From the minute I walked in, the staff was so courteous, friendly and helpful. The tech that assisted with the MRI, was so respectful and thoughtful. Being an older woman, I’m very self continence of my body’s limitations and he made me feel at ease. He used techniques to assist me in getting in and out of the MRI machine without causing me pain. I’ve had this procedure before in other hospitals but hands down, this was the best experience so far. Thank you all for your amazing professionalism.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. Since then I have spent a lot of time in different front range hospitals. Longmont United is by far the best hospital. I have received imaging, surgery, and physical therapy at Longmont United. Scheduling was always quick and easy. The doctors are professional yet caring. And communication among doctors, hospital staff, and different departments was great. I spent 3 years fighting a very difficult battle, and Longmont United is the only hospital I felt like a could walk into and relax, because I knew I was going to receive the best care possible.

I never leave reviews, and I hate to leave a bad one, but my experience was definitely not the best. I gave birth to my precious baby girl in August here at Longmont United, and during my labor one of the nurses I had was not how I’d expect a nurse to be during this time. This nurse was basically absent majority of the time during the pushing process, so my mom and fiancé had to take on the duty of monitoring my contractions, telling me when to push, and for how long to push. Granted it took two hours before she finally came into the world, but it made me feel uncomfortable not having a medical professional being in the room as this is my first child and anything could have happened. At one point she was gone for over 20 minutes and my mom had gone out into the hall, and found this nurse sitting at one of the computers. When the baby was finally about to arrive (literally coming out) she had told me to hold my baby in to wait for the doctor to come, and said “I could deliver her but I doubt you would want me to.” I’m pretty certain due to that struggle my baby’s forehead ended up protruding and bruising (my baby came out face up).After the baby was born we tried to breast feed and it didn’t seem to be working (I was so exhausted) so I asked for some formula. She insisted on continuing to try and then asked me “Does it make you uncomfortable?” in a condescending tone…. She did however become a bit nicer before she switched out with another nurse. But because of that I really didn’t enjoy my experience, and I have decided to never go here again for any of my medical needs.On a positive note the doctor who delivered my baby was awesome, and the other nurses I had during my stay were very kind and helpful.

I was at the LUH Longmont hospital for my first baby birth in 2021. I went there with lot of anxiety and fear on how I can pull through this important milestone. Since the day I got admission to the hospital all my worries vanished. IT WAS AN AWESOME TEAM OF NURSING STAFF with great expertise in birth management. I couldnt have asked for a better nursing team for my labor. It still feels like a dream come true how I managed to go through such an enormous challenge. I kind of know the answer for it and the answer is LUH birth center care team. They didnt allow me to have a second thought on labor. It was all taken care very professionally and with empathy which is a great deal for first time mother.I want to pause and take a moment here to appreciate the great service delivered from entire birth center staff including floor nurse, supervisors, lactation support team, pediatrics. All I want to say about this group is WONDERFUL TEAM with lots of love and care. I didnt miss my family when LUH was there for me.Icing on top is the Cafeteria. They make awesome food that you dont want to miss!If I ever get a second kid, I know where to go!

I couldnt have asked for a better team for my endoscopy! From check in to going home I felt like everyone cared about me and my feelings. They made sure I was comfortable and understood what was going to be happening during the procedure. Dr. Elzinga is the best!! He always puts me at ease. He has the best bedside manner and his team is great also. Ready to answer any questions I had.

Dr Doyle and his entire staff were very attentive. They made sure that I was comfortable. They explained the procedure perfectly left nothing uncovered. They made sure to ask several times if I had any questions. Answered the questions I did have. Made me feel very calm and relaxed. I was in absolutely great hands. Amazing.

Longmont United Hospitals Birthplace is staffed with the kindest and most talented healthcare providers. We are so happy we went with LUH as our birthplace!!The care we received (and still are receiving, through the truly dedicated experts at the weekly Baby Weigh clinic & lactation line) during the birth and our postpartum stay, was exactly what we had hoped for. We feel a true personal connection to our care providers. I would say one provider we worked with (and are still working with!) stood out, but every single doctor, assistant, nurse, educator, and specialist is just wonderful.

The times I have gone to the infusion center at LUH for my Prolia injections I have always been treated very kindly by all the staff. I use my sense of humor when I am nervous and the staff seems to appreciate a patient that can not take life too seriously!

