This is my second time having braces. The first orthodontist I went to appeared only to be interested in getting my braces on and off ASAP! Whereas, Dr Ray spent time carefully reviewing my X-rays and teeth to figure out the best approach to straighten my teeth and give me a dynamite smile. She takes her time and is very meticulous. An orthodontist that I actually look forward to seeing! I went to see Dr. Ray to fix my smile. I was an adult getting braces. Well Invisalign to be more accurate. I generally hate anything to do with my teeth, but Dr. Rays office is a really lovely place. Her staff is friendly and they are all great at what they do. I first met with Aja, who gave me all of the information I needed to make a decision, and then Dr. Ray for my consult. I left feeling that I understood each step of the program and what it would entail. I signed up for a year of Invisalign. The office has great technology and each step of the process was easy and seamless. My teeth ended up taking about 18 months to alight (my fault for not wearing my aligners enough) and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. My teeth look great and I am happy I went through the process. I was actually a little sad when my treatment ended because I enjoyed my visits with Dr. Ray. Luckily I have two little ones- so she hasnt seen the last of us! Thanks Dr. Ray and team!

I had some concerns about my treatment plan midway through my treatment (at no fault of the care I was receiving), and wanted to discuss it with the Orthodontist Dr. Courtney took extra time out of her busy schedule to speak with me about my concerns. She gave me non-judgmental feedback, and even consulted with another dentist about my concerns before giving her final comments. Playa Vista Orthodontics has done wonders for my teeth. I came in at the beginning or my freshmen year (high school) with a massive gap between my two front teeth, and a ridiculous overbite. Just got my braces removed after 2 yrs and I have to say that I couldnt be more happier. Dr Ray was so Amazing! The staff was so welcoming. I am a 59 year old female with a very active life. Due to spaces between back teeth, I was losing bone. I needed my teeth straightened to keep by bone healthy. I interviewed 4 other orthodontists prior to choosing Dr. Ray. She is current, skilled, passionate, kind and dedicated. As are all of her staff. After less than a year we moved to Temecula. I stayed with Dr. Ray despite the commute because I believe that these types of relationships are important to keep up if you are thoroughly satisfied. I could not have chosen better!

Dr. Ray is a smart, talent and compassionate orthodontist. My son is 11 years old and special needs. He always asks a lot of questions especially when meeting a new doctor. My orthodontist journey began almost 2 years ago, when I originally went in and consulted with another orthodontist, however unbeknownst to me the practice was switching over.Initially I was skeptical of braces for a couple reasons, FIRST- I was 45+ years old SECOND I had dental work done years ago which included me getting a couple of bridges. None the less, Dr. Ray told me she could help me get the results that I was looking for in terms of straighter teeth.Initially I started off wearing invisaligns, then after coming to terms with myself that my patience was not going to withstand waiting for my teeth to move at a snail’s pace. I had a discussion with Dr. Ray and her team in June 2017 and PLAN B was devised to wear the metal braces for 6 months to a year with results that would make me happy.I have waited and looked forward to this day for SO long and I am extremely happy to say my expectations were far exceeded.Dr. Ray has a team of great assistance, from the time you walk into the door until you are getting your validation, you will be treated with the upmost respect. I love the fact that when I had an appointment, I was never sitting in the waiting room for longer than 5 minutes, the office is never crowded and all your questions can be answered right away, rather it is about billing, appointments or your procedures, you can’t go wrong with Playa Vista Orthodontist.

Ive been a patient of Playa Vista Ortho for over five years, and Ive loved how this practice took care of me before and after my Invisalign. Ive had a great experience with Dr Ray and her staff (Aja and others) from my first visit. I was referred by my dentist and I was very reluctant because I didnt want to be in braces for years at my age. My consultation with Dr. Ray was very pleasant and I think she could sense that I wasnt happy about getting braces but understood the benefit. I wanted the shortest amount of time possible to have to wear braces. Dr Ray told me what I needed and had to do and I did it. I was very diligent in keeping my ortho appointments (never missed one) and dental appointments. She told me exactly when to have my wisdom teeth removed and it was done. It was all well worth it.I started my treatment August 2016 and my braces will be removed next...18 months, right on schedule. Im so excited!
