished the operation in minutes and the actual laser-ing was just seconds. Hell narrate throughout the whole very short operation with an audio book like voice that will more likely help you fall asleep than make you nervous. Ive felt more discomfort putting on my contacts than during the entire operation.Now post op, 20/20 vision as I mentioned. No symptoms of dryness, 100% comfort. It really warms my heart and blows my mind on how everyone at LA sight are such wonderful humans, medical experts that provide world class care all while beating all the other places in pricing. Big thank you to Dr. Wallace and team at LA Sight, my only regret is not going to them sooner...

I was very nervous about doing LASIK and at first just went for a consultation to see if I would be a good candidate. Dr. Wallace was so calm and reassuring and professional, I felt like I was in good hands. He answered all my questions (and I had a lot!!). Second day of having my lasik and I can see perfectly clear! The whole staff was so friendly and guided me through everything at first I was nervous about getting lasik but all the staff made me calm and there very knowledged in what they do. Waited 2 years to write a review for my LASIK. Dr. Wallace has great mannerisms and I actually went 2 different places before coming here. Dr. Feinerman told me I had some sort of condition where it prevented me from getting the procedure done. Dr. Wallace was the one who told me it was false information and nothing was wrong with my eyes. I am able to see perfectly from one eye but the other is 20/25. Still, the best decision I have made. Staff is courteous and attentative, didnt try to push me on getting the procedure done. Love that they really look out for your health and not trying to sell you on something.

We first met in 2015 and I desperately wanted LASIK. I would have paid anything at the time. Dr. Wallace actually advised me to HOLD OFF on treatment for my particular optical situation (significant hyperopia or farsightedness) out of concerns that the results might not be *perfect* with existing technology available then. He didnt want my money. To me this shows his true colors as a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients.2. Following 2015, Dr. Wallace and I kept in touch via email - speaking on an annual basis regarding whether there were any options for me and my situation. Dr. Wallace always responded promptly and with great detail as to why I should continue to wait.3. In this years annual follow up (2020) - Dr. Wallace actually recommended I potentially give my money to someone ELSE by referring me to another surgeon in London, a recognized world expert who has published on treating my specific situation. Again, this shows Dr. Wallaces commitment to education and staying top of class in his field.4. Finally, Dr. Wallace has never charged me a single cent. Not for the initial consultation, or the follow-up correspondence or the referral, etc. It is extremely clear to me that Dr. Wallace places the welfare and well-being of his patients above the revenue-generating interests of the practice, which is rare to nonexistent in the modern era.Words cannot express the level of gratitude I feel towards Dr. Wallace. Dr. Wallace and his entire team are great. I had my surgery yesterday and went for my post-op this morning. Im already seeing 20/20.The actual procedure was much easier than I anticipated. A little awkward but no pain. I also felt very safe every visit, from my consult, to my pre-op to the actual surgery, and today for the post op. They are taking every precaution for covid. You have to wear and mask, and they take your temp when you enter and immediately send you to wash your hands before you sit in the waiting room.

I wanted to wait a full month after my procedure until posting a review, as I wanted to see how my eyes progressed. Its now been about a month and a half since I had my all-laser procedure done to both eyes.Scheduling my consultation and surgery was very easy, and there was hardly a wait during any appointment (both of those, as well as my one-day and one-month check ins). The facilities were terrific - clean and modern. All the doctors were sharp and easy to work with. The actual operation itself was surgical - no pun intended - in its efficiency and process. They explained every step along the way, and even provided me a stuffed animal to hold onto while the actual surgery took place.Much to my amazement, I was able to go to work the next day (spent the rest of the day after my surgery mostly napping, eating a burrito, and then napping quite a bit more). I was showing 20/20 vision the day after at my one-day check in, and tested 20/15 at my one-month. I cannot remember ever seeing this well, especially at night. My eyes have regained about 80% of their self-moisturizing ability (usually takes anywhere from 3 months to a year to fully return from the literature Ive read), and all the other initial side effects are gone.Ive spoken to many people whove said that getting LASIK is among the best decisions theyve ever made, and I can now see why. If youre considering it, I definitely recommend a free consult with LA Sight.

For a place that deals with such a high volume of customers, the efficiency of the office is almost as impressive as their focus on their patients.My laser surgery was as everyone else describes - relatively painless, fast, and effective. The first night my eyes were pretty irritable, kind of the feeling of sleeping in your contacts. But since then (its been about two weeks), my eyes will get occasionally dry but other than that my vision is around 20-20 and I couldnt be more satisfied.

