After reading Yelp reviews of how patient and kind Dr. Harmandarian is to those of who are afraid of going to the dentist I decided to give her a try.She is the best. She is absolutely honest and listens and knows what she is doing. I totally trust her and that almost never happens for me anymore.Ive lived in Los Angeles for 8 years and have been to two other dentists. The first one was very nice, but every single time I went in for anything, a follow up or just a cleaning, his assistant started out the appointment by making me get a bunch of X-rays.The second one I went to was also a little too eager to push extra care. And not really helping my situations because the first dentist refused to send over all the X-rays.I was really discouraged by the time I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Harmandarian. I showed up on her doorstep after five years of no dental care, during COVID with gingivitis and cracked teeth, and terrified.And she fixed me.Shes down to earth, explains everything she does, and obviously really cares about my health and comfort. She checks in to make sure Im OK at perfect intervals, but also shes not timid. She knows her stuff.Im never changing dentists again.WHAT A RELIEF!

This was my first visit to Dr. Harmandarian and I am favorably impressed. She is a real pro. Very thorough and explains everything regarding your teeth. She also doesnt try to upsell you on stuff you dont need and leaves the decisions to what you do with your teeth to you. Her assistant, Kassandra, is also top notch and makes sure that you know exactly what your insurance covers before you go in.I am really glad that I found her!

I have been absolutely terrified of seeing a dentist for my entire life. I have crippling dental anxiety and even the sound of the drills and the pressure on my teeth freaks me out. But I finally decided to challenge that fear and make an appointment with Dr. Harmandarian and I am so glad I did.She is patient, kind, accommodating, and gentle. She is very in tune with her patients. She knows when Ive hit my limit and need to schedule out new appointments instead of trying to tackle more than I can handle in one visit. She prescribed me a small amount of medication to help with my dental anxiety and is just a genuinely great dentist.I scheduled my initial check up not really knowing if I would be able to handle going in for another visit because of my anxiety, but i have now had three cavities fixed in the last two weeks.Her assistant Cassandra is really polite and encouraging as well. I couldnt ask for a better experience. Im still anxious about dental work but my visits with Dr. Harmandarian have helped me work through it so much. Im so grateful to be her patient.(Unrelated, she is even helping a small litter of kittens and their mama who live on her property and making sure theyre safe and cared for responsibly. Shes just a dang good human!)

Great place to go I live like 10 mins from here. If you live as close or near you should go if in need of dental work superior Doctor and staff. Definitely recommending to everyone!

LOVE Dr. Anna and her magical dental office! I lovingly call her my COSMIC DENTST, because she is spiritual and kind and Fun!! Im happy to drive 35 to see her because SHESWORTH IT!! So glad I found Dr. Harmandarian. After too many dental-assembly lines, its nice to put my faith in a pro who knows me and isnt trying to force procedures onto me to pad their bottom lines. Highly recommended.

Dr Harmandarian is the best! Shes so thorough, but shes so down to earth. She does the cleanings herself, and is so attentive. Definitely a breath of fresh air in an LA dental industry that is becoming more and more in it for the money and upsells.

This is a family dentist. Small establishment. Not open often, limited hours, limited walkins. Also not helpful when the DR is more interested in whether she wants to come in today or help with a painful dental emergency. Suggest you find another dentist.

Dr. Anna is amazing. Just had my first visit and got x-rays and a cleaning. She was hands-on and very thoughtful. Her approach was conservative rather than immediately suggesting intensive/aggressive treatment. Ill definitely be back and look forward to being a long term patient.

Dr. Harmandarian was my first dentist in the last 4 years and I had a lot of anxiety coming in. She was so friendly and welcoming and put me at ease. We discussed my dental plan and was really informative. I cant say enough good things about her. I am going back for some filling and have recommended my husband.

Dr. Harmandarian is actually a Ten Star Dentist.I want to briefly explain how I came to be her patient because it shows the kind of person she is. Last December I thought I lost a crown. Since I live in Eagle Rock, I spotted Dr. Hs office. I entered and explained to the staff person what the problem was, thinking I would make an appointment. Dr. H heard the conversation and came out of her office, greeted me and said she had a few minutes so she would take a look at my tooth. She discovered that it was a broken tooth and not simply the loss of the crown. She said that I would need a root canal and then a new crown. I told her that I was leaving town shortly for a few months. She said there wouldnt be enough time to do the work before then. I thanked her for her analysis and asked for the bill. No charge.Now Im back in Eagle Rock and just finished a series of appointments with my TEN STAR Dentist.

Dr. Harmandarian is an awesome dentist. Very friendly and skillful. The fee is also very reasonable. Id totally recommend her to all of my friends.