I’m incredibly grateful for the Longmont United NICU and doctors. When my water broke 6 weeks early with my first child, I was incredibly nervous. The nurses were so attentive explaining everything that was happening and doing their best to put me at ease physically and emotionally. Following the birth of my child, there was an over 3 week NICU stay. Not only were they incredible with my baby, but as a new mom, they also taught me tricks when it comes to feeding, bathing, diaper changing, etc. But the support didn’t stop there, after we were released from the hospital, they have breastfeeding and weigh in clinics to make sure to continue to support new moms and their babies. I love love love the team at Longmont United. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to every family expecting a baby.

Patrick and Gary were responsible for my MRI. They listened to my concerns about being slightly claustrophobic and made me very comfortable.My nurses, Zak, Mark, Kylee, Lauren and CNA Karen were attentive, explained procedures and answered my questions. Dr O’Neil and PA Ashley explained my conditions, follow ups and discharge.Thanks to all for helping me get answers and get me home!

I have always had horrible experiences with LUH. Except the couple of times I have seen Dr. Chavda. His bed side manner is amazing and he is extremely thorough when it comes to explaining what is gonna be done. And what has been down.

Most of the medical staff that I dealt with was kind and caring. I had a little bit of a hiccup in the ER with three failed attempts to get the IV in the vein, but then the charge nurse came in and got it done on the fourth try. Everyone I dealt with after I was admitted was wonderful

Once again I had the best care during my visit to Longmont United Hospital for surgery. The staff was super friendly, compassionate, professional and good at their jobs. I went to LUH to have an ECG done yesterday. I was taken back right away. I was a little nervous because I have never had one of these done before. The guy who did my ECG was awesome! He made me feel comfortable and calm. He was very personable and professional. I received my results within two hours after my procedure. The results went right to my email. I am very pleased with the tech, and how seamless the process was.

Communication with and from all was thorough, professional and warm. The interactions among all staff seems genuinely supportive and positive.... folks enjoy working there. My gastroenterologist and anesthesiologist both took time to introduce themselves, discuss and answer questions without my feeling rushed. Wound care -outpatientFrom the very beginning Suzanne was amazing. She was so nice and knowledgeable. She set the bar high for the women she worked with. I met Desiree and Jennifer for my appt. They were just as pleasant as Suzzane. They were great all the way around. I felt comfortable and trusted them with my care. My mind was put to ease once they looked at my wound and went over everything (how wound looked, proper care, next steps/appts, diet EVERYTHING). These women are fabulous!

The Provider and all of the staff are quite efficient and make me feel like they know what they’re doing. I have complete confidence in them.

This was my first ever surgery, it was for a vitrectomy. Dr. Kanoff and the entire staff were amazing. The procedure of surgery was well explained and alleviated any concerns I had. I highly recommend Dr Kanoff, The Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado, and The Longmont United Hospital should ever a need arise. They made a great team.

Been in and out the past few months and they keep saying nothing is wrong when I looked on the X-ray and my paper work it’s said I had a fractured hip but they never told me. They treated me very poorly here

We delivered our first baby here and it was an amazing experience. Kind, compassionate staff with the expertise and comfortable, clean rooms to make you feel more comfortable. They also offer a free breastfeeding clinic which was invaluable for me and my baby. The nurses who run the clinic have a ton of experience and followed up with me via text after each class. Truly felt like I had a team cheering me on during an otherwise challenging, new time. Recommend this hospital for parents to be.

Had an echocardiogram and the technician was the best I’ve ever had. He explained as he went and allowed me to ask questions. He was very helpful.

I went to Longmont United today for my 1st Covid vaccination and was made to feel relaxed and comfortable. The shot went great - I didn’t even feel it! They had a seamless process that was very efficient! And in a few weeks - I’ll be going back for #2!

I am so Grateful for the Centura Health staff, Thank you! From arriving to the Emergency room June 30th until my procedure to remove Kidney Stones today, I received excellent care at every turn. The compassionate experienced treatment I received was 5 star without a doubt. I can not compliment the care that I received enough, an incredibly painful and difficult medical issue was taken care of so swiftly the day I arrived to the ER. My 2 night stay, aftercare since released and the procedure I had this morning was another amazing experience with the staff. The gentle, kind and understanding care from the nurses, Drs and all made the difference during this horrible experience. Thank you for taking such great care of me.

My first experience with this hospital but lots of experience at various hospitals in both CO and AL with family members. I was in good competent and caring hands with Dr. Doyle. I was really impressed with the excellent patient-centered care practices. It reminded me of the old days where medical professionals really took pride in taking care of their patients. As far as improvement, I was asked if I wanted a next day follow-up call, but I did not get one.

