Large facility, conscientious owner, well trained staff. Our experience was pleasant and informative. I truly feel my dog would be in good hands.

Why would you listen to the producers and yell and do all that if you know it will hurt your business, it just doesnt make any sense. You say its scripted but if i own a business and someone tells me to yell and do all that i wouldnt do it knowing it would hurt my business, +you didnt get your money because the deal was off, and even if it wasnt a show back then you knew there was cameras rolling and you knew people would see it you just dont make sense.

Terrible, I just watched the Profit and this guys needs to figure out how to respect others and recognize they are people. All staff are basically held hostage by this very hostile owner. Also hes not eve worthy of this 1 star review but its the minimum.

The owner is supremely involved. I have a young rescue German Shepard. He personally gives new clients the tour. And he worked with me to figure out the best boarding solution for my anxious pup. Incredible business. Super knowledgeable and proactive.

I met with the owner today and he took extra time to train my dog among meeting her and was very personable and gave me a lot of insight on training my pup. I am excited to board my dog here. It is the only place that is 24 hours and has amazing rates. The facilities are very clean and they make sure your dog is in good hands and safely socializing. So happy I found this place!

LA Dogworks is just absolutely fantastic. The staff genuinely lives what they do and truly care for your dogs like no other place I have ever been to. The facilities are clean, open, and odorless. Its the first time I can say that my dog smells better when I pick her up from a day care than when I dropped her off! From grooming to training and everything in between, this should be your go to place for all things dog related! Best part- they are open 24/7 and offer boarding packages for when you want to go out of town! You can go out for a night on the town and pick your dog up on your way home after a date. And of course the owner- a true gem! Andrew is not only a fantastic trainer but he is also a down to earth great human being. This place is 100% aces!

Like any business, a customers experience is unique to that customer. I have been taking my dogs here for years, long before they appeared on the profit and long before Dog hotel or WAG hotel were on the same blocks. I NEVER had any problems. I am not writing this review to negate others experience. Each pet parent needs to have their own experience, only then will you know why there are different ratings, IMHO.

Seems great.. I can drop and pickup at anytime. The owner explained the cleaning system which meant a lot.. some facility smell like every dogThey’ve ever had. I appreciate. The owner approach to Dog Boarding, ‘they are dogs, not kids’. It made me re-think ideas about my dog having his own couch or aTv in The room. With this company I’d rather spend the money on extra ‘walks’ and maybe occasional grooming services . I haven’t yet, but looking forward to it .

If the owner loved his business that much he would make sure the employees felt that same love and passion for it. Love is what changes the world, and I believe it can change your business. Think about this.

Our experience with LA Dogworks over the past 5 years has been great. Our dog loves to board there and our interaction with the staff has been great too.

We love LA Dogworks. We learned of them through a dog park friend and now we all take our pups there on the same days so they can have playdates. Staff is super nice and their COVID-19 setup for drop-off/pick-up works well.

Manager treats his dog better than people. if you take your dog here, owner will make sure your dog wont leave with a scratch. most people that take their dogs here value their dogs more thsn human life so its a perfect place to take them

Stop blaming every bad review on the profit you need to own up to your mistakes and acknowledge the rather than give us a link to some random Marcus lemonis page if everything was fake there would not be 8 seasons and he would not be a billionaire.You on the other hand are a fake and know nothing about managing people i have taking my dogs there once before the show even came out and i never will again. The staff are amazing and truly love animals dont get me wrong they are great.

I am only giving 4 out of 5 stars (would do 4 1/2 if I could) because its a bit pricey for me :( However, that being said, I took Toby (my English Bully) to 4 places (all had good reps) before LA Dogworks. At EVERY place Toby would end up injured. This is the only facility I feel safe sending him to. So from that respect, worth the money for him to be happy and healthy. Everyone I have seen there has been incredibly nice, friendly - and washed Tobys belongings if they got dirty (believe, most places wont do that). Lol, changed my mind, giving em a 5!

