I love the rec center. Ive tried other gyms because it is a bit pricey, but I keep coming back. I like the verity of things to do.

My friend planned a birthday party with an employee, it was supposed to be 2:15-4:15 we all get here and they have no reservation for the party! So here it is 3:00 and they finally allowed us to swim for an hour only and still wanted to charge her full price. All the kids had time for was to swim. No cake, no pizza, no locker rooms ex! Were thankful for the hour but will never plan a party here again!

Ive been there 3 times early in the morning and l liked it. Its quiet and relaxing.

Great place and good price! And with receipt you can go back the same day. That was great news.

I think maybe only hospitals are cleaner than the rec center. COVID precautions include: timed entry, staff constantly cleaning equipment, ample access to disinfectant and towels, and enforced mask requirement. I have been going there daily since they reopened and have not gotten sick.

Where do I start?I would like to give them more stars, but their child care is lacking in service times & they seem to have more classes geared towards age 50+ or class times are for people who can work from home and have more flexibility in their time.Much of their equipment needs to be updated and in some areas, the equipment is too close to the stairwell. Their bathrooms are not clean especially for those of us who have kids. They seem over staffed in some areas, and lacking in others.The only reason I give 2 starts is due to having kind employees and trainers.Once I see changes, Ill definitely give more stars.

How about if the Rec Center is closed, You put CLOSED on the website instead of Hours may differ; one is useful, one is useless and confusing.

Very clean facility! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rec center has reasonable prices (especially family passes) when considering there is a full weight gym, pool w/ slides, basketball courts and classes. Getting checked in is quick and parking is never a problem. I have paid for all kinds of gyms from 24 hr fitness, Lifetime Fitness and other rec centers. This place is by far the best value I have received.

Nice recreation center with heated pool with slides and a shallow area for younger persons as well as a lap pool, also a full gym with a running track, volleyball courts,basketball courts a challenging rock climbing wall, they also have a party room steam room and sauna vending machines, and they offer babysitting.

Nice courts, clean, the problem is when you need use the bathroom, is really nasty smell terrible, I hope you never need to use it, be prepered or go inside the REC center.

Unfortunately, the customer service at this place is absolutely horrible! There is no order or organization and the people behind the counter unfortunately are overweight and dont want to help? Why are we hiring people who are overweight at a health club that dont want to help people that work out? Dont waste your time you will leave this place more stressed out than you came if you were ever looking for any help!!!

Old creepy men are always either staring at me and my sister or recording us on their phones. The staff does nothing about it. Not a safe place for your daughter’s at all.

Went back for the first time since covid to the weight room. It seems pretty safe though not everyone follows the rules : mask and wiping equipment. So I wipe before and after use and stay far away from the maskless.

Love this place. The staff is exceptional and the pool is nearly pee free now that all those regrets have to make an appointment. Yehaa!!!Seriously, wonderful and feel blessed to be able to go there.

Although I have notified the front desk previously, there are still people exercising with masks off or half on. Ive yet to see any staff walking the floor, checking on adherence. The basketball courts, easily observable, are the worst offenders. That said, they do have staff who are sanitizing the equipment, which is spread out so youre not working out next to someone, except in the weight room.

I have been using the rec center for years, and I have always been happy with it. The facilities, the staff, the atmosphere are excellent. It is also very well maintained, with equipment being replaced often. Since Longmont is growing at a rapid clip, the facilities are becoming insufficient for the volume of people they serve (this is particularly noticeable in the pool and weight room). But that does not take anything from the overall experience.

This is a wonderful place for a good day of fun! They have a great variety of things to do each of them are always clean and well maintained. Great place to take a family for a swim, or a great place to get a good workout. Id definitely come again!

I love the fitness center. Its a world class facility. We are fortunate to have the Rec center here in Longmont.

I only utilized the pool, but the rest of the place looked impressive!! Beautiful gym, rock climbing wall. The lockers are big and clean and fantastic and open into the steam room and sauna!!! Absolutely love! Everything is well maintained always in working condition and up to par!!! The pool is so fun! Two huge slides that twist and drop. Me and my kids all have a blast. Great kiddie pool area shallow with small kiddie slide and fun fountains. Main pool with Lapp lanes a diving board and water basketball. There is even a lazy river. The pools are all heated too! Very comfortable and enjoyable. I absolutely love this rec center. I keep coming back.

I love the pool! They have water slides, a hot tub, a huge play area for kids, a lap pool, and a river area. Their classes both in the pool and out of it are awesome. I can’t wait until they open up again!

