I went to Atelier after a different salon made my hair look like an act of terror. Sky was my stylist and shes amazing. Not only did she fix my presentably hair, she turned it into something I absolutely love. Damson, one of the assistants, was also amazing. She attended to all my needs and did a fantastic job coloring my hair evenly. I will definitely be going back for all my hair needs.

I needed a quick trim, and this place was near my apartment, so I thought I would give it a try. It is really nice. The space is big and clean. The women were very nice and two of them blow dried my hair, which I have never had before. Overall, it was a nice haircut experience and I got exactly what I asked for.

The Kim Sun Young Hair & Beauty Salon is a magical find! Ive never had a person that I repetitively and solely see to do my hair so Ive never been attached to a salon either. On a whim, I walked in the other day and not only did they manage to make time for me that day, but I found the hair dresser that I want to do my hair next time and the time after that.Kim is excellent at what she does! She is super friendly and cute. She was incredibly helpful in suggesting what I should do with my hair to compliment me best. She did great work. Ive never had a better hair cut. I really enjoyed my experience and I will specifically be asking for Kim next time!

Kim Sun Young is a Korean style Hair and Beauty salon. They have many services but I come here every month or two for a simple Mens haircut.I always make an appointment with Christine so Im not sure how walk-ins work but Im sure they have options for that. Its a little more expensive but its definitely worth it for the consistent quality of service that you get.The process here is pretty simple but you should ask someone to show you how it works the first time. You arrive, greet the person at the front and who you have the appointment with. You then go to the back and put on the coat to protect your clothes. You can then have your hair shampooed and meet with your barber, they will cut your hair to how you want.I like coming here because the environment is pretty nice and lively. The barber Christine is very consistent and I can always expect to have a great hair cut each time which is the important thing for me.You can also buy hair products here, some of the same that the barbers use and the price is excellent.Overall, my experience with this place has been great and I highly recommend it.

I was referred by my roommate who had tried them out for a haircut. Both of us have very short hair, and short hair is tricky. Jane Oh was the lady who gave us our haircuts, and she is just amazing! I am a super stalker (lol)! My hairstylist Jun works here and I go where she goes. This salon is new trendy and clean. Its not a really huge space but they do have great spot. Cash only. Generally you can just walk in without any problems and have any hair stylist cut your hair but since I have a particular person that I always use I definitely make an appointment. She is normally booked a head of time.

Ive been to Kim for extensions about three times now and the first time was especially a life saver as I had a longer pixie and missed my hair so dearly. She somehow managed to put in 18 extensions and blend it into my natural hair with a killer cut to match - in short, she made a miracle happen when I was feeling desperate. I found her while I was working and living in Santa Monica and through my search found that she was the obvious choice in the larger LA area. She operates in a beautifully designed private space in the Salon Republic on second, is endlessly generous and very transparent, and most of all - is excellent at her craft. I recently moved back down to west LA after a short time in the Bay Area and am SO glad to have Kim back in my life! The consultation was a breeze, scheduling subsequent appointments were very easy and while she is super busy she manages to be incredibly accessible via call or text. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my extensions and am so glad to have found her! See you again in a couple of months Kim!

I’m giving my hair and hairstylist five stars because they were excellent! However, while I’m in love with my hair, it’s not what I asked for. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and while she seemed to understand I wanted highlights, I ended up with a fully different color and my usual dark and on fleek eyebrows! I showed my stylist that my new hairstyle wasn’t the one I wanted and she proceeded to give me layers while I asked for a long bob cut! At this point, all I could do was surrender all control and convince myself that what she was cutting was just hair and that it would grow back! I proceeded to the register and the lady asked for a whopping 280! This -I had a huge problem with -as my hair, for most that know me, is thinner than angel hair pasta! I was again having an internal conversation with my wallet and surrendered my Southwest credit card! Might as well get those miles!! -Anyways!! Overall, they get 5 stars for their hard work and efforts and so far a couple of people have asked for my colorist! Best of Thanks!

I got my hair cut today with Lisa. She is amazing! I gave picture of hairstyle Id love to get and she gave me exactly what I want. This is my third visit and I will definitely come back again.

I made an appointment for a blow dry and style and it was the worst experience ever. When I arrived they quickly sent me to wash my hair, then a guy starts to blow dry my hair with his hands making it puffy. He asked me what I wanted to do which was curls and even show him a photo which he went to show the stylist that was going to do my hair. He never used a brush while blow drying my hair. When he finished a woman came and did the styling. in 5 minutes. She was running from client to client and didnt say a word the 5 minites she was doing the style. Not even asked if I liked my hair. I was in shocked how a person can do curls in 5 minutes and say they are done. They barely talk English and they dont give the personalized treatment a person deserves when you make an appointment. I will never come back and recommend to stay away if you dont want to waste your money. STAY AWAY!!!!!

She was very knowledgeable about what would get me the best results and I felt like she was doing the best thing for what I wanted and for the health of my hair.