OUTSTANDING FACILITY STAFF IS COMPETENT, DEDICATED AND PROFESSIONAL! Owner personally make sure the dog is compatible and great match for the service they provide! He has experience and appreciate his clients! They cover it all! 24/7 open facility pretty awesome! Today I had the evaluation and because been approved tomorrow at 6 am I can drop my dude to them and be in LAX for my day in Sacramento and here you are at the evening I can go pick him up! Today after the assessment they keep him for 2 hours for free and make sure was a match! I had chance to go run my errands and go back. I got my dude back happy and tired after play all time! He was supervised all time and been taking care as I would do! I Feel comfortable to have him with in this place instead be in the back yard all day!BTW this is the same review I wrote on Yelp as I like to support this business as is good as it is :)

Can you review a business based off reviews? Welp...here goes...there’s a lot to be said about a business whose owner has time to bad mouth clients/potential clients due to a mistake that he made. YOU chose to go on the show...deal with it...people are entitled to have an opinion about your business without patronizing it, especially when the behavior of the owner is evident. I’ve never watched said show so what will you blame my one star review on? It’s purely your piss poor attitude.

If a reality show made your business look bad why did you sign up for it? Plus, blaming a reality show is poor business practice. If your business was really good, the reality show wouldve shown it. The owners ego will be the downfall of this place.

Used old rags, used old covers, employees are unprofessional and will talk about you and your dog negatively. I wish I could give this place 0 stars but unfortunately I can’t .Roaches, dusty, and dogs aren’t always watched so that’s why dogs get in fights and dogs get injured. My experience here was terrible and I’m very happy I will not be returning ever again. I do not recommend this filthy place for your dog because they deserve better. There’s too much favoritism and attention on only specific dogs and I believe all dogs should be loved and payed attention here the same !! Its unfair for the rest of the dogs. It’s overly priced for a bad dog care!

So far this place is fine for daycare, with reasonable rates. The owner is a little bit of an A-type, but I dont find him intimidating or anything. Certainly after talking with him I dont believe for a second that he is cruel to the dogs, nor would he allow his employees to be. My dog came home healthy and happy. Board-and-train is too expensive for me, and some of the gear is pricey, but not that unusual for the area.

OFMG. I dont normally give a 5 star to businesses that I have not experienced the level of service at least a dozen times or so. In this case I must make exceptions. Why? Because these idiots on here are one star reviewing a service they have never experienced. Have anyone on this board ever worked for Google, Amazon, Apple or other high performance organizations? NO. Guess what? If you have chances are youd know more often than not there is constant pressure applied to the employees and its not always pleasant. Its about the customer experience, not the employee experience.Look I do not deny that the owner could use some additional soft skills with his team, but whatever hes doing behind the scene WORKS!!!If the people he employs do not like the way they are being managed they do have options. Weve been taking our now-twelve-year-old large dog here off and on for over two years and have had excellent experiences with both the staff and Andrew for daycare and boarding. Our dog is always excited to come here.Like nearly anywhere, I wish it was cheaper, but the price is competitive with the two neighboring places and I think we get what we pay for here.

I dont understand whats with all the negative reviews here. Ive never seen the reality show or met the owner. Ive had nothing but a positive experience here. We bring our dog Zuko here once a week for about a year, hes a Queensland Heeler and needs the weekly exercise. Hes never come back with any injuries. Every time I pull up to drop him off, he is jumping and howling in the back seat from excitement. The only time hes ever pulled on the leash is to get to the front door of this place faster! He runs and plays with the other pups all day and is spent by the time I pick him up in the evening. The biggest plus for me is that he has enough space to run around, and this place is like a big warehouse. No other doggy daycare has the space to match. LA Dogworks has helped us celebrate many holidays by accommodating Zuko for long stays so we can go out of town. There is even an option for a holiday themed meal sometimes! As long as you reserve in advance, youll get a spot. Pick up and drop off is very easy, use the alley in the back or the front door on Highland. Ive never met the owner but the staff is very professional and friendly. They treat my dog very well and I will continue to give them my business.

Love LA Dogworks. My boy Oatie always comes home happy and tired! The fact that they’re 24hrs is amazing and the hourly rates for the 1st three hours are amazing when I just want Oatie to get a quick hour run in with some friends.

Such a fun place! If I was a dog I would love it here. My bulldog has a blast running around their indoor playground. She loves the staff and their grooming stations always look clean. I love taking my dog here. Highly recommend.

Brother of worker here. He/she is still working there so I wont say names. The enviorment is toxic. Always has been. Every response to negative comment is the same. Blame the show. No sorry or taking responsibility. Same as in house. Iwould leave my pets with that staff is only reason 2 stars however because of that management no one should go here.

