Dont bother booking with Kierra if you:1. Want someone who will listen to what you say. She asked me the same question two different times and responded to something I said in a way that made no sense because she was listening to another stylists conversation while I was talking2. Have thick or curly hair. She washed it, trimmed it, put product in my hair and diffused it a little. Then she combed my hair after diffusing it so that she could use her thinning shears. The sheers kept getting caught on my hair because she was taking sections of hair that were too thick for her shears. After thinning it, she added more product and started diffusing my hair again. The hair that was thinned kept coming out of my hair as she diffused it the second time. Its still coming out now after leaving.I left unhappy with my hair looking like I just rolled out of bed. Its frizzy as hell and looks terrible. They were kind when I left unhappy and offered for me to not pay for it, and they definitely wanted to make it right. This stylist seemed very inexperienced with long thick curly hair and did a poor job at managing a 4 inch trim and thinning it out. It was a very basic ask. Low expectations were not even close to being met today.Edit: 20 minutes after I left, as my hair continued to dry, the thinned bits were all over my car, desk and clothing. This is what came out from a few shakes of my hair once it dried. She did offer to shampoo it before I left when I told her this was going happen with how she was cutting it, but at this point I was done watching her struggle. The customer should not have to tell the professional they are leaving a mess of hair tangled up in product while she is styling it. This was the worst experience Ive had in 25 years.

Mikayla did such an amazing job! My hair is dark brown and people have a hard time getting it to blonde. She had no issue. I left the salon with EXACTLY what I wanted. Not only is she super talented with hair, but she is so sweet and I enjoyed talking with her.

I haven’t done anything with my hair for over a year and I finally booked an appointment with Sarah the owner and oh my gosh… I have never had such a good experience at a salon! She was so sweet and friendly💛 the cut she gave me was perfect! The head massage was amazing and well! I loved it so much i booked another appointment for next week to get my hair colored:) I will absolutely keep going to studio 170 and would recommend it to any of my friends and family

This is an Aveda Salon and I am pleased to have found Studio 170 after a disaster at another salon for my hair and my nails!

Poor customer service and there are definitely countless salons with better quality and better customer service. I wanted to give them a try and they gave up a 2 hr and 45 minute hair appointment slot because I walked in at 9:09 am so they were already moving on to forfeiting it due to there ten minute late policy- ALL fine except that being the greeting as a first time client, who, while I respect the importance of being on time, was baffled the greeting wasn’t more on the lines of, “Hello! We’re so glad you made it! Would you be okay if we adjust or modify your services to ensure you’re done at 11:45?” Since I am used to things EVERY other time elsewhere where taking no more than 2 hrs 30 minutes, of course I would’ve seen that as reasonable. The way they do the online booking, it wasn’t like I decided on the time anyway. The haircuts I get are basic and fast, but it doesn’t ask that, nor did they. At least fit in the hair cut & schedule color another day. I just think it’s too bad in a world of Many choices of salons, this is how they chose to proceed. Think of all the times you’ve been 5-10 minutes late for an appointment like this. Yes, I do respect stylists and their time and would never want to make the next client wait on my behalf.The fact that they then admitted they filled the spot with someone else made it clear they didn’t care. So I hope that person fit right into that spot and made them Lots more money because apparently I couldn’t be fit anymore, nor did they see the value in someone getting a color service, which could mean a regular client.Weirdest customer service experience ever. Losing a potential first time client of almost ALL of their services over a ten minute late policy that they were not informed about? This is not downtown Salt Lake City or Hollywood, it’s Logan, for Pete’s sake. Don’t fall for the easy online booking because if you are running 5 minutes late (or standing outside on an important phone call because you don’t want to be rude and walk into the salon while on the phone…) you won’t have a way to call them and actually talk to someone Or leave a message, while driving. So they’ll not even bother to call YOU, they’ll just start seeing if they can fill your spot before the ten minute mark.

Oh my gosh I can’t rave enough about this salon and their staff. Sarah was so precise and took the time to make my blonde exactly how I wanted it and the extensions matched perfectly. Not only was my hair flawless but she was so personable and kind and made me feel like the most important person in the room. And let’s not underestimate the power of an essential oil massage. It was a heavenly experience.

I had not used this salon before but thought it would be a nice relaxing treat to have a post Covid-19 hair cut and pedicure. It dawned on me the day of my appointment that I had not asked about their vaccine/mask policy (which I should have done, but it just didnt occur to me that a spa wouldnt have a covid policy in place) so I called to see what it was. The person answering the phone was offended by my questions, said she didnt know if her stylists had their shots (which I can understand from a work place/employee rights point of view), I asked if she would mind asking the person I was going to see if they had their vaccine .... she did but was irritated by the request and that individual had not had the vaccine. She made it apparent that wearing a mask was not going to be a reasonable request so I canceled my appointment. At this point her tone became even ruder and she said I owed her a $35.00 cancelation fee....which may be their policy but I was unaware of it....I would have considered the fee if she hadnt been so rude OR if the spa had considered reasonable safety precautions. Next time try being polite on the phone

Stephanie Connor did an excellent job. Right from the start she was on time and super friendly. But most of all she has skills! She did an amazing job on my hair. There was absolutely no brass on my blonde which is a miracle for my dark hair and she did it without much extra damage. She did an awesome haircut to help with previous damage and did a perfect blow out. Definitely coming back 🙌🏼

I love my girl Alyssa, she is amazing with my lashes and hair, I will up my rating to a 5 if they put a counter back for the receptionist, its a bit awkward when walking in now with the setup they have in the front but all the girls there are amazing!!!

