And the salon in general is great; the aesthetic is great and I love that they showcase local artists work for sale, too. Highly recommend!

This is my most favorite hair place ever! Ive had several people do my hair here, and they have all done exceptional work! Because of health issues, my hair has not always been particularly healthy. But the staff is so knowledgeable, and they nursed my hair back to health. Chelsea is my go-to girl. She is a wizard with color and cuts, and is just a joy to chat with (and Im super awkward to talk to! 😂). Its a beautiful salon, with an incredibly kind, wonderful staff. I absolutely recommend Salon Voe for all of your hair needs!

Truman does a wonderful job of both cutting and dying my hair! I am very particular about the way my bangs are cut, and he manages to do them perfectly every time. He does a great job with a balayage as well, creating a super smooth fade in color from root to tip. He has also dyed my hair ranging from pink to blue using high quality dye. On top of that, prices are super fair!

I travel all the way from Kansas city to get my hair done. Salon Voe is the best salon to go to in Lincoln. I highly recommend.

Love my experience!!! I went in super nervous and was scared to get my hair color but Chelsea talked with me and worked out what color would be best to go along with my natural hair color. I got a balayage its been almost a month since and it has been growing out amazing !! Would definitely recommend going to salon voe!

Mercedes has cut my hair for years! She is excellent! The entire salon stays upto date on all the latest cutting techniques and coloring techniques. She is not afraid to try something new and experiment, which I love!

My experience at Douglas Baehr was actually really great. Its a very chill environment. Mercedes certainly knew what she was doing and could identify with a lot of different hairstyles and had an excellent understanding of shaping and the concept of achieving hair goals. The location is convenient and the entire staff is very well trained and are able to offer the perfect, high quality products. My only complaint in no one in the salon is particularly friendly so that when one first walks in you may feel you are intruding where you dont belong. Dont let this deter you, however. I will definitely be working with the salon and its stylists regularly for the foreseeable future.

Douglas Baehr salon gives each person the time and attention needed to give them the best cut, color and style imaginable. The owners, Doug and Erika are so kind and down to earth and along with their staff they will make you feel like family. Everyone is so talented you will leave there feeling absolutely beautiful. DB Salon even does Shellac manicures and pedicures!Ive been going to DB Salon for a couple of years now and my cut and color has never looked better. Even after losing 50 pounds when I run into people I havent seen, the first thing Im complimented on is my hair!

I had a terrible experience at this salon. I went in looking for a simple highlight and cut. I expected to be at the salon 1 -1 1/2 hours and ended up there for three hours and the stylist didnt even think she was done! I told her I was not happy with it and that I had asked for texture and gotten none, she told me to use a texturing gel. While checking out, I asked to speak with the owner and was told that my hair wasnt that bad and that they like to take their time. When I pointed out that the other three clients that started their appointments at the same time as me and had been gone for at least an hour, he had no answer for me. The kicker - they still charged me full price and offered to adjust the charges to fix it, which means they planned on charging me to fix their error. Ill be visiting another salon to get it fixed.

Thanks, but no thanks. upon entering, i noticed the dated design. after getting my haircut, it all made sense. i got a 90s hairstyle. im 28 and felt like i looked 75 when i left. not the ideal hair experience
