They are wonderful! Dr. Pete, Debbie, Leah, Dana, Emily, Shelley, Toni! Everyone is spectacular, I would recommend them to anyone.One note, I would just want more transparency in some of the cost. Perhaps a written brake down of what costs are expected. And which days they are expected on. I find myself asking more about it, then them telling me, or saying, “We will see you in two months for that root canal and expect the cost to be approximately $x dollars.”

Had to change dentists after 20+ years recently. Quite frankly, my old dentist was fantastic years ago and went out of his way to help until they joined some type of ‘dental group,’ and hired contractor hygienists who acted like they were in a hurry on every visit. It seemed every visit was turning into dollar signs in the dentists eyes. The final straw was my husband’s regular cleaning appointment where there was no dentist to check teeth after the cleaning at all, but of course they turned the visit into insurance like it was a regular Dental visit! Enter Mertz Family Dentistry who provided a fully explained and detailed dental visit and fixed a small issue without the complete replacement recommended by the previous dentist. The staff at Mertz Family Dentistry are friendly, extremely informative, and thorough. I am SO glad to have them as my family’s new dental professionals!

I had 2 fillings done today, and Dr Pete used laser. So no injections, or numbness. I was a bit nervous and when he put a plastic thingie in my mouth it was a bit hard to breathe, and I had the urge to swallow, but the whole procedure was painless. I think I like laser better than the “old” way.

I went in to have teeth cleaned and a checkup after the Covid-19 thing. I am a terrible wimp about dental work and they always make me very comfortable. As usual everyone is wonderful, professional, friendly and good at what they do. Top of the line start to finish. A special shout out to Valeri. She is the best hygienist ever. All of these people really are the best.

As a self-diagnosed dentalphobe, I honestly can’t believe I’m writing a review of a dentist’s office, but Mertz Family Dentistry is the best. After my dentist of 20 years retired last summer, my wife searched for a new dentist for us, preferring someone local. I had my first visit with Mertz Family Dentistry last week, a routine cleaning and check-up. My former dentist was an old-school, one-man shop, which is not to diminish him in any way because he was very good. I was pleasantly surprised with Mertz services, facility, and operations. I really am not a fan of the dentist. So much so that it had been a bit of time since I had last seen one. The folks at Mertz were truly awesome. Not only did they not make me feel guilty (or call my mom to tell on me), but they made me feel completely comfortable and question why I had waited so long.If you are dentist adverse, these are the folks for you!

The evaluation was correct, I needed some fillings that were taken care of quickly and the work is quite nice.I had the same dentist for 40 years until he retired. When he gave novacaine shots I didn’t feel them. He timed topical, then small amount of the shot, then came back for the final shot.The dentists at Mertz are not that good about giving shots. Hopefully I won’t need more dental work, but if I do, I will request a different dentist.

Hello all those seeking dental care. I, and my family, have been going to Mertz Family Dental for at least 24 years. From regular cleanings (with Amber) to crowns, face plant accident, recommendation for gum graft (which I did), to today’s fun adventure having three 50 year old amalgam fillings replaced.All the staff is simply wonderful❣️Covid practices are in place with some new technology to keep fugitive droplets down. I’m 64 and I felt safe and know everyone at Mertz is doing their very best to keep us and themselves safe. Masks are required up until the time you need to unclothe your face.Wear a mask there, wear a mask everywhere...My “whips” are still numb!🦷💃🏽🦷💃🏽
