I would highly recommend South Coast Med Spa! The staff is super friendly and they’re awesome about texting you updates and answering all of your questions. I’ve been going to them to get treat my acne scars treated through the laser resurfacing treatment and even though it’s not the most comfortable time, they do a lot to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Lauren has been performing my laser treatments and she was nice enough to tuck me in during my last treatment because my legs were incredibly cold lol. 10/10 experience even though laser treatments can be painful :)

Ive had 5 laser hair removal sessions so far and each has been a positive experience. The staff is respectful, organized, and my appointments always start on time. Its also been effective, and although everyone is different, I think Ill be mostly done after 6 sessions; I was expecting to have to do much more. Im hoping to do revlite laser treatments in the future and will post a review again.For reference I have dark skin and black colored hair. Theres been no damage to my skin from the lasers.

I got the acne scar removal treatment with PRP. I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer at the LA location! She was gentle, patient kind. I had an issue when I couldn’t get one of the treatments on my first visit. But they were so helpful and prompt with helping me fix the issue on my second visit. Everything went smoothly and quickly! Honestly the treatments were painful but the process was so quick and easy. They give you everything you need to relax and not be nervous. Jess the receptionist is amazing as well! Very patient and thorough when explaining what to expect for the treatments. This is a very professional and CLEAN establishment. The staff makes you feel comfortable and they clean between each person who visits. Highly recommend the LA location!

South Coast Med Spa is awesome! It was my first time getting laser treatment for facial hair so I was nervous but all of the staff was so kind and warm! Cheryl did my laser hair removal and made me feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the process. Excited to go back for more treatments!

The location is beautiful and have to say the staff all the girls in front are very sweet, nice, helpful and make you feel at ease I give the staff a 10 in my bookm. Unfortunately all the money that I paid was a waste. I could have gone to any spa and had the same done for less. The gentleman that drew me in (Mark)was sure they would take care of some scarring. Well after the second treatment I didnt see the difference I requested to see him and they would insist on be talking to the standing supervisor or office manager. He was always too busy to talk to me. I finally gave up took the loss. My last treatment was a horrible experience, I guess I got the person doing it upset. Well two years later its back to normal. I believe if you have slight scarring they can take care of it. Anything else I would not waste my time and money $4,000 went down the drain but hey you learn by your mistakes

Had my first scar resurfacing treatment with Jennifer a week ago and it was great. Shes informative, experienced, and just fun to talk to. The whole process took about 2 hours including numbing. Highly recommend!

I have had a great experience with South Coast Med Spa. My boyfriend and I both received laser services from here (I got my underarms laser red and my boyfriend got his scalp done). Everyone who works here is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We came in for a free consultation before signing up and the physician’s assistant that helped us was really patient. She spent time with us and answered all of our questions. We’ve had consultations at 3 other medical offices, but South Coast Med Spa made us feel the most comfortable. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in beauty treatments to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

My appointment was changed last minute from the Newport office to the this LA office. I was very thankful they were able to get me in on such short notice and they even gave me a complimentary BBL treatment for the inconvenience. Facility was clean and staff made sure to maintain cleanliness and social distancing protocols. Amelia at the front desk was very courteous and checked on me throughout the time I was there and prepping for my procedure. She even gave me snacks and water while I waited. Sarah did my procedure and made sure to explain everything she was doing as she was doing it. I was never left surprised or unprepared. She was very gentle and thorough. The procedure is not the most comfortable thing to go through, but Sarah made it tolerable and she was very caring and courteous. Overall, it was a very good experience at this office.

South coast Med Spa has been good to me for the past few years. I had really bad ingrown hairs and my laser treatments have completely fixed the problem! I do my touch ups and don’t have to shave for a while! The hair does grow in eventually but very fine and no more ingrowns!

Had Cheryl for LHR. She was lovely, so thorough, and I’m very happy with my results so far! Definitely recommend her for laser hair removal.

I have been going to South Coast MedSpa since I moved to LA 4 years ago. I was referred by my cousin who hyped about her experience and results she saw. I first started with my face and underarms and now am treating other parts of my body (full back, chest, and abdomen). I currently have NO hair under my arms. I did about 6 treatments, and 6 touchups over the course of 3 years. For my face, I am still getting treatments but the hair has significantly lightened, but not completely gone (due to the fact that hair on the face is more stubborn). The nurses are super friendly, and make you feel comfortable during the process. As long as I live in LA, South Coast Med Spa will be my home for Laser. I am completely happy with their staff, and results ive seen!

Everyone at this company is very friendly, forthright and knowledgeable regarding the treatments I’ve received. I go there for arm hair removal. The hair grows back much lighter and sometimes not at all so overall I’m satisfies with the results. They also have fair pricing and discounts at times. Nurses always talk to you during the procedure to take your mind off the heat which is definitely manageable. Considering arm hair removal I’d say they’re the best in LA with this specific service.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have really bad acne scarring/craters and have had multiple sessions with Amber. Amber as well as the staff are heavenly. They are so kind and helpful. I love South Coast MedSPA on Wilshire for the quality of services provided. I’m getting BBL for face and neck and I’ve had a laser hair removal. I’m deeply satisfied with both kinds of treatments! I can see the result immediately right after BBL - my dark circles under my eyes go away when I’m just done. And I did laser hair removal around the world. And some of lasers even didn’t work at all or the hair didnt stop growing, just grew more slowly. So, it’s impossible to remember how many different types of lasers I used for hair removal. But I can definitely tell that SCMS uses one of the best lasers I’ve ever had! Because I’ve had my treatment in February the last time and now is June and I just feel I’m about to get laser treatment again soon. I loved to get my treatments from Amber! Leg hair gone....face looking amazing. I didnt think it was possible....as my legs were very hairy. Needed a bit more sessions then average but voila. I’ve had acne since I was a teenager and well into my late 20’s. Now in my 30’s I don’t get acne only “my normal” hormonal acne that comes during my time of the month. I was left with bad acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. Before I decided on SCMS, I did my research for quite a while. Other places just didn’t convince me so I decided to book a consultation and now I have completed 2 out of my three laser treatments and I am loving the results so far. It has fixed my facial texture and scarring. I can’t wait for my next laser procedure and the results that come after. The staff are very supportive and kind and make you feel very comfortable. They explained and answered my questions in regards to the laser procedures and never tried to sell me perfection. Even though traffic is horrible, the fact that they made me feel comfortable and were forward with me is what definitely made me choose them in the end. I can’t wait for last laser procedure and maybe try some other ones.