I cant say enough about LA Dogworks - they are absolutely WONDERFUL. My pup cant contain his excitement every time we bring him...the moment we even get close to dropping him off he goes absolutely CRAZY hes so thrilled! Unlike many other doggie daycare places that limit their dogs group playtime, LA Dogworks keeps the pups out in a communal area for 12 hours a day. There is someone in the playpen supervising the dogs at all times during group playtime, so he gets TONS of safe doggie AND human interaction and socializing. They are also extremely flexible - you can pickup/dropoff ANY time, 24 hours a day, without a reservation (unless its a holiday, then be sure to book in advance!). This place has been a LIFESAVER, not only for being able to go out of town and on trips, but also for long work days, weekend events, last minute plans, etc. Cannot recommend them more highly!!

I love LA Dogworks and so does BERLIN! I trust them with Berlin and I know she is being taken care of with extra care.I love that I can drop off Berlin at any time of the day or night, and or pick her up.I board Berlin at LA Dogworks and she doesn’t come home freaked out or stressed from being away like she did once, when I brought her to Board elsewhere.It’s the best!

Andrew is an amazing trainer. He truly cares and takes his craft seriously. I prefer this type of militant approach rather than someone who worries about appeasing the emotional instability of his/her customers.Our black lab puppy is in great hands and I highly recommend this place for everyone who truly wants to see their dog trained correctly.The place is clean, the staff is nice and our pup loves the day care.

Love this place. Andrew and his staff were highly recommended by several of my closest friends so we decided to send our black lab pup for day care leading to board and train. He loves it and so do we. Excellent staff. Don’t worry about the reviews about Andrew. He’s just eccentric. He knows how to train and this place is clean and runs well. Friendly staff. I’ve been to other daycare places - this one is our favorite.

Love LA Dogworks and so does my dog! He gets so excited every time we pull up and having it be a one stop shop is amazing, day care, boarding and grooming makes my life so much easier. Nice compact small dog area separate from the main larger dog indoor free play room. Super clean and great ventilation. They usea healthier enzymatic, more natural cleaners to keep the space fresh so your fur baby comes home not bringing his friends sent along. Even so, there is a very well-appointed grooming facility in the same space with great groomers. A good place to get your best friends nail trim-buffing at fair price, for the kind and professional grooming services that they offer. This place has a nicely appointed Pet Supply area. The proprietor is nice enough, and the staff is definitely liked by the dogs. Its a great place for daycare, and a fair place for overnight stays. Definitely check them out if you are looking for irregular or occasional dog place for doggie daycare, or for your overnight vacation. This street has several doggy day care places. Until recently, there were no other rivals. True, until Wags took over the old Pooch Hotel on the other side of the block. I tried this Wags location, but I have visited and it looks good too. Always great to have options, especially if your work brings you to different parts of town or another part of the globe. Its nice to know that Fido will be well taken care of, regardless. I give this place for your own Spot 5 Woofs!

I had to have my doggy stay here for 2 nights while I had to take a last second trip. I think the place was fine but you dont really know what happens while youre gone. My dog was very happy to see me. I would still prefer a friend to watch my dog. but they were good.

OBSESSED with LA Dogworks and have taken my dog here for 2 years now. I know the owner and he is absolutely lovely. Susana is my dogs groomer and she handles dogs with such love & care. Almost as if this was made to be her job. My dog suffered from really bad abuse and is very sensitive when it comes to meeting new people, but Susana always makes him feel welcome. I also buy his organic dog food from here and they bring it out to my car for me on most days. They’re dog treats are fantastic. All of the front desk staff go out of there way to be beyond sweet and knowledgeable. I am sometimes confused how they find such sweet employees! Love love love this place and my dog wouldn’t be as happy and clean if it wasn’t for the LA Dogworks team.

Hello AndrewI just watch a rerun of the profit, I really hope you realize how lucky you are to have a great company. I was very happy you try to change, but it takes time. It seems your not happy around people sometimes, maybe you should hire a store manager. Then you could have more time for yourself and developing an inner peace. So much anger inside is not good for your soul. I know you care about your staff and your company, but it seems like you dont want to let your guards down. I worry about you Andrew, I used to have a boss like you. Till this day I never forget him yelling at me. Then somebody told me hurt people= hurt people. please treat your employees good. The Profit show says this guy is horrible by the shows standards, but unless youve been to L.A Dog Works you shouldnt give a review. Ive never been and Im giving a review just because of everyone else giving bad reviews for no reason. To the owner, I would be interested in a franchise ownership on the east cost if available. Great staff! The facility is cleaner than most people’s homes. Andrew, the owner is always aware of everything, pays attention to detail and his staff is the same. I love LA Dog works, and so does my dog!

