I have been using the counseling services with Stacy Rouse throughout the Covid19 pandemic. The office staff, in particular Audrey, were wonderful and helped guide me to the appropriate services. She got me in touch with Sondra who has provided me with a safe space to discuss my concerns. Even though I was not able to see her in person, she made for a safe and non judgmental environment. I also attended one group session online. I was unsure how that would work since we were all online and in different locations, some even in different states. I enjoyed that experience and they were able to ensure that we received all the materials necessary prior to the start of group. I would highly recommend Stacy Rouse Counseling to anyone looking for a new counselor.

I had a preliminary appointment with a therapist about a month ago.Due to scheduling reasons, I haven’t been able to see her again despite her confirming a slotted time with me that would work. Since that initial appointment, I have had to HOUND them constantly to get an additional appointment. The receptionist isn’t kind in the least.For someone with a dehabilitating mental illness, I can only imagine how disheartening this process would be for them. I’m less bothered by my symptoms, but I shouldn’t have to call them multiple times in a week to get a call back.All the way around disappointed, because I liked the therapist I initially spoke with.Edit; still not a fan of the receptionist, but the office manager, Audrey, went above and beyond to fix the mistakes involved with my scheduling. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and swiftness of the resolution, but it did take posting this negative review for that to happen. Again, people needing immediate assistance with intense mental health issues would likely not have the resolve to adequately handle this situation.

Unbelievable that Ive called 5 times in 5 days for help for my daughter. Ive gotten NO response. One time, they tried to transfer me to someone else and cut off the phone and never called back, so 15 minutes later I called and they were too busy to talk to me. Nobody has made even one attempt to return any of my other calls. This is not counseling, it causes more stress!!! Horrible way to do business.EDIT: Yes the practice manager did take my call finally and has been talking with me on options, thank you. I just suggest the initial connection be smoother for clients, but am appreciative of finally making that connection.

My kids have been seeing Nick for about 8 months now. We have a very difficult situation and have seen several different counselors, until we found Nick my kids have really bonded with him and trust him which we never found with our other counselors. He listens and never judges, he is honest with them but also builds them up. I dont know where my kids would be without the help Nick has provided them. I would highly recommend this counseling group.

My therapist missed appointments regularly and the counselling was not very good.

I wanted to share my experience my daughter goes to this place and I have nothing but great things to say about that experience unfortunately my son is seeing Nick one of the therapist there At first the experience was great and I had really high expectations. as well i felt everything was going well. Over time I started having my concerns every time that I would recommend something he did not lissen to my recommendations. I wasnt too concerned about that as the situation that were in is very complicated and I understand that he is a professional I wanted to give him as much space as possible to do his job. the experience that I had the other day with him attending a family meeting that was ordered by the cout was one of the most insulting and unprofessional Experiences Ive ever had with a therapist Hes spent more time undermining and concerns about me as a father then being constructive in helping and a planing for helping my son.. Left the things that he was saying were based upon notes that he may have taken with sessions with my son they have very little to do with fact Considering that he has never been to my home it was completely unnecessary for him to be saying things when he doesnt know of the facts in front of regulators That could have the detrimental effect on my sons ability to be living with his father. I understand that he has concerns I know that if he feels like a situation where someone is to harm somebody else are themselves he has to report it but this was nothing like that it was a complete non factual attack on me personally. Most of way he was mentioning was not true and I find this Very unacceptable and unprofessional whatever feelings he may have about me has nothing to do with his ability to treat my son. I would not recommend him to anybody and be very cautious about his ability to treat children your kids.
