Very unhappy with this organization, I do not recommend. Its all about the money and not about community.

Terrible. Very elitist. It’s all about who you know. God forbid you are new to town and try to get placed on a Spirit team, you’re out of luck! The teams are all already filled before registration begins. They say they’ll try to place you in a team but you’ll get stonewalled unless you know someone. Your kids will be relegated to the Rec league with a coach that knows little and zero chance to have real skill development for your child.YMCA needs to step up their game to be more inclusive in the spirit league. So many similar complaints from other families when I mentioned our troubles.

Instead of addressing and fixing issues inside their organization, they go to great lengths to defend and excuse employees, no matter how egregious their actions. They victim blame and contribute to a abusive and bullying atmosphere at their facilities.