My 4-month old puppy Huggy has had a wonderful first week at LA Dogworks. Every single person from the staff that I spoke to before, during and after her stays is always friendly, informative, and helpful. I work odd hours and LA Dogworks afforded me the flexibility to provide Huggy with entertainment, exercise and care while I’m at the office. 5-stars easily.

My dog absolutely loves this place!!! The staff is wonderful, the groomers are top notch!! I can go on, and on about this place. I love the fact that when I pick up my dog they would tell me how his day was, or share picture with me!!! I can tell the staff really loves dogs!! I would recommend this place to everyone, especially those with puppies!! I love hearing that my dog has friends!!!!

I bring my dog here when Im working and he LOVES it, he runs in every morning to visit his friends!I dont know where he finds his staff but they are all wonderful and very friendly and really like their work.I recommend this playground to everyone, it takes all the stress away from collecting your dog when you finish work, if you are running late, as its open 24 hours.Had to write this because I think its a shame some people have been negative with their reviews the fact that the owner answers all of them shows how he cares!I think its well run Very clean and the kids have fun all day (With some down time too)Lucky are the dogs who come here!!!

The owner is an unbalanced but worse are the employees who submit to working for such a person, and still got the facade of the store that Marcus paid for the suitcase.

I sound like a great business idea and is unfortunate as was a false reality of what is clearly not real. it is impossible for a place with 30 employees and have great facilities, have problems such as the television showed. I invite you to investigate a little more depth and not superficially look at what television in order to make money want to show the world. He congratulated them on creating a good space where pets can play, rest and learn.

If there was an option to give this place no stars. I saw this Dog day care on the Profit and I was not happy with what I saw. I would NEVER EVER bring my Angel into this place. I have to much respect and love for my baby girl that I would never subject her to the disrespect and hate of this day care. I would never set my girl in this place, shes getting old and I would never put her in a place I know would hurt and abuse of this place.

La Dogworks is AMAZING. My 4 dogs have been going there for 4 years. The owner and the staff are WONDERFUL and very responsive. They provide a safe and loving environment for my dogs and are incredibly professional. I can always count on them and they are an extension of my family. My dogs CANNOT wait to get out of the car and go to the dogpark.For anyone considering using LA Doworks - go check it out and you will be impressed wit the facility and the people.

The owner kicked my dog!!! He literally kicked him like he was a football!! All because my dog had an accident on the floor!!! I apologized and offered to clean it up. I wasnt even a client yet, I was there to set something up!! How rude and disrespectful!! The owners staff had to apologize for him as he started to have a huge baby tantrum and stormed off stomping his feet! How immature can this vile man be?! I was so close to pressing charges however, my dog was not injured and was offered monetary compensation ($600) I used the money to buy my little dog tons of treats and bones!! Stay away from this place! For the safety of your furry best friend!!

What part of the the show was an ambush? The part where you abused employees or called everyone a moron. I own my own business. Marcus could not make me abuse my employees for a show. That was all you or you are a bigger phony then you profess The Profit to be. I treat my employees with respect even the screw ups that occur. Its the only way to build a bond within the company.

This facility is very clean, staff is very professional and caring, and our dog is always happy, healthy and relaxed when we pick him up from a stay here. I highly recommend this place for boarding.

We take our dog there occasionally, where she seems happier than being home alone. The place is well run and the staff seems to treat the animals nicely.

Excellent day care boarding and grooming training etc. they do it all! I have come to la dogworks for years with my Saint Bernard. Who died s few years ago. I am back with my new puppy. So many of the pemployees are the same. It was like coming home.My Saint Bernard had seizures which they handled. They took wonderful care of him. And they are wonderful with my puppy!I recommend LA dogworks without any reservations!

I actually know a couple people that were also on the profit, and they have nothing but great things to say about Marcus Lemonis.Interesting take you have on the scenario. So you were well aware that this was a reality TV show and therefore you also knew you were being filmed. You were also aware that it would be aired on television and in doing so, the image your actions would portray of yourself and by proxy LA Dogworks.Now that being said, that really only leaves two conclusions:Firstly, you either are exactly the way your portrayed yourself to be on air, in which case I want nothing to do with your establishment, or secondly, you are an exceptionally incompetent individual incapable of making common sense decisions, which in reality (while you are taking care of someone’s pets) is probably more dangerous than the first scenario.Either way, myself or no one I know will set foot in your establishment.Good day to you sir.