I birthed here via the CU Center for Midwifery located in Longmont in April. There are several different hospitals that are closer to me as I live in Thornton but we chose this one since my midwives worked there.I had nothing short of a great experience here. The pediatrician on call was fantastic. Our daughter had jaundice which was a tough experience and all of the staff helped us move forward. Specifically Nurse Kayleigh. She got us through the 24 hours of bili lights. We are so thankful!

Always, every moment, knew exactly what was going on with the surgery. The nurses were so knowledgeable and brought great comfort to me.

It was reliving that Dr. Elzinga was extremely knowledgeable about my history. He was very kind and went through everything with me and allowed me to ask questions. I never once felt like it was bothersome for him or his staff. I suffer from ptsd and he and his staff treated me with extreme care. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I had been dreading it for over a week. Actually being there and talking with everyone before the procedure was the first time Id felt at ease about it all. My Sister in law went to your hospital to the emergency wait three hrs before the Dr could see here. And at the end of the day he was unable to get help here. She is has been have hemiplegic migraine seizures 8 just today. The medication that was given to her was not working. She had been hospitalized twice before in this past week. This is when she found out she has this. The reason she went back today was because she was called by someone at the hospital and was told to come in because she shouldnt be having this many seizures. They were afraid she may have a stroke, or heart attack. Do you not have experienced Dr.s in the er? Very upset person who watches a person that I love like a sister suffer.

Good experience despite the procedure. Staff all very personable and professional. Providing clear communication , and open for questions throughout the stay.

I was glad that this was a fast visit for my ultrasound. I broke my leg and was hoping I would not have to go for more tests after the doctor like I did the day before. My ultrasound tech was super gentle knowing that I had broken bones and the test and the wait were all done quickly.

Most recent was a procedure in Day Surgery and my experience was excellent. Last Saturday, I received my second Vivid vaccination. The experience was excellent. The set up used was courteous and efficient. Cant ask for more!

I went to Longmont United Hospital a few days ago for my Covid vaccine. All the volunteers and medical staff were very pleasant and made my visit an easy process. Nurse Jennifer administered my vaccine. I was a bit nervous and a little scared but, she was caring and compassionate. She shared with me relevant information thoroughly and quickly put my mind at ease. I was lucky to have chosen Longmont United. Thank you for a painless and great experience.

Three years ago I had a biopsy here. When I told the physician I didn’t want any more tests or procedures, she got in my face and yelled at me. I’ve never felt so demeaned in my life. I later found out the nurse tried to talk my friend in to forming an alliance with her so I would agree to doing things I wasn’t comfortable with. I’m also tired of the pat answer responses to these reviews that are truly not from the heart. I am not a statistic. Nor do I choose to be a part of this hospitals ‘standard of care’. I would never recommend Longmont United Hospital to anybody I am very unsanitary very disgusting uncompassionate they have no willing to help and go the extra mile to make their patients feel comfortable! I took some pictures and videos to show that I have no reason to lie about how unsanitary it is on my dad

Charles Sloan is my wound care doctor. I can’t express how hard my journey has been dealing with a rare disease called PAN (Polyarteritis Nadosa) and in my case it’s affecting my skin on my lower legs. It’s not easy to get help with this because it’s not largely known about and not a ton of information or studies have been done. I’ve struggled to find someone to help get my legs healed up so that I can continue to live a halfway normal life. Charles has been INCREDIBLE! He studied up on my case and since starting his recommended treatment my legs have healed up more in 3 weeks than the last 2 years! He’s knowledgeable and kind. I have seen wound care before, but never have I been treated so well. He gave me a diet to stick to, a bandaging routine to follow (AND bandaging materials-they get expensive trust me!) If you need help with anything related to wound care please take my advice and see him. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

The staff was very professional and very cautious with safety procedures concerning covid 19. The staff yesterday was also awesome. I would definitely recommend them. I would give the whole staff a 5 star!!

I was extremely anxious about having this procedure and everyone , from the check-in staff, to the nurses (Carly & Heidi) to the circulating nurse (Brandon) and nurse anesthetist (Tara) all made me feel comfortable, secure and taken care of. All my questions and concerns were addressed and the surgery went smoothly. Recovery was quick and discharge was efficient as well.

I had my daughter at LUH during the pandemic and could not have been in better hands!! We adore the staff at the birth place and have received so much help and support from the lactation clinic!! They are so eager to answer questions and offer support any way they can!

Beyond amazing. Went to longs peak UC health emergency due to something being stuck in my foot. They turned me away and said “it would work itself out”Next morning DR leanord got me in right away AND preformed surgery to fix my foot that same day!! Every staff member and health care worker who assisted in helping was so helpful and amazing..