I took a long time searching online to look for a good place for my treatment and finally i decided to come to South Coast MedSpa after reading all the reviews. The staff there are very nice and knowledgeable, the environment is also relaxing, making me feel no worry at all. Ive already taken three treatments and I am so amazed by the results!

If youre a guy and were interested in getting your back done or your Austin Powers chest pelt zapped, I highly recommend this place. I was sort of embarrassed about having the treatments but the staff could not have made me feel more comfortable. They even had pictures hanging in the suite of other guys who have had hair removal like MMA fighters and a radio personality from ESPN radio which is where I heard about this place to begin with. Like I said, they are very guy friendly and you do not feel out of place going there. The other thing I love is that they never pressured me into anything. They do not push and push for more packages and more treatments like other places do. Reading some of the other Yelp reviews about other laser hair treatment centers makes me think they care only about the money and not the service. I read one review where they had a damn tip jar! How unprofessional can you get. You get what you pay for so even if South Coast Med Spa is a smidgen more expensive than some of the other pop up clinics you have researched, it is still worth it. These guys have been around before the others and the first is still the best.

Unbelievable unprofessional made an appointment at 3:30pm, missed work . They reschedule me a day before!! I CALLED BEFORE driving there. Showed up. Just so they can tell me theyre working on other patients and dont have time for me?? Really. I call before arriving there. Drove an hour ad 15 mn in traffic like Really?? Disappointed

I had my first treatment back in January, and right after my skin healed I could tell a big difference! Before I was able to see little Ice picks when the lighting was above my face, now I cant even see them! The scars are smoother and less visible. I cant wait to see my results after the 2nd treatment! The staff at both the Los Angeles and Newport are very friendly too! I know I sound like those annoying commercials but its true! I recommend going here before you try any other location. I wish someone told me about this place years ago!

Going to a hair removal place is as exciting as going to the dentist. I can barely sleep the night before because Im nervous about whether my body will be able to withstand the pain. From the moment I walked in the door for an initial consultation, SCMS made me feel relaxed and totally at ease with the whole process. Their staff is always really friendly and they go out of their way to make the experience as pleasant as it can be. Ive been four times and am always greeted with smiles and cheer. They are extremely helpful with any questions/concerns you may have, and the women doing the actual laser removal are experts, usually they have masters in some field of science or medicine. I always leave very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the team and how seriously they take their jobs. Thank you South Coast Medspa, I cant recommend you enough!

COMPLETE RIP OFF: Spent almost $5000 on Acne Scar Removal, literally there is a 5% difference in my scars (if that). THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! STAY AWAY! Acne scar removal DOES NOT WORK, doesnt matter if your scars are deep or shallow they will NOT go away or even become unnoticeable. They promise certain results and do not deliver. Wish I can get my money back, this practice should be illegal!

After waiting over a year to have my first treatment I finally had laser acne scar removal at southcoast medspa done Thursday night. I was so nervous be I didnt know what to expect, the southcoast team made me so comfortable I was super nervous to see what it would feel like and it was nothing more than a warm tapping on my face. I actually didnt take any medication besides Tylenol and it was fine. They will give you medication if you need it but rest assure this isnt as bad as you may think. I am a big baby and got through it fine. I will upload pics of yelp allows me too and also u can message me and I will show u the process and my own healing. This was treatment 1 for me. I do not have deep scarring but surfacy scarring and also sun damage and know this will renew my skin and help discoloration and dark spots. The whole procedure lasted about 45 minutes and Courtney explained every move she made making me feel so comfortable. I came in on Thursday night and feel by Sunday I will be fine to fly out as far as downtime. I was worried about the pain of it and and am so glad I did it because it didnt hurt really at all. I felt very confident in them and am excited to see results after my third.I will post my before and afters when I have them so everyone can see what it looks like.

They are professional during treatment, answered all of my questions before we started, helped us out with a payment plan, and are very accomodating when trying to schedule my appointments around my busy schedule (they take appointments as late as 830pm! which is amazing for us ladies who work long hours).I will undoubtedly be telling all of my friends about SCMS and referring them as much as possible.As far as the quality of the lasers go... I have only had 2 treatments thus far and I am completely amazing with the results! my hair is already growing back thinner and after a treatment it wont grow back for quite awhile. I went from shaving every day to almost going 3-4 days in between. That is itself is quite a change for the better!I could not be happier with SCMS and am glad I heard about them through one of their radio adds.

Very professional and friendly staff

No good results from laser treatment. Very little hair removed even I am not a hairy individual. Very difficult to get an appointment once they get your money. Disappointing.

Do NOT believe the reviews. This place is RIP-OFF. The employees are rude as well.They dont honor the prices that they quote you at the initial appointment.STAY AWAY!!!