I watched the television show and I accompanied the company over the years, I would like to congratulate the owner especially for the passion for animals and for the business! Sometimes explosive people are misunderstood, but they are the most honest!

First day puppy day care for my puppy Kona. She didnt even give me the time of day after I dropped her off which is all I needed to see. I didnt read these review prior to taking her here, but they are clearly lashing out at a person and not the day care. I also did not see the reality show everyone is referring to but I dont care about shows I care about how well my puppy is treated and the conditions there. Without a doubt I am extremely happy with LA Dogworks in these areas. The owner even took almost an hour out of his day to spend extra time with us to show us the place, meet the employees and even a few dog training tips - none of which he had to do. My experience with him and the facility was excellent and my puppy has found her second home. I challenge the negative reviewers to focus on the services provided and how well animals are treated here.

The owner Andrew who works here and runs this place, is by far one of the most delusional people I have ever seen. His complete lack of respect for his employees, the people who make or break a business, is disgusting and unacceptable. This person does not deserve success in any way, shape or form. Delusions of grandeur, control freak, being in complete denial, exaggerated sense of self-importance and lack of empathy for others all equal up to Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Skimming these reviews and it looks like this place has a bad rep because of a reality TV show? wow, people are dumb.Nothing but great experiences with LA Dogworks. Boarded my 1yr old red heeler there for 4 days over the holidays. Andrew gave me a tour of the place first time I came in and I immediately trusted the guy and the way hes built out the facility. Hes a good dude and knows dogs. The staff is great.I dont believe in this review culture hive-brain mentality that the internet breeds and hence never contribute a review. But Im making an exception in this case because this place doesnt deserve the bad rep. Go visit and make your own damn opinion.

Ive never left my dog Jackie off at any doggie day care and LA Dogworks was the first and I loved it! The staff were awesome and you can tell they love their jobs and dogs! I had attempted to drop her off at the other daycare down the block but she was missing 1 shot, the bordetella. They administer the bordetella shot and took her in. Im now hooked! Next time Im in town visiting with Jackie this will be our first stop!

I dont know anything about the reality show, and havent seen or heard anything about it, nor have I ever met the owner to my knowledge.What I do know is my Dog Fred has been going to Dogworks 1 Day a week for over 3 years, in addition to boarding there over the Holidays when I have to go home to the UK, or when I have taken weekend trips. He was an abused Rescue Dog, who was terrified of Men in particular, but ever since he has started going to Dogworks, he gets super excited when I pull up to the door to drop him off. He is happy to go with whatever staff member - even the new ones, who come out to collect him, without even giving me a second look!Yes hes always thrilled to see me when I come back too, but he seems to really love it and the staff, and I feel throughly at ease taking him there. All of my interactions so far with Staff Members have been positive. They are all friendly and attentive, and give the impression that they enjoy working there.My only criticism would be is that its priced on the high side, especially for loyal regular clients, and that it doesnt have a camera in the facility that allows you to view your dog, like a lot other facilities do, but Im more than happy with their service and care for my dog, and after seeing all of these negative comments, I wanted to post a truthful comment, from a Regular Customer.

My boy Winslow LOVES daycare. Every employee i have met has been so sweet to him andAndrew has been kind and attentive with the both of us since i started bringing him in.These people are not afraid to look silly in order to make these dogs comfortable and Andrew never skimps on his kisses for Winslow which means the world to me. Seeing my dog so happy and at home in a place that can definitely come off as intimidating is extremely comforting.and this isnt me assumingive watched the employees interact with him and ive seen his reaction when they come near himif youre a dog this is the place to be; they treat every new client as if that dog were their owni wouldnt dream of taking my baby anywhere else.at least here, i know hes loved and really taken care ofsee for yourself and you wont be disappointedthe people are stellar the dogs are happy and the facility is fantastic [smells great too!]

Shame on people judging this business based on a highly dramatised TV Show.Bring your dog. Get a first hand judgement, then put a review, for Internets sake people !Keep up the good work, Andrew.

Dogworks is heaven on earth for my furry four footed family members rosie and lucky. i would take them nowhere else. piece of mind is a wonderful thing to have and i find it at dogworks while rosie and lucky are having fun being healthy, spending the night or being groomed. always... family first and we are proud and happy to be part of the dogworks family! thank you andrew et all. you are all magnificent! maria, chris, lucky and rosie
