I go to Zoie Roman over at Rock Paper and I love love love her so much she makes me look like a unicorn everytime I see her. I give her inspiration and she casts magick on my locks!! Shes the cutest babe ever too!! The salon is awesome, very cute and clean. I also love the products they carry and the location is in such a fun area!

It’s the prettiest salon I’ve ever been! They all super friendly and very patient to give advises to a first-timer bleacher like me. Their products are great and for a reasonable price too. The toner result turned out better than I expected. The most amazing salon with the most amazing hairdressers!! Wouldn’t recommend enough! They cater from young to old and every time I leave I feel like a new woman.

Jaime is a hair goddess! After years of bouncing around from salon to salon to find my hairstylist, I was ecstatic to have finally met Jaime(who I found on G+, by the way)! She always makes me feel so comfortable. Her haircut brings out my natural waves, which means that I was able to finally break up with my straightening iron. Also, her color is exquisite and it lasts for months. I always feel so confident leaving the salon after seeing Jaime, and the compliments that I receive on my hair are never ending. On top of everything, Jaime is by far one of the absolute sweetest girls that Ive ever met in my 6 years in LA. She is a true gem full of kindness and compassion. I HIGHLY recommend Jaime!

I got my hair cut here a year ago by jenn and, due to covid and other circumstances, havent had a hair cut since (i also no longer live in LA). however, this haircut not only looked good at the time but has also grown out SO WELL. obviously i didnt at the time ask for a pandemic-proof haircut, but pandemic-proof it has been. also, jenn was nice and the salon was super chill.

This salon is great. Very clean and organized. Very friendly and helpful staff that greet you the second you walk in the door and offer you something to drink. Ive seen Sylvia twice now, and Ive been happy with every cut. Plus shes lots of fun to talk to while shes cutting.

I recently moved here to LA so Ive been searching for a new hair salon, and read the excellent reviews about this place. Let me tell you... It definitely lives up to its reputation.I had Sunni, and she was just amazing! When I walked in she greeted me so sweetly and offered me a beverage.Now Im extremely picky when it comes to my hair, and this time I was completely redoing my look from long hair to an undercut style similar to Michael Pitts from Boardwalk Empire. Sunni freakin nailed it and then some! Good gawd, I have never loved a hairstyle so much as this one! I have gotten so many compliments on it already.Highly recommend this place! The staff was also super chill and nice too!

Love everything about this place right down to the gorgeous Pomeranian, Sammy, who roams around spreading good cheer. Jaime is lovely and very talented. I am finally in good hands with my spirited hair. And they only use organic products. And check out the amazing jeans store next door! Its like a little community when you come here.

Its so hard to find a great and affordable stylist. Especially when you are trying to grow out a pixie. Marissa at Rock Paper Salon is fantastic! Shes the only person I trust to cut my hair anymore. I always walk away loving my haircut.

Kings the best! Every time I get my hair cut/ styled by him, it feels soft and healthy again. Hes great at keeping conversations too, so Im never bored ( no awkward silences) 100% would recommend him!!!

Reception girl is so rude. Went in there and asked for advice and she said well I dont know, Im not a stylist I said well can I talk to one she rolled her eyes and nope, I never saw the stylist. You dont have to be so rude, Im a nice person you guys, just trying to get my hair done. Why is that so difficult? Plus absolutely no one was there except for me, why was I an inconvinience?

Got a haircut today from here. Was very nice and courteous. I walked over so, I didnt have to worry about parking.They take credit card and everything was quick and easy.I am quite pleased with my haircut and I will be going back.

I had my hair transformed by Kim. She took my heavy lifeless hair from boring to gorgeous with a smoky pink ombré and cut it to give it fullness and movement! Its so soft, still so shiny and absolutely my favorite hair I have ever had! Plus the staff was kind and so informative, they love the work they do and it shows. I feel so at home there, I love my hair and cannot wait to go back for my next project!

First impression, clean and inviting. Then, mimosa and awesome conversation with Jessica my stylist while deciding what to do. I had a previous stylist give me the most terrible looking balayage and Jessica completely turned it around and made me the happiest Ive ever been with my hair. (Which is shocking because Im very particular about how I like my hair) Im so glad I found a stylist I can happily return to. I only deducted a star for price, $350 is a little pricey for a cut and color to me.

Went here for a haircut yesterday. The front desk lady should probably not work in any type of customer service role. She was rude and unhelpful and I almost walked out. Im glad I didnt though because Marissa, my stylist, was awesome! She totally turned my experience at Rock Paper Salon around. She gave me a great haircut and we had a fun time chatting. I would give this place a 5 star if it wasnt for the awful front desk interaction. Seriously, she was miserable to deal with. I work in customer service too so I get how difficult it can be but if you cannot even muster one single F to greet the customer you should probably find a different job.

Jessica B and Jenn are the best so far that Ive been going to this salon for almost 4 yrs. Anytime I go to a different salon I tend to get a tragedy cut. These ladies save my hair when its butchered by other idiot stylist that shouldnt have a permit. Im very sad Jessica left but her good friend Jenn is amazing as well and has a sense of styling vision similar to Jessica. I went in with an idea and a couple of photos to show what I want and I come out super happy because they blow my mind on how beautiful they leave it. These women, if there was a way to show how much I appreciate their styling vision besides with this review and tips I would. Jenn please dont leave, Id be devastated. (^_^,) ❤

Anna is the BEST! I thought Id never switch from my old hair stylist that I drove to the valley for, but Anna truly has a gift for natural, beautiful color and a great cut.

Jaime is so fun and sweet. The whole shop is so warm and welcoming. I got an amazing plum colored ombre done and they all were so informative! They educate you without making you feel like you dont know your own hair. And Samy! The shop dog! The cutest lil baby ever!

Hi. I went to Dawn Reid and what happened was totally obscene. I had saw her twice before and she made a minor change that I Agee’s upon. This time I had let my hair grow 3 months w no cut and wanted long bangs and my hair shaped up. I was letting the undercuts grow out and wanted them shaped up. She decided to give me a short bowl head haircuts without asking and then when tears came she was totally rude. She was like you know what I’m going to just stop and get you out of here. I asked for a pic of what she had in mind first as she had and idea. She strait cut off my hair 2-3 inches! I wouldn’t have done that if I was paid. I would never go to Dawn Forsure and I am still to address this formally

Told me the coloring would be 40-60 get it done and they tell me it’s $125 i was blown away. lady then tries to tell me i told her that i only wanted a tiny patch... not even close to anything i said. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING RIPPED OFF.

I had been toying with the idea of getting bangs for about a year and I finally decided to pull the trigger. Rock Paper Salon is a couple blocks from where I live and they had great reviews online so I took a leap of faith and boy did it pay off! Pablo gave me exactly what I asked for based off of some reference photos; he was so easy to talk to and listened to what I wanted, and gave me some great referrals for curly hair products. He is a sweetheart. 0 regrets.
