Absolutely horrible service, the “therapy” is an absolute joke. Making appointments is a nightmare. Incompetent staff. I’d give it less than one star if I could.

Its getting better over there. There was like only two other people there waiting. Receptionist was really nice and helpful. Virginia one of the intake workers there is really nice and helpful.

My therapist and her husband dropped by on Sunday. She invited me to take a classes at her church. I went and was happy. It was a blessing because my dad died and I had no where else to go.

They have gotten better, only LA county mental health clinic I know that will set up appointments for new patients. If you have no insurance, they will pay for your meds too. Has a pharmacy, Garfield, close by that knows what they are doing. Been coming here for years. Only problem is the wait to get an appointment. If you come early at 8am, you can get lucky and be seen as a walk-in if another patient cancels.

Seek help elsewhere. Incredibly nasty staff who treat adult patients they dont care for like pariahs, and in some cases go out of their way to let you know it. Very difficult to reschedule appointments, even if you give the administrative staff more than a months notice. And if you dont have an appointment or need to urgently see a doctor, expect to wait at least 3-4 hours to be seen, especially if these petty people dont like you. Most of the good staff members and clinicians have left the clinic, so you have to deal with characters whose behavior would not be tolerated anywhere else.If you currently receive services from DMH West Central and have complaints about the care provided, contact California Department of Health Services Mental Health Ombudsman office.

The worst office in the county, security things they are police and front desk workers have no education. Rude people, seriously need a employee evaluation and overhaul that office to have more professional people working thereDefinitely not worth going

This place is always cancelling appointments and it seems nobody knows what anybody is doing. Its like they go to work each day and improvise. Its terrible but if your low income, you have no choice. Sad

They treat you like a criminal if you miss appointments and give you hell if you wanna switch providers.

They only do walk-ins if you want to get screened but don’t bother. They treat patients like criminals. The people here don’t care about what they do.
