Been going here for almost 3 years and highly recommend. Dr. Chung is friendly and does really great work. She and her staff go above and beyond to make me (a highly anxious person) feel comfortable and relaxed during each procedure. They have Netflix in each room that you can watch either with subtitles or headphones.Their dental chairs have a MASSAGE and WARMING feature which really curves anxiety!Strict COVID protocols, so feels very safe during this crazy pandemic.Because its so hard to get in, be sure to keep your appointments because they do charge a no-show fee if you cancel within 24 hours, however they give PLENTY of text and email reminders so really no reason to miss.

I always saw the best dentists in Beverly Hills great experiences and happy with services. Then my financial situation changed, I was not able to see a dentist for several years. I found Dr Chung by chance and she is wonderful.Her staff, hygenists, everyone is friendly, I get great care and the prices are very resonable. On my first visit one of the front staff told me how to sign up to get a dental savings plan, that has helped me get the care I need.

This is a very nice and clean office with great staff that really care. Dr. Chung is extremely knowledgeable, professional and that shows through with everyone working there.

DO NOT GO HERE. Scammy charges. Lost $200 All because I had missed an appointment by accident due to unforeseen personal matter with a pet. They will not apply the fee to a future service nor will insurance cover the charge because its not a service provided. This is how they can pay for millennial branding by scamming people who are on Covered California because theyve lost their jobs. People who are desperately trying to make it by. A serious scam and very disappointing considering how well they are rated for their services.

Dr. Chung is the greatest doctor I have ever come across. I have been a patient at Birdseye for over three years. Her staff is excellent. This week I am extremely happy with my teeth. I have completed the Invisalign treatment. I honestly never thought my teeth would look this good again. Half way through the process I had a bad day and I took it out on Dr. Chung, blaming Birdseye for my own mistake of losing a tray. Dr. Chung called me in person where I was met with humbling compassion that changed my perspective and once again made me grateful for a Birdseye. I knew she cared about her patients before that. But afterwards I realized what a truly rare gem she is in the medical field. There simply are not enough doctors who truly care about their patients like Millie Chung. I’ve read all the negative reviews here. A lot of people are just having bad days like I did, which is understandable. But 3.9 is 1.1 short of an accurate grade for Birdseye. Ignore the negative reviews. If you’ve experienced the same excellent service that I have, you should write a review so Dr. Chung knows she is appreciated. Thank you, Birdseye. My smile makes me proud once again.

They illegally held money that was owed to me for NINE DAYS and even after my insurance company told them to give me a refund on the 23rd (they were paid on the 16th), they waited 48 hours to do so. They owe me for two more claims that I had to pursue the refunds for because they didn’t have the decency to reach out to me and let me know my insurance covered appointments that I previously paid for.All my crowns were done poorly and in a rush right as the pandemic hit and I feel like the dentist is hustling for money, which is sad and dangerous. Have you ever had a dentist do a full crown on your teeth and work on other patients at the SAME TIME? I even had a string left in my crown, which caused my gums to be separated from my crown during healing, now it smells bad and I have to get the crown fixed.When my concerns about my money were communicated three times, the dentist called me to defend herself, not to apologize. She try’s to pretend she has it all together, but I felt like I was on a reality show when she struggled to defend herself against insurance fraud, she had such a bad attitude. Excuse me Dr, I’m not rich like you, your office willfully withholding my money for 9 days is illegal and unethical, how can you argue that with someone during a time like this?Have you ever had a check up that ONLY consisted on x-rays with no review of those x rays or even as much as the dentist sitting down beside you to look at your teeth for oral health? That’s called insurance fraud. Holding a patients money for service that were paid in full by insurance? Fraud!Then after my crowns, I found out my teeth were fine and could’ve had partials or filling. SmhThe billing specialist is lazy and filed two of my claims incorrectly, and blamed my insurance and myself for their payments coming later than expected. Good service and kind people. I always feel informed and never pressured. I’ve been going for cleanings for the past year. I also did zoom whitening and was really happy with that as well. I just got a small chip on my front tooth fixed, too, and it looks so good. And now during COVID, they are taking many precautions to keep their staff and patients safe. I def recommend.

Both Dr. Chung and Dr. Castillo are compassionate, thorough and excellent at what they do. I appreciate them so much and I know that I’m in good hands with them.

She was sweet and had a great smile.Everyone there was kind, professional and their customer service was amazing!Dr.Chung (Beautiful Millie) is intelligent, funny, patient, caring, beautiful, and shes super helpful. She took her time to explain the issues Im having with my teeth. From explaining the x-rays to deep cleaning my teeth she made it her top priority to make sure I knew the issue and knew I could count on her to resolve them. She even had a whole step by step plan set up to fix and perfect my teeth. Im forever grateful.She cares about her customers and their teeth!I recommend everyone come here! Plus they have Netflix and Massaging Chairs!

