Y’all, Kaitlin is amazing. I did my research on every stylist at this facility and felt like Kaitlin fit me the best and she did not disappoint. She understands the meaning of micro in a micro haircut which is very important to me. She’s got a quiet voice, a calm demeanor and she’s focused… which is also an important trait to have for me to trust you with my hair. I like my side part with a voluminous flip at the top and when styling my hair she nailed it. I was very happy with my haircut and enjoyed laughing with her during my eyebrow wax. Definitely a returning customer.

I love going here! I think more places should have gender neutral pricing like Sisu does. The atmosphere is great, and I have always enjoyed my experience.

Bay did an amazing job on my hair! This was my first curly cut, so I was not set on a specific shape and was not sure what to expect. Bay was very realistic and helpful in finding a shape and style that works for my hair. She was also really helpful with answering all of my questions about products and I had a lot of questions as I am new to embracing my natural curls. My hair looks fantastic and has all the volume I was previously lacking. I love it so much! I can’t help but look at my hair in every reflective surface I pass!

Diana was great, she was recommended by family, and definitely do not regret going to her. Id never been to an actual salon before, so walking in the first time was pretty intimidating, especially as a dude! I have seen Diana at Sisu a couple of times now for a balayage, cut, and toning. I have very dark brown hair and my goal is to lighten as much as possible. I appreciate very much that Diana cares about getting my hair where I want it but also not cause too much damage since we do bleach it. She is very knowledgeable and her suggestions have an amazing outcome! A bonus to my appointments is that we always have great conversations about random things and it makes the time go by very quickly!

If you want color done right I highly recommend this salon! They are the best with color in town and if your wanting to do something out of the ordinary or edgy they are so down with it! Diana did an amazing job with my hair! I got a full highlight, cut, and style. She helped me pick out the color/tone that I wanted by showing samples and really showed care when making sure the toner was incorporated into every strand and each curl was laid correctly to frame my face. They also have great hair products!

Dianas haircuts are the bees knees. Before Diana, I would get my hair cut and think No. After Diana, I get my haircut and think Yes. My only complaint is that I only have 5 stars to give. Should be at least 11.5.After I got my haircut with Diana I found 5 dollars on the floor outside. Coincidence? Doubtful. Im not saying that if Diana cuts your hair your life will be perfect but Im strongly implying it and you should have no reason to doubt the words in a google review. Unless those words say bad things about Sisu and Diana. Then you should doubt them very much.Go to Sisu. Ask for Diana. Live your best life.

Absolutely love Sisu and their stylist, Kaitlin! I first saw her several months ago after a botched haircut and she was able to give me feeling confident as I progressing to a grow out. Since then, I’ve also had my hair colored by her and absolutely love the results! Kaitlyn is super personable and always seems very detailed oriented. Also appreciate the importance Sisu places on consultations—When I have wanted a change but didn’t know quite what or how to ask for it, Kaitlin was able to guide me in the right direction to get a result I really love! I was apprehensive about visiting a hairdresser during the pandemic, but Sisus was just the right place. Once you arrive they have facility to wash hands. The seating stations are far apart. All guests and workers wear mask all the time. But this doesnt get in the way of you getting a fabulous hair cut. Diana, my stylist, was awesome, very skilled and took into account how I like to wear my hair, and delivered an amazing hair cut! Highly recommend the place and appointment with Diana.Try to call and book appointments at least a couple of weeks ahead since they seem to be very popular and booked!

I also struggled to brush my hair by how tangled it got; Diana recommended some products and gave me information of what I was already using. Bay has such excellent cutting skills. She is meticulous and precise and definitely one of the top stylists in Lincoln.

Convenience was great, haircut was good. Strict on their policies when I cancelled 23 1/2 hours before haircut within their 24 hour window where they require a charge. I understand the policy but as someone who has provided business for 6-ish months, I assumed they would be nice to a returning customer. They were not. I respect that but wont be returning.They also remind you 23 hours before haircuts.

I would like to say Katya and the owner did a wonderful job at color correcting my hair done by a different stylist at SISU. She was informative and did what she could for my hair, and I am appreciative of the owner and Katya taking time to do the best they can to fix my hair!I feel bad leaving this review however, at the end of the day I invested $600 in 3 balayage appointments for my result to be damaged, crispy dark brown hair. My first bleaching session at Sisu was in early August ($200), 2nd session was late September ($200) and my last session at Sisu was early April (another $200) My stylist looked happy with the results, but I was left with crispy hair that was uneven. The top of my hair was left with streaky highlights and bottom ends were a completely different warm color with no definition. I was informed after my 3rd session that the mismatch in color was because of the box dye I had in my hair from 7+ years ago was still in my hair strands and even if your hair is back to its natural hair color it is still in the strands. If this is true, I wish they would have let me know in the 1st session, not the 3rd $600 later. Luckily, the next day they were able to fit me in with a color correction because even my coworkers and friends were horrified.Do your research especially if you are bipoc with dark thick hair like mine. Again, this does not reflect all the stylists at the salon!