I had two services done in the same day at this salon. The massage was outstanding and I give it 5+ stars! The receptionist and the masseuse were kind and professional. I felt very welcome and loved that experience! I recommend their massages!I had the worst haircut of my life right after and give the hair cuts at the salon 2 stars. The girl that cut my hair made me feel unwelcome and like she would rather be doing anything else. She continuously looked at the other barbers talking and was trying to hear them. She didnt do what I asked (just an easy 2 inch trim) and told me I had thin, damaged hair. I was very unimpressed with the quality of the cut and I should have asked for her to do what I asked, but she made me feel so unwelcome that I gave her a very undeserved tip and left. I recommend anywhere else for a haircut in the Valley for better quality at a better price.Their massages are wonderful and I loved the quality! The haircuts are not good from my experience, but there is a chance it was only this specific stylist.

When I went to Studio 170, Sarah was my stylist. Not only did she make the whole experience awesome, but she did an excellent job! I am so in love with my hair. One of the best parts for me was the neck massage with essential oil. It felt AMAZING! Another part I loved was with every product that was used in my hair, Sarah told me about the product, how to use it, and the benefits. She even made a list of all the products so I could buy the ones I liked. I definitely will be going back and highly recommend Studio 170!

I absolutely love this salon. Sarah has done my hair for years and not only is she extremely talented but the entire experience from start to finish in this salon is awesome. The receptionists couldn’t be any more friendly, and quick to serve. The staff always makes sure you are comfortable, asks if you would like a beverage or need anything at all. I have Around a type 2-3 curl, and wanted m hair cut pretty short. I went to Stephanie for a Curl Enhancing Cut for only $45 and left totally thrilled. She new exactly what she was doing and executed exactly what I wanted done in a quick amount of time! The shampoo/condition and scalp massage was also insanely relaxing!!!

Took my daughter in for a new look and she loves her new hairstyle! Sarah Hernandez - the person who cut her hair did such a good job. Everything looked clean, professional and they had a big selection of hair products. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Heather did a great job with my massage. I have been battling severe back pain for weeks. Several visits to doctors and physical therapists produced minimal results. The day of and at least one day after my massage I have had A LOT of relief from my pain.

Did not receive the color I wanted, much much too expensive for the quality of the hair coloring. Needless to say everyone was very kind and had great costumer service. The hair coloring simply wasnt what I wanted and was over priced. Asked for dirty blonde and gave me dark brown hair.

The salon was very clean and a relaxing atmosphere. Taysia was incredibly personable and did an outstanding job with my haircut and style for such a reasonable price.

Customer service was amazing, and the staff that works there were very nice and made sure my experience was exactly what I wanted. It was my first time getting a professional massage, my back was killing me being a student athlete constantly working. But Heather made my body feel brand new, I will definitely go back and get my body revived again soon!

I have short/thin hair and she is able to give me body and length with adding extensions. She does such a good job everyone is shocked to learn I have a few extensions. Sarah did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I loved it! She is just gifted when it comes to hair and makeup!Nicole Thain has been doing my nails for years. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my nails. She always does an amazing job and nails what I want every time! Nicole does a fantastic job and I always leave pleased. It takes talent to paint things on such a small surface area.

Walking into studio 170 was the best decision I could have ever made. I had a terrible depression dread knot in the back of my hair and was denied by multiple other salons even an attempt to work on it vs cutting all my hair off. But all The girls at 170 were so incredibly supportive and friendly, immediately setting to work determined to do whatever they could to save my hair. While the entire staff is wonderful, a HUGE thank you goes to Autumn and Rylie for amount of effort and dedication they put into making me feel beautiful again. I cant thank you enough 🖤

Best haircut Ive ever had outside of my parents home. My mother is a cosmetologist and you can definitely tell these girl know what theyre doing. They take the time to tailor your haircut to your head shape and face. Honestly I cant rave enough about how good of a haircut this is! My wife keeps freezing out about it. Thank you!!!

My hair hasn’t looked this good in years thanks to Stephanie Connor. She is fast, friendly, and talented. We had a time crunch and she was able to get what I needed done with enough time to still wash my hair including scalp massage and then blow dry my hair out. I’m so happy with my results.

The massage therapist was amazing! She was very talented.However the receptionist misled me on what I was getting when I set up the appointment over the phone, even though I had informed her of the gift card I had in my possession and what I was expecting with the massage. I was highly disappointed with with her thorough lack of communication and willingness to make it right in the end at the appointment. It caused an undue amount of stress in a time that shouldnt have been stressful.I would give the receptionist a 0 or 1 and the massage therapist an 8 or 9. Thank you.

Great place for facials and waxing. Whitney waxed my eyebrows better than anyone else has before and got the shape right! I loved the service so much I booked a facial for a few weeks later.

The ambience and staff were great and Amber who is no longer there did a great color and cut. It was a new salon after mine retired from hair to do only facials. Amber was very sweet and skilled at the same time.

Bobbie does the best job on lashes in town. Shes quick and so wonderful to visit with! It makes the time go so much quicker when you are able to have a lively conversation with your friend and thats what she is to her customers!

I got my eyelashes lifted and tinted and she over processed them causing them to fall off and over curl, my eyelashes are now shorter and look even shorter due to the terrible curl. The lady was very nice and just wanted a dramatic difference and over processed me

After 4 years of debating, I decided to cut my hair into a pixie cut. I had just moved to Logan, and I was in need of a good salon to take this leap. I was very impressed with the service I received at Studio 170. I contacted the owner who got me in touch with a stylist right away. My stylist was very good about listening to my concerns and talked about what pixie would make the best style for me. The environment was great and everyone was very friendly. Bonus for my stylist who stayed later to cut my hair! I cant speak for their other services, but I was very satisfied with my haircut.