Great place. I was suppose to do my lasik at another place but was convinced to come here for a secondary opinion. Glad I came. The service was great. Very polite. Very knowledgeable. Not only were they able to calm my nerves. They explained each procedure to me and what would be the best one to do. By the time I needed to do my procedure. I was clam and not worried at all. This office is amazing for many reasons. First off from the beginning the staff is extremely professional and nice. They arent there to try and sell you on a procedure but instead leave the choice up to you. The price of the procedure is amazing compared to other places.When I had the procedure I didnt feel a thing. The only odd feeling I felt was a little pressure on the eye when they had to cut it. Once the procedure was done I was already able to see. It wasnt till after the post op appointment that I was truly amazed. My vision went from -5.50 to seeing 20/15 (better than 20/20). When one doctor (who you trust) refers you to another doctor, thats a pretty good start. Which is how I came across Dr Wallace. From the moment I walked into their office, and spoke with the front-desk staff, I had a great feeling about the place.During the exam, Dr Wallace explained the procedure, my options, insurance, etc. The next day, at 7 am, I was in surgery. During the process, Dr Wallace was explaining step-by-step, what was happening. Their follow-up was equally detailed.So far, the results have been very good , and as expected. Its worth your time to see him (no pun), get their opinion, and make your own decision.

I found Dr. Wallaces bedside manner to be very comforting during my (very quick!) procedure. Today was my three months post-op appointment and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome. I had pretty bad prescriptions of -7 in both eyes and prisms to correct double vision. Now I am seeing 15/20 in both eyes and rarely need to wear the prism glasses. It’s made life so much easier! Dr. Wallace and the entire office are so warm and professional - I have felt like I was in good hands during every visit. I recommend their services to anyone considering lasik as I do with all my close friends and family now.

THE GOOD: LASIK turned out great. Nice staff. Very clean environment.THE UGLY: During mid-LASIK procedure (both flaps made but laser shaping not started), doctor checked my paperwork. He noticed my prescription was significantly different on my first visit and the day of the surgery (three days apart). Called the nurse who did my day-of prescription check to which she said, yeah I think that number I wrote was a mistake. I am on the table with my eye pried open for going on two minutes now without being able to blink or get it moistened. I mention that my eye feels dried-out but no one in the room does anything. Not only does my eye feeling dried out, there is a chance that they could laser my eye to the wrong prescription. She double checks and confirms it was a mistake on her part and that surgery can continue (while I am freaked out inside).Also, the cherry on top is that while I was on the table about to get lasik, staff member mentions that they misspelled my name on two different patients forms, but that I should not worry because they are sure the paperwork is matching. How do you do that to TWO forms of the SAME person with a simple name?I suggest this place shows the first consultation and day of prescriptions to the customer the day of the surgery and has customer sign paperwork confirming that the two prescriptions match. Also, the doctor should not be double checking my paperwork AFTER I already had my eyes lasered open. This should all be taken care of before we all walk into the operating room.Last part that I find oddly correlating is that when I got my eye flaps made, the doctor said they always start with the patiences left eye then right eye. Once they laser the left eye, you close it. They laser the flap for the right eye then keep that same eye pried open and take their time setting up the laser to shape the cornea. All that time, eye can dry out. I mention this because when I went for my follow up appointment, I mentioned that my right eye really hurt after surgery but my left eye was okay. She said pretty much all patients say the same. How have they not pieced that together.

I can see!!!!!!I had a great experience getting my LASIK done at LA-Sight. The staff and Dr. Wallace were very accommodating and patience with me (they gave me a teddy bear to hold during surgery).Id say the procedure is totally worth the money, it doesnt hurt at all. I really feel like a new person without my hideous glasses. I really dont have any complains. I do have a little bit of dryness and I see halos at night; Im hoping these are temporary side effects. I still have to discuss this on my next appointment.Other than that, Im happy and glad I did it.

I am writing this review because I dont want others to do what I did and lose thier sight or be longsighted or shortsighted nothing can replace your sight if you loose it. It is for ever, before the lasik surgery I could see clearly near but I could not see clearly from afar. Instead of Dr Wallace to discourage me from going for the surgery he instead warned me that later on I would not be able to see clearly both farther and near. After the surgery they said my right eye was 20/25 instead of 20/20 and now I cant see small letters or numbers closely which was not so before the Lasik surgey. When it gets late in the night cant see small object clearly in the night in my phone. A day before the surgey i did not want to do the lasik surgery but the female doctor and Dr Wallace warned me that later on I would have problems seeing clearly both afar and near that is why I had the Lasik surgey which I regret because I got additional eye problems after paying so much for the surgery. I have to get reading glasses which I did not need before the surgery.

I was very hesitant to get lasik eye surgery just because it made me nervous of something going wrong. But now that I have done it, I would do it all over again and sooner. The whole team was great from start to finish. Keith was hilarious and always extremely positive, they have a pre- and post-op care guide who helps inform you about the process right before you go in and checks on you after. And Dr Wallace himself was great. The procedure is definitely scary but they made it painless and made me way calmer than I would have thought I would have been. And best part is, I can see right now to type this review! No glasses! :) My friend recommended them to me and I would recommend them to anyone else.