Great place to take the kids swimming. They have lifeguards so you can feel much more comfortable if youre not swimming with them. The depth of the water on the kiddie side goes from 0 feet to I believe 4 feet. My kids love it. It had a fun playground right in the middle and a very large slide for the big kids. The only thing better is the prices are incredibly low! Less than $5 per kid! Babies are free!

Great indoor kids pool open year round. Also indoor rock climbing. Many other rec activities but these two are fantastic for young kids.

Excelent spot . Friendly staff . 5 $/ day you cant beat that . Come and make a day outta of it . Or just come exercise before/after work . But the best part fir me its the steam room . The whole facility is do clean and well maintained.4 thumbs up .

Great place to go exercise. Facilities are always kept in great shape. I usually go 2 nights a week.

I would rate higher based on all of my previous experiences, but this was my first visit as a parent. The family friendly showers arent very toddler friendly because they blast a rough spray of water that is too loud for young ears and too intense for young skin. New, gentler shower heads can easily resolve this challenge. If I see this change, Ill update this post!

Well maintained and equipped facility. Appreciate a facility with a lazy river you can walk/jog/swim against when crowds arent an issue.

Tons of stuff to do.

If youre an adult who wants to swim, your only option is laps. The rest of the pool is too shallow for swimming, but great for kids who want to play. I dont know about any of the other facilities, because I just went there to watch my daughter swim. My low review is because of the manager. He screamed at another staff member at the front desk about me. Everyone around turned to look. It was humiliating. He called me a liar and said I was trying to cheat them. Right, I may be frugal, but I wouldnt lie-especially not for $5.75. But I will save my money and try a different facility. Id be too embarrassed to go back there any time soon.

This place is a great community place.The facilities were perfect.

There was one person there who was a little creepy if I do say so it was a very uncomfortable experience which the employed people did not make and better

Depends what you want out of this place. The sauna and steam room are cool and the pool area is nice. Cool slides and nice temperature pool, fun to hang out there. But the hot tub is not hot enough and the weight room is tiny. Really needs to be upgraded. Theres only 1 bench each for bench and incline bench. There isnt one shoulder press machine. Since theres so few machines its very hard to find open ones. Really frustrating trying to lift there. Cool its only $5 for a day pass but Ill be looking to workout somewhere else

Great facility, very clean & colorful. Kid pool has awesome water features. 2 giant slides, a lazy river, and then a separate lap pool with diving board. Locker rooms are well maintained & family changing area is nice.

Very nice and friendly facility. I wish the pool had more chairs on busier days. And it would be awesome if they mopped the family room from time to time. Overall, we enjoy coming here with our children.

This is my favorite place to train. This is my favorite place to train because my friends and family help support me. Also I get my repetitions done here, for my playmaking. My dream is to be in the NBA and Im willing to put in the work to achieve my dream. I couldnt do this if it wasnt for the rec center.

It was great! My sons birthday party turned out to be really fun.. The boys were running around loudly in the party room and since it was off to the side, nobody really heard them or was bothered by us. They had a blast! They also had a great time swimming. Only problem was no hot water for showers when we were there. Bummer!

I give the Longmont Rec center five stars. What a great place for people of all ages to get fit and have fun.I have traveled around the country for a year in my RV and have stopped at many local rec centers. Longmont takes the cake! Glad to be able to participate in Silver Sneakers classes and other fitness fun.Mary Anderson

This is an awesome place to unwind for a few hours - a lot to do, especially when they have the water park running.

Awesome place, especially for children. However, when it comes to working out, space is a bit claustrophobic. Wall to wall machines, tightly grouped & over-occupied, not enough lanes in the pool for exercise or room in lazy pool for workout either.I would like to like working out w/out feeling overwhelmed, but it is what it is & l am grateful Longmont has such a place. Good people on the front line, clean environment.

This is a fun family focused Recreation Center. The pool is wonderful and has activities for those young and old. I would be cautious of the lifeguards as some are young and not very careful. Specific dangerous incidents occurred and were reported to the manager and she reassured me that she would take care of the situation. That being said they are still young teenagers and some are distracted by their high school friends swimming in the pool.

Very nice employees. Swimming, basketball, volleyball, climbing wall and more. Dollar showers on Monday and Thursday from noon until 4.

With a family of six and three different locations and ice skating all involved in our membership each month! What a great deal and the view from the workout room is to die for! Get your buff on and look at the mountains at the same time! Something you can show up with with family from all ages and let them go and they will have fun for hours.🤙

Nice pool with activities for all ages. Good indoor court for volleyball and basket ball. Only downside is that it is almost always busy and can be hard to find a parking spot.