Dr. Chung and the entire staff attend to every personal need, explain each procedure with care and concern and have been completely patient with me and my current dissipating anxiety! If you are looking for a new dentist with super services, completely modern equipment and treatments, fair pricing, you must make an appointment with Birds Eye Dentistry! This place is a sleek variation on the classic dental take-down: bring you in with an inexpensive cleaning special, take a few x-rays and probe your pockets, then recommend a hideously expensive treatment plan for a bunch of procedures you probably dont need. This strategy works great on poor people; this practice seems to be taking it up-market.I was looking to change dentist purely on location - this is a new dental practice I can walk to from home. I was completely happy with my old dentist in Burbank - regular check-ups, no problems, everything was great.My first visit to Birds Eye included a complete checkup and x-rays, in particular a very aggressive survey to check for pockets. Newsflash: anybody can find a 6mm pocket if you push down on the probe until you pierce the gums until they bleed - pockets that my old dentist says do not exist. The results? $6,000 treatment plan, to begin immediately. Where my old dentist says to keep an eye on things and to brush and floss, this dentist wants to root plane everything in sight and replace work older than 10 years. Felt a little bit like a shakedown.My main problem with this business is that they seem to be financially extremely aggressive (If you have dental insurance this wont be an issue for you, but who has dental insurance these days?) I dont feel like I can take their advice entirely seriously because it seems like everything they recommend ends up being thousands of dollars in their pocket, immediately.So, I am staying with my old dentist. Turns out the drive is worth it.And beware: a bunch of five star reviews here from reviewers with 5 reviews or less. Also suspicious.

I’ve been going to Birdseye for a year know. I always leave their office happy that I went to the dentist. Which is a miracle, because for forty years I have dreaded every dentist I’ve had. But alas I found Birdseye with gentle and caring dentists who are genuinely concerned with your teeth and well being while you’re in the chair. And speaking of chairs, did I mention they have massage chairs? I mean, you get massaged while wearing headphones and watching your favorite Netflix show. You almost forget that the doctors are there. I’m really impressed with the care they give. My teeth feel great! I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. I can’t believe I just said that. I’ve never wanted to rate anyone higher than 5 stars ... until now. Thank you, Birdseye!UPDATE: I must write another raving review but Google only allows one review per business so I’ll just add the paragraph here one year later. I never thought this level of care was possible. The staff in its entirety is impeccable from the front desk to each and every assistant and doctor. Everyone here is so friendly. From the people at the front desk to the hygienists to the doctor. Also, my hygienist was super thorough. I came in feeling under the weather and they were so patient and friendly with me. This is why my husband and I keep coming back.

I went in for a teeth cleaning and had to wait a total of 2 hours from my scheduled appointment time (that I was 10 minutes early to).Once I was there, I was told I needed over $1,000 worth of work done (despite having no cavities) including 4 “deep cleanings” and 2 retainers. They made me feel bad about my (very healthy) teeth saying things like “wow your pretty teeth fooled me at first” and made me sit through a flossing lesson (I am 30 years old). Then after waiting almost 2 hours, I am casually informed that I am being numbed for a deep cleaning I did not ask for.I never write reviews, but I genuinely wish I didn’t waste my time or insurance money here, and I want other people to avoid the experience I had here. They clearly only care about up-selling and making money, at the expense of making their customers feel bad.

Great dentist! I really like the fact that they explain the concepts to you, and walk you through the x-rays and images. You actually understand whats happening, which is rare for a dental experience.

This place is a scam. They tried to tell me I needed 7 fillings and get me to start on the work the first day I came to get a clearing. I went elsewhere for a second opinion & learned I had 2 areas that should be addressed but we not urgent. Never coming back here & would not recommend. 2 friends had similar experiences. Stay away!

I just moved to LA and this was easily the best experience I’ve ever had at any dentist’s office. The check-in process was incredibly efficient, checking in on the computer opposed to filling out tedious paperwork. I barely had to wait before being called back. I was able to watch NETFLIX while in the chair. Everyone there was vibrant, informative, and empathetic. Great experience overall. If you’re looking for a new dentist, look no further!

Every time I visit Birdseye Dentistry I know that Im going to get the best service. They use latest technologies. Modern yet cozy atmosphere.P.S. You can always catch up on your favorite Netflix show while sitting in a dental chair!

I was terrified of my first root canal, and had heard horror stories about how miserable an experience it is. Told the doctor that I was a total wimp and she was very accommodating. Lovely staff, clean and modern office. Get your appointments now before shes too popular!

The place is clean and nice but it just didnt feel right every time I had something done. There was pain and discomfort on some teeth after treatments, the surface of crowns felt rough to touch, cement was left on crowns and one of the teeth even started to hurt after I received treatment on it. I eventually switched to another dentist and the new dentist told me the work done at Birdseye was not very great. My husband used to be a patient at Birdseye as well (he now goes somewhere else, different dentist from mine) and I just found out that he was told the exact same thing. The crown is too big, filling has a gap, etc. And both of us were told to have deep cleaning at Birdseye (we decided not to do it though) but we were both told that we didnt need it by new dentists. The communication between the doctor and the receptionists was not good either. I always had to explain things again and again to the doctor because she was not informed by the staff in advance.

I was blown away at my experience. Not only was the office beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, but everyone I encountered were kind, friendly and professional. This office is a game changer when it comes to dentistry, including the comfortable, massage dentist chairs, optional viewing or listening selections while getting your cleaning and a very thorough explanation of all procedures. I cant say enough great things about this practice!!! They have made an unpleasant experience a pleasant one and have you looking forward to your next appointment!! GAME CHANGER!!!!!

Brand new office, great facilities, and friendly staff. Even if youre not in the neighborhood, you might like the massage chairs and music, plus theres TV in the waiting room. And yes, I said massage chairs.

They will tell you you need unnecessary procedures and charges me $200 for cancellation. I’ve never in my life heard of a rate like that for cancellations.Absolutely dispicable.