My experience at LA Sight was amazing the staff is very friendly and truly care about you. Every staff member I met always greeted me with a big smile and truly made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The actual operation took no more than 10 minutes but during the 10 minutes dr Wallace was constantly talking to me providing words of encouragement. I was great full for his words because I entered the operation nervous but quickly became relaxed and confident that everything was going perfect by his words of encouragement. I would recommend LA Sight to any of my friends considering getting the vision corrected.

Dr. Wallace and his staff made me feel like I was in good hands from day one. They were knowledgeable, able to answer all of my questions, and always welcoming during office visits. I went through two separate examinations before LASIK to make sure I was a good candidate, and the surgery itself was fast and painless. They talked me through the whole procedure so I knew exactly what was going on, and even let my boyfriend watch through the window with headphones so he could follow along. A great experience! All of the staff were helpful, friendly, answered all my questions, and double and triple checked everything to make sure my procedure went smoothly. And it did! Even 3 hours after the procedure I had no pain, could see well and the healing was well under way. I was amazed how little pain there was after the procedure.The next day I came back for a check in and they found my vision to be 20/20 even though I had a lot of astigmatism before. Awesome!The prices were competitive, the office was very comfortable and all of the equipment seemed to be state of the art. Talking to other people who have had lasik from other doctors, it seems that my recovery was among the fastest and easiest of any of them, and I credit Dr. Wallace, Dr. Graham and their whole team. I just had my procedure on 6/28/2019 and I cant be happy enough that I found LA Sight to perform my LASIK. Dr. Wallace and his staff are incredibly professional and empathetic to any one who might be nervous (as I was) of the procedure. After searching for weeks and doing multiple consultations, LA Sight has the best value by a LONG shot and I only ended up paying $2800 for both eyes (as advertised on their website for the microkeratome flap procedure). The day after I had 20/20 vision and little-to-no side effects (dry eyes, which is to be expected). I really wish I had found LA Sight sooner!

A week after my LASIK it is still a miracle to have perfect vision. I cannot say thank you enough. This is one of the best things I have ever done for myself and Dr. Wallace and amazing team made it all possible. The whole process has been easy and fun! (who knew surgery could be fun?)

As an Alaskan resident, I was told by surgeons there, I was not a candidate for LASIK. My brother (who lives in LA), found Dr. Wallace and was in the process of having the procedure done, though he had a complication, his experience was a good one. The issue he had, could be genetic, so Dr. Wallace and his team took extra time checking me for the problem. That is what sold me on LA Sight. They were willing to go the extra mile to make sure this procedure was the right one. The same day after surgery I was without pain and seeing perfectly enough to go see a movie! The next day follow up, I was evaluated at 20/20 vision and have had no pain, no halos, no problems with night vision. Prior to surgery I was barely seeing at 20/200. This process was painless, seamless, highly professional with the best bedside manner I have ever encountered. In most cases I would say you get what you pay for; with LA Sight you get WAY MORE than what you pay for. I would most definitely recommend this to others.

After weeks of research and reading countless reviews on various Ophthalmologists, I decided to go with Dr. Wallace and it turned out to be the best decisions I ever made. The staff at LA Sight is fabulous, and Dr. Wallace is almost a legend! I told him today he would have developed a swelled head if he had heard the accolades that were heaped on him in the waiting room at the Surgical Center yesterday, before he removed the cataract from my right eye. Today, one day after surgery, the vision in that eye is deemed to be 20/20. Cant do much better than that! My wife and I are happy to recommend LA Sight and Dr. Wallace unconditionally.

Awesome staff: No matter what they were doing they would look up, make eye contact, and say hello when you walked in. Also, the support staff keeps you so informed of whats going on, by the time the docs come in, you dont have any questions.Up front honesty: The prices are on their website. They arent trying to upsell anything. I wasnt happy that if the laser didnt correct my eye enough, I would have to pay $300 to do it again, but I havent had that problem...yet. Also, they warned me it would have been better to have it done in my 20s or 30s and that even with procedure I may need reading glasses soon as eyes deteriorate naturally.Overall, very good customer service. No attitude. They present the facts, let you make the decision, and go from there. I will be recommending them.

