Horrible experience. Basically $150 (consultation fee)for 5min, he is so much in rush to jump on to another client, he speaks so fast, the maximum time he spent with me was 5min, not only that the cream he prescribed was useless, I texted them and let them know about it and they wanted to charge $120 for follow up visit, seriously? First of all the med that you prescribed didn’t work, waste of money and time, second of all, all you need to do is write a prescription for 5sec for another cream and you wanna charge $120? Never going back.

Dr. Kim is truly exceptional in every way, and I would strongly recommend him (and have already recommended him to several friends in Ktown!). Terrible experience. I spent more than 500$ for a treatment I didn’t need. “He was 99% sure” At the end after 3 visits with him, he changed his diagnosis and didn’t give any solution to my problem. I ask him if maybe was an allergy and he told me “if you want you can take....” “if you want you can take an allergy test....” really? If I want? Just terrible and disappointing and....he always seemed to be in a rush. Maybe he is a good cosmetic doctor? So be careful. Fake 5 star reviews?Fist time leaving a review and I know reviews help people so be careful.

I rarely write online reviews, but I have to let people know about this wonderful doctor’s office. I took my daughter to this dermatologist office last week for an awful face rash that started months ago while she was away at college last year. Having failed face treatments at a skin care spa and steroids creams given by her student health clinic, she was really desperate. We initially found Dr. Kim’s practice on the internet, but then also heard from a friend that they were really good. After a pleasant visit with the doctor, we carefully followed all his detailed instructions about how to get better and used the oral and gel medications he prescribed. My daughter is now so much better after just a week! And to think she’s been suffering with this months! Thank you, Dr. Kim. You are the best!!!

My foot rash is gone. They were busy but I still had quick and friendly service. Practice is in a nice modern office and they have a top notch doctor. Seems like this is the place to go in koreatown if you have dermatology problems.

Best derm office ever!! And Ive been to many! Easy access from buildings underground parking to a clean, well-designed office. Friendly front desk people and nurses. Doctor is awesome. He gave me an accurate diagnosis and right treatment. He even asked me about my insurance, which I didnt have at the time of my visit, then took the extra time to call and check with my pharmacy to make sure the medicine he was writing for wasnt super expensive. WOW, Ive never had a doctor do that for me. Ten stars!!!

This practice is really terrific. The office itself is clean and very nicely designed, the staff is friendly and was very helpful when I called to make an appointment. As for Dr. Kim, he couldnt have been nicer, knew his stuff and was happy to address all my questions and what i have to admit was a rather long written list of skin concerns I have had some time. I didnt have insurance coverage when I visited the office and what they charge for patients without insurance was very reasonable. Ive been to several other dermatologists in LA that charge a lot more. Over all, I would give Dr. Kim and his practice more than 5 stars if I could.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place. I’ve looked through all these nice reviews before coming which happens to be all fake. I went for hair loss treatment around last year and was prescribed a 6 month medication. The Doctor informed me that my next visit to see the results will not be charged. I took the 6 month medication which did no difference to me at all and call back to talk about it with the Doctor. When I called the front desk they started to say that it is not possible for a free visit. I informed them that the Doctor told me in person about the problem and then came back to tell me that the Doctor only says that the visit is free when there is something wrong with the medication and only if it gives me a rash or any bad symptoms. I tried to understand and be calm about the situation so, I decided to pay for the visit charge of $100. When I went to see the Doctor he saw me for 2 minutes, changed my medication, and left me to pay the visit. I tried to understand again and thought that maybe he was busy and tried to giving trust in him. A couple of weeks after taking the medication, showed a horrible rash and my hair started to fall out much more which made me very furious. I CAN NOT believe he made pay another $100 for this unbelievable medication. I had to go see another dermatologist and had to pay more for the mistake he made. NEVER EVER TRUST THIS MAN.

The price is insane even the staff looks nice. The first consultation fee is $150, I paid for it since I truly hope They can help me. The first consultation was about 10 minutes and the doctor gave me the prescription. I got the medicine as showed in the pictures and my skin goes better 1 week later. But after I finished the medicine and stopped the cream, my skin goes wrong again. I want to do the follow up treatment, but the price is $100. Oh my gosh. I seriously wonder if it’s reasonable to charge that much.

I highly recommend going here if you a skin problem. I developed a rash that just wouldnt go away with home remedies and even after a visit with my PCP. The office was clean and modern, staff friendly, and the doctor was knowledgeable, listened to my skin concerns and offered me treatments that worked to get rid of my rash. Very happy to have found this derm practice.

I had a great visit at this office. Ive been dealing with acne on my face and back for several years. My mother and I chose this office after seeing good reviews on the web and they were spot on. The doctor was really nice, informative and asked me lots of questions about my history of treatment successes and failures, then gave a plan to get better that seemed very workable. Ill be returning to college next month and looking forward to how my acne will improve during the coming semester. I plan to be back to see Dr. Kim when im home during the holiday break. Also, I should mention the staff member at this office were all very friendly and particularly helpful, like offering me coupons for acne medicines which can sometimes be really expensive.

Dr. Kim and his staff are absolutely incredible! I went in to get a consultation for my acne scars and I ended up getting Erbium laser. Fast forward after getting my laser treatment and healing, but you can barely notice my acne scars and my skin looks great! I’m so happy I went and saw Dr. Kim. Definitely going back to get other treatments.

I have been contemplating getting botox for awhile now and after seeing such great results from friends who get their work done by Dr. Michael Kim, I decided to make an appointment with him. Overall, I am so happy with my results and the experience was great! Dr. Kim is very kind and thoroughly explained each step of the way which helped ease my nerves. I am so happy to have found a practice with attentive staff and an informative doctor who made the process feel really comfortable. The botox came out looking very natural and I love the way it looks! Im so happy with how he smoothed the lines on my forehead that has been an insecurity of mine for a long time. Thank you Dr. Kim!

Be cautious for their craft and suspicious billing practice. If you pay with cash or credit card, and provide them your insurance information, they will get the payment from both you and your insurance. And if you remember the payment made with cash or your credit card, and ask refund, then they will refund with deducting your insurance portion from it.In a word, if you have no insurance, they will just take your cash or credit card payment only. But if your insurance company pays for you later, then they take the insurance payment, too. But you have to have good memory to ask for the refund you paid before they claimed to your insurance. Luckily if you do it, then they will deduct the patient portion from it and refund the rest to you.In my case, at the time of visit $185 was asked to pay with either cash or credit card. They said it was a full payment, but if my insurance company pays it and they will refund the money I paid. A month later, they claimed to my insurance for $439 and got $219.14. Since then there were no refund nor billing for the patient responsibility to me for TWO months! I wonder what they expected on me with holding the money for two months. Eventually when I contacted them for the refund, they said they will deduct the patient portion and refund the rest. OMG! They are full of crap! Be careful!

Dr kim was very kind and informative when I brought my father to get the warts removed he really provided a very thorough explanation of the procedure, following the care instructions and what to expect after the procedure. Overall he and his team were amazing and they have Spanish speaking staff.