This is definitely a staple of Longmont life. Located next to the museum the Rec center is popular with all age groups.

Theyve got a lot of things here to keep you busy. And it is free if you have silver sneakers. It is clean and well laid-out.

Im a senior working fulltime so I dont qualify for Silver Sneakers but I do get a good discount for it. Just joined today. $68 For three months of unlimited visits!

Great place to go to swim in FECAL MATTER. Filthy pool. steam and sauna rooms with kids throwing footballs around is not my idea of a pleasant experience. Wont be back. Also, life guard classes going on with teens in thong bikinis around children is extremely inappropriate.

There are great things about Longmonts Rec Center. The pool area with slides, lazy river, lap pool and hot tub. Steam room and sauna, Bonus! Climbing wall, super cool. Friendly staff. Good selection of classes. All these great things are the reasons we need another facility. Basically the few negative things about this facility all come back to occupancy. The weight area is already small but then add the folks getting off work and trying to fit in a workout before the evening grind, and you have mayhem. Dirty locker rooms, mainly the family rooms, too many people for the custodian to keep up with. No parking.... again. We have a need greater than this one facility can meet. The fact that is not centrally located seems odd as well. But to end on a positive note... I always have the greatest time swimming with my grandson here. Pool is warm which helps kids not freak out when becoming familiar with the water.

I visited the pool with my kids. The family locker rooms were clean and well kept for the most part. The pool area is pretty large with the main pool, kids pool/play area, waterside, lazy river and hot tub. Overall its a great pool and we will be back.

If you like to make your kid learn swimming, this is one of the great places to go. The cost of the lessons is also less. It has other options like gym, play area etc.

My kids love to go swimming here there is a kiddie area and two water slides a nice spa only down fall of the spa is they allow the children play in it with out parent supervision there is also a wet sauna and a dry sauna... there is also a exercise area an area for baker ball and a nice little wall for the kids to climb A couple of foosball tables and a area for people to lounge! Very family friendly and all the employees are always nice

Facilities are nice, plenty of them. Pool sucks though. Too cold. Awful. Packed with too many people and no where to sit.. The hot tub is while nice, is absurdly tiny. Kids jumping in and out of it. Never will be back. Fredericks rec center pool is 100x better and thats not saying much.

Excellent facility. They have everything you need for fitness and family entertainment. It is full of life with children and adults enyoing all kind if activities like their amazing pool with a separate section for kids with water games, etc. Also an excellent climbing wall and the gym has everything you need including a walking platform. They even offer daycare! Were coming back for sure

Longmont Rec Center has a great selection of exercise, swimming and yoga classes that are included with membership. I dig the cycling class. To go along with 3 basketball courts, rock climbing wall, track, and weight room. Definitely a nice place.

Great Rec center with very friendly staff. Splash pool, lazy river, two slides, and a lap pool downstairs. The upstairs has a lot of cardio equipment and a running track. The two hours of free childcare is also great so that you can actually have some time to work out!

Great place! Always a lot of nice people! I like to shoot hoops, lift weights, walk laps, hot tub and go in the steam room! Really a nice rec center!

The main thing here is the pool. It consists of 4 main bodies of water, the kiddie pool (shallow pool for kids), the lazy river (pumps pushing around water in a circle, you dont have to move much), the diving/laps pool(Theres a spot with a basketball hoop, a section dedicated to the diving board, and some lanes for laps), and the spa. It also has 2 slides, a red/purple one and a blue one, the red one is bigger than the blue one and extends outside, the blue one is smaller and you go down pretty fast, each slide goes down into a part in the lazy river. The pool is pretty loud and you have to yell to talk to people standing right next to you.Theres a lot of stuff here, including an exercise station upstairs (I havent been there much), a court for volleyball and basketball, a rock climbing area, and much much more. Theres a lot of stuff here to check out, definitely recommend

My kids love it here. The indoor pool and water park is super fun. It has something that all my kids can enjoy.

Pretty awesome place, they provide towels for the pool, and even cool family showers/changing rooms. Not the biggest kid play area, but fun for a couple of hours. Highly recommended

We had my sons football banquet here. Large room that accommodated everyone nicely. The pool and rock wall were a hit with my kids!

Sooo great! With it being too hot outside, having the indoor water park to go to has been wonderful. Something for every age. We went two days in a row!

They were really accommodation to our needs and gave us a great price! No complaints here