The Cardiac cath lab at Longmont United Hospital has an amazing staff. I was taken care of like I was the only important person there and I definitely wasn’t. My doctor We have followed for 30 years and would recommend him to anyone in cardiac need.

Went in today to get my covid vaccine and everyone I talked with was pleasant and clearly explained the process. The nurse that administered the vaccine was friendly and again shared the information clearly. It was a quick and painless process! Every experience I’ve had at Longmont United has been a great one! I had a tremendously exceptional experience at LUH last November. I gave birth to my son at the birthplace and couldnt be more grateful to the nurses and doctors who took care of us during this special time in our lives. The care was top-notch and they were all so kind and helpful. Our delivery/maternity room was BIG, the couch/pullout bed for my 63 husband was (dare I say comfy?), and our space was kept very clean for the duration of our stay. Every nurse took the time to make sure we were doing well, offer advice when requested, and treat us like royalty. I would 100% recommend the birthplace to any expecting family. 💛

Went to the hospital via ambulance it was a very scary experience as I had no clue what was going on. By the time I was being signed out I was amazed with all the staff. Thanks guys

Ive had a wonderful experience at Longmont Clinic Therapy. Jodi has been so professional, kind, understanding and sympathetic to my situation. The therapy is going very well and I feel she has gone above and beyond to get movement back in my arm. I would recommend her to anyone who needs her expertise.

We had the most wonderful experience at the Birth Place at Longmont United Hospital. We had our daughter on Christmas Eve. The hospital was festive and the staff could not have been nicer. We felt entirely taken care of and yet had our privacy and time to enjoy our new daughter peacefully. We were confident in all medical care for both mom and baby. Every staff member who passed through our door was kind, helpful and encouraging. When we were discharged, we were sent home with a full meal, a stuffed animal for our baby and one for her older sister at home. The on-going support from the hospital was incredible too. The lactation clinic offered was very helpful. Even though this was my second baby it was so nice to have the support of the nurses, lactation specialists and other moms. I would highly recommend the Birth Place at Longmont United Hospital. We truly had a wonderful experience. The facility is clean and the staff is exceptionally caring and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Dr. Weeks was very patient with my questions and gave thorough explanations. I highly recommend her.

I just had hernia surgery. The pre-surgery planning and follow ups were comprehensive. The pre-op was well paced and organized. Dr. Pyro and Dr. Levy insured I was well informed and did a great job. I was up and walking very quickly withe very little pain even after 3 hours. Additional thanks to all the nurses who made sure I was comfortable, namely Christina and Kim. There were others but those are the only names I remember. Thank you all so much.

Everything was very professionally set up. When we got there we were already pre-registered. After checking in with the front desk we were taken back to where they were giving the shots. We got in right away, got our shots, sat and waited for 15 minutes after the shot and then we left. Very easy experience.

Dr Peter Schmid was very considerate of my needs and made sure that my needs were met. He is an extremely proficient surgeon whose performance has no parallel. I feel fortunate that I was under his care.

We delivered our 1st child here. Delivery and birth went smoothly, nurses were wonderful. The free lactation clinic and the access to text Nurse Kim with any breastfeeding questions has been incredibly helpful. My only issue was my doctor ordered a growth scan when there was a concern with babies growth, and it was done inaccurately at the hospital which did cause some panic and costly bills. I did go see a fetal specialist at Foothills, and they confirmed all was healthy with the baby and no need to induce labor early. Overall very happy with delivery but for any complications I will seek out a specialist.

Very friendly! The volunteers were very welcoming and very friendly when I came in for my Covid Vaccines. The nurse was Very calm and friendly! 🙂 Thank you for making the vaccine process easy and quick! Oh and thank you for the smoothies afterwards!! 🙂

I have been having spinal pain and spasms, for years, until it got so bad I had to go to an ER 12/14/20. After MRI showed the problem and a treatment plan put in place. I have now been given my 2nd epidural injection and its been so much help, pain isnt gone but wow what a difference. Im always treated with care and kindness at check in and through the appointment by every team member, from reception, nurses, and Drs. 😊I now have surgery scheduled for my neck, and I know they will take great care of me during and after my surgery. And again when I get my lumbar surgery. The Covid-19 procedure are followed thoroughly.

Dr. Doyle is the GI I’ve been looking for for a long time. Awesome bedside manner, reassuring, caring, informative, and really listens. Very thankful to have found him!
