My parents have only been there a short time but really are enjoying themselves. The facility is kept beautifully and the people are all very friendly and helpful. They care. They are very careful to protect against the virus yet are providing many safe activities. They are also awesome with the families visiting. They were so nice to us. Overall they make the experience for everyone as enjoyable as possible.

I am writing as family living out of state, working together with Lima area siblings in support of our sister now living at Primrose of Lima.On a physical level, Primrose is lovely and inviting.  Upon entering Primrose, the first-time visitor notices a quiet calm and a comforting welcome.  The communal spaces, the grounds - beautiful and serene.  Our sisters apartment - spacious and homey, with a gorgeous picture window bringing a sense of nature indoors.But as those of us with family members in need of support well know, ultimately, it’s the staff that makes all the difference.Talented, creative, and humane, the Primrose professional leadership is composed of a strong team with significant experience brought to their work.  Complimentary to each other in their respective roles, the Primrose management team offers an impressive blend of professionalism, and humanity.  Their responsiveness, and attunedness - be it by email, in person, or zoom -   regarding our sisters well-being,  immeasurably valuable to us as family.Likewise, the support staff -  competent, patient, and kind regarding the individual needs of their residents.  In truth, several of the personnel truly seem like angels.Our sister needs and benefits from the supportive structure, the nutritious meals, along with the rich array of daily activity.  Being treated with dignity and warmth, she has an opportunity for ongoing growth and quality of life as a member of the Primrose community as in no other setting to date.As family, we are deeply appreciative and grateful for the assistance and care provided at Primrose  of Lima for our sister. It is a quality of care that we, as siblings, as much as we love our dear one, are unable to provider ourselves.The challenges of overseeing the care of a vulnerable population, as we all are as elders, immense under the best of times.  All the more so midst Covid 19.  Impressively, the Primrose leadership continues to skillfully navigate the incredibly fine line between protecting the physical health, while also tending to the emotional well-being, of its residents midst these especially difficult times. My father and our family decided to move my Dad closer to where I live. After looking at different assisted living communities we decided to rent an apartment at Primrose. The rooms are nicely laid out. The bathrooms are well laid out and the dining room was designed for people to have conversations in and hear each other. It is has a wonderful family atmosphere. The staff have been wonderful with my father and communicate well with me on any needs or concerns. It is a place I would recommend and do recommend to families.

The care and dedication of the staff is excellent. Our family is thankful for the beautiful facilities and the attention to the specific help our loved one needs and has needed over the past almost 2 1/2 years.

Living an airplane ride from my brother it is comforting to see how the staff does individual activities with him.

Mom and Dad moved in a few years ago when neither was able to drive anymore. Moving to Primrose allowed them both to retire (ie. Dad had long since retired, but now Mom didnt need to cook anymore..good food was right down the hall). Both could still be active and social. The staff are great there and very caring. I stay with them when I visit, its nice and simple to stay with them in their own apartment home, with there own furniture and meet their new friends (who are pretty great by the way...).
