Small, clean, adequate. Love the herb (wet) sauna (mugwort? Dang gui? ). Wonder if these herbs are used in the hoo ha steam special. Not many places offer this healing treatment. For potential customers with Gyno issues this is worth checking out. I dont so I didnt. (But would have if I did. )Theres a clay room and hot and cold tubs. Appeared to be 4 scrub tables. Showers and traditional seated bathing. Lockers and a large lounging (on the floor) area. The web site mentions eggs for sale though no other food.Theyre in a strip mall. When I went (at night) there was valet parking due to the restaurant in the center. $2. There didnt appear to be any street parking (certainly not close by). I asked if it was always valet, the spa said only during (restaurant) busy hours, lunch and at night. Plan accordingly.

Came here after a camping trip with a friend for a much needed R&R. Change room was super clean and tidy (we came on a weekday) and lots of amenities in the resting area. My masseur was pretty good. Overall the massage was spot on, not too hard that my muscles were in pain or too soft from not enough pressure.

This is not a luxury spa if thats what youre looking for. Theyve done some nice remodeling over the years including the outside. This is your traditional Korean spa, women only, and youre give one robe and a towel. Its small with a heated floor area to lay down while you watch TV. There is one steam room, dry room, and a quiet dark room with herbs infused to sleep peacefully. Also, one cold and one hot pool. It doesnt feel suffocating by any means, and theres never too many people at a time that Ive seen. Ive been coming here for years, and it gets the job done. There is all the massages, facials, and scrubs available all day.Youre able to place an order for food from the Korean restaurant next door! There is a tiny parking lot with valet on weekends/night time. They are NOT a 24 hour spa so dont expect to sleep here for the night.

Had an amazing day Daengki WOMEN SPA! Service was great!! Everyone so nice just outstanding customer service!! I am in love with this spot! Only drawback is that sauna itself pretty small capacity only for 3 persons. Overall place is in high end lil bit pricey worth of shot.

A perfect place for a good sound body works! Lovely women here take good care of you. I do the Organic Scrub & Massage (2 hours) and wouldnt recommed coming all the way to this place for anything less. Then I give $20 tip. The best experience for $130 that cant be beat. And I spend a lot of time in Asia yet when I come to LA I cant wait to come here. Come before and use the saunas and spa. Stay afterwards for relaxing on the heated floor and enjoy no volume Korean TV and the peace and quiet atmosphere. Its a half day get away or a quick spa trip too, is available.

Let me start off saying the customer service here is great. The manager or owner was really polite and gave me a warm welcome and a quick rundown of how things work around the spa. Very clean and peaceful. And that’s where the list of pros end. I️ don’t advise any woman of color to go to this spa. I️ had no idea my race was such a problem at a Korean spa in LA in 2017. No one wanted to be near me. They’d all get up and walk out of the room. I️ was sitting in the steam room and a woman opened the door and literally gasped and slammed the door. Scornful glances every where I️ turned. The owner was the only one who showed any kindness. I️ stayed an hour before I️ ran to my locker got dressed then left in tears. I️ told the owner that the other women are having a hard time around a Black woman. If you have light skin I’m sure you’ll have a great time. If you’re a dark skinned Asian, Latina or black woman. DON’T bother coming here!

Visiting LA with my two daughters and thought to go to a spa. Very clean place with courteous staff. It’s not your oooh-la-la Beverly Hills spa but definitely relaxing and good service! I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a spa, scub and a relaxing time. Parking is right up front with valet availability. The pricing is reasonable too!

This place is a little pearl hidden in the outskirts of K-town. It is especially great for females that prefer a ladys only spa. The place is very small. There is a treatment room with an attached steam sauna. In the room, there is a hot pool to soak in with treatment tables lined on each side of the room. Additionally, there is a dry sauna room near to the lockers. I chose the Daengki special spa treatment package and it was worth the price (entrance is included in the package). It was very relaxing and I felt great afterwards. I felt truly pampered. What makes the spa special is the warm welcome, the personal attention, and the signature V-herbal Therapy that is supposed to be a remedy for menstrual cramps, bladder infections, kidney problems, and increase fertility. There are a couple of parking spots available in front of the store.

Wow...so I just wanted to write this to address the racist review given by someone named Nela O. So A) Yes, you can sleep in Korean spas--its part of the point, and if you missed that perhaps you need a primer in relaxation; B) EVERYONE SLEEPS, so Nelas review IS RACIST; C) Black and brown women are clean & any generalized opinion to the contrary IS RACIST. Great! Glad weve cleared all of that up bc I want to say that this spa is phenomenal, and totally worth the visit. Ive been to almost all of the women only ones in LA, and this place is a total gem and warmly welcomes all women of all body types. Always remember to properly hydrate & eat before going into the hot rooms:) Best of luck finding your oasis in LA!

This place is Ahh-mazing. I went in for a girls day with my friend, and we both got a scrub. The treatment was so lovely, but just know the scrub is a bit intense, and youll be totally naked. I have sensitive skin, and sometimes it was a bit intense, but nothing too much. My skin was very soft after and I truly felt refreshed. Highly recommend this place! You should make an appointment in advance for the services.

I went here back in January for the first time for a Vaginal steam with this location! I wont say it was the worst experience ever, but I will say it was by far the most disturbing. I was left on the extremely hot seat for 45 minutes with little to no conversation or care as to the processes. I smiled multiple times and say “hot” as everyone’s spoke in another language and didnt converse much with me (which was cool, I didn’t come to make a bff). Of course I conduced enough research, but it would have been helpful to feel supported in a place where sensitive services are performed, and where my hard earned money is spent. You get what you pay for, that $20 steam was every bit of valued at that! Venue was decent and clean, but the ladies aren’t friendly and the refreshments are pricey for such a “hole in the wall” experience.Maybe caring a bit more about your customers, being more hands on. I know running a business isn’t easy, that spa was packed. But first time experiences are what create a continuous customer! If all you want are the regulars, you’re on track. I can honestly say I’d never go back.