The first and still the best!Almost 20 years ago, when I nervously and meticulously researched the best option for LASIK (then performed with less sophisticated equipment than today), Dr. Wallace emerged as the most skilled and trustworthy choice. Overnight, I went from worse than 20/500 sight in both eyes to better than 20/20.About 7 years later, my vision having naturally adjusted and drifted just slightly, I returned to LA Sight, and Dr. Wallace lifted the same flaps hed made almost a decade earlier (as easily as if hed made them that day) in order to touch up the eyes (with, by then, a newer laser) to 20/20.Cut to this past fall (2018). My vision had been remarkably stable since the touch-up, essentially 20/20, but over 10 years, one eye had drifted just past 20/30 or so. Normally thats not enough to warrant corrective lenses, let alone another laser treatment, but as a sports official, mentally, I was preoccupied with the very slight distortion in one eye.I returned to LA Sight, now from out of state, to meet an office staff entirely different from the one I remembered, but a group that nevertheless is just as courteous, kind and welcoming as the folks who helped me with my first procedure.Most importantly, of course, Dr. Wallace brought his trademark attention to detail and warm, caring bedside manner to the task of restoring my eye back to razor-sharp 20/20 vision once again. I cant thank him and the LA Sight staff enough and would implore any LASIK candidates remotely close to Southern California to pay them a visit before choosing a surgeon.

I was a little nervous going into the consultation, but right when I got to the office I was met with nothing but friendly staff. The consultation was quick and the doc was very calm and relaxed. It really felt like he was just giving his opinion on what I could do for my eyes with no pressure if I didn’t want to. I decided to go through with it, and went to speak to an extremely personable woman who helped me figure out the financial side of it all. I was able to do all of this and the pre-op in the same visit. The day of the surgery I was definitely nervous, but every single person in that office reassured me and made me feel as comfortable as possible. They made it feel like the whole office was focused on me and my treatment. Surgery was quick and painless, I chose a laser version instead of the blade version per the docs recommendation. During the whole process the doc was calmly explaining every step, and really helped keep me calm. The moment I sat up from the bed, my vision was 10x better and has continued to improve every day. I couldn’t be happier with results, and the treatment I received from these doctors and the entire staff. They are setting a very high bar for anyone else in this business. Dr. Wallace was amazing! I did what many people did and called 25 offices to narrow it down to 4 that I went to visit for a consultation. I have an ophthalmologist whose husband does the procedure, but wasn’t sure he was the one for me!After my consultation, Dr. Wallace sat with me for a good period of tome and answered every silly question I had, even about pricing. Many reviews are about the staff, Dr. Wallace and how incredible they are, because really that matters the MOST. I had a good gut feeling when I was leaving and made my appointment that same day (for 3 weeks later).The procedure itself is just soooo incredibly nerve wracking. I have bad anxiety to begin with, but thought I better not take Xanax ahead of time if they were going to give me something. My only advice to those preparing who get very anxious would be to take something BEFORE you go in. As with most sedatives, they don’t work once you are already hyped up and that was the case. The actual surgery was simple, I really liked that Dr. Wallace and Karen talked me through the entire thing and that the lasers counted down. It made me feel very at ease, although I’m pretty sure I stopped breathing for a little.I was pretty nauseous after from all of the anxiety settling, but I’m two days post-op as I write this and I am seeing 20/20. My eyes are so good that I tried to open up my contact case to take out my contacts before bed last night. There is a bit of discomfort and adjustment from light to dark and sensitivity to bright lights, but I imagine that will all fade over time. The drops they prescribe really soothe my eyes and I am looking forward to the future of my new eyes! After extensive research on where to go, I chose LA Sight. I had a welcoming experience during initial consultation with no pressure approach. When I got up off table my vision was already better, though a little hazy I could actually SEE!! I went in to LA sight seeking to correct my astigmatism in my right eye, and was rather doubtful and afraid of the horror stories Ive heard. Everyone there was kind and knowledgeable, I got all my answers and signed up for surgery.It went very quick, took more time to sign in than the procedure itself... the results were instantaneous! I have done some diligent research in trying to find the best Lasik Eye Doctor in Los Angeles because Im not going to skimp out in something as important as my eyes and was willing to fork out a lot of money for it. Then I found Dr. Wallace here at LA Sight. For someone with as many years of experience and notoriety within the Lasik community, he is surprisingly affordable and worth every penny and more. From beginning to end he really was all about the patient, me. When getting my consult with him, he didnt try to up sell me on the more expensive plans and was very candor with me, which I very much appreciated. Prior to having my surgery, you go into a room with relaxing music, on a comfy massage chair that can go zero g with a little fountain in the background which made it a soothing process before the big moment. Throughout the procedure, he walks you through the whole process explaining what will happen, letting you know he is there with you every step of the way which was comforting. It was a quick process and by the end of it, the results were amazing. He truly showed the professionalism I seeked when searching for the best of the best and was pleased with what I found. And of course, I cant forget the staff! They too were a pleasure to deal with and appreciated their efficiency and welcoming demeanor. Thank you again Dr. Wallace and staff!

Its been just about a month and Im thrilled with my new eyesight (mono vision). The key for me was being able to test mono vision with contacts that Dr. Wallace gave me.
