My husband and I have been going to Libertyville Dental since our previous dentist retired. We took a deep dive into the world of high-tech dentistry. The technology here is state-of-the-art. I receive great preventative care from the best dental hygienist, Tina. Whenever I have a whopper problem, Dr. Sam’s treatment offers the skill of an artist crafting a masterpiece. The office staff is courteous and helpful. It’s an office atmosphere where people like to go to, to work.

Libertyville Dental is the best in the area! The staff is tremendous and the extra care they take with patients is exceptional. If you need a good dentist and hygienist this is your place! I’ve been going for over 30 years and have always been impressed. I endorse it 100%.

I had a crown fall off and called Libertyville Dental because I could not get an appointment with my dentist. I was able to get an appointment with Libertyville Dental the same day my crown fell off. I thought this might “a one and done” visit with this new group but I was so impressed with the office staff and technicians that I am switching to Libertyville Dental. Dr Sam Weisz was very personable and a good listener. He explained what he was doing during the procedure and always asking if I was okay. He was able to re-use my crown! So happy to have found them!

Brought my son here after finding an abscess and not being able to get him in to our regular dentist. Called 5 places and they were the only ones who had a spot to see him. My son is 6 and has autism, so he was very nervous but they did all they could to keep him calm. The dentist was great and explained everything to him before she did it. Cant stress enough how patient and gentle they were.

Ive been a patient of Dr Katz for ~20 years. The office is clean, their procedures safe, the staff thorough, caring, patient, kind, thoughtful and professional. My first visit at this dental office went wonderfully! The staff was so friendly and they have the top tech for what I am trying to trying to have done (Invisalign). I brought my 5 year old son along with me and the dentist gave him a free book called “Sugar Bugs” that he and his wife authored. They obviously value dental health highly and take a personal investment in providing even our youth with educational information to prevent their need for visits to the dentist in the future. Dr. Sam Weisz is the best! He is a highly professional, talented, and caring provider. Yesterday he completed a complicated and time-consuming procedure to save one of my teeth and today I’m feeling great. In addition, Dr. Sam found a probable infection under my bridge and referred me to an endodontist for further advice. The endodontist, Dr. Martin Rodgers, agreed with Dr. Sam’s assessment and will do a root canal through the bridge next month. Complementing Dr. Sam’s expertise are his top notch dental assistant and a friendly helpful staff. I gave Libertyville Denntal Associates five stars on Yelp and I highly recommend the practice.

On a recommendation, I made an appointment for a regular cleaning with Libertyville Dental Associates. I’m very pleased I did. Dr. Phillip and the team we’re very friendly and professional. I was scheduled for a new patient exam, which doesn’t include a cleaning (they want to evaluate before determining the type of cleaning and follow-up necessary, makes sense). I didn’t realize my appointment didn’t include a cleaning, but was alright with scheduling another appointment at a later date. Amazingly, Dr. Phillip fit me in for a cleaning and cavity fill on the spot. She was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. I really can’t get over how wonderful this dental office is. I would highly recommend Dr. Phillip.

Love Dr Sam and all his staff! I had a really difficult case and needed over a year of frequent visits and the whole office was always friendly, smiling and kind. Dr Sam went out of his way to help me on multiple occasions, even coming in on a weekend when my temporary fell out. Now my teeth look great for the first time in 25 years, and I have Dr Sam to thank for that. They’ve done a great job keeping staff and patients safe during COVID. So Im VERY nervous every time I have to go to the dentist office. Ill admit, its my least favorite health/medical appointment to go to. I did tons of research before picking my dentist, and upon reading good reviews decided to come to Libertyville Dental Associates. I went in for my first appointment ready to trial run and would decide whether to stick with them or keep shopping around. Upon my first appointment, I immediately was comfortable as the entire staff, from the front desk staff to the dentist, were SO friendly. Tina, my hygienist, is AMAZING, and shes kept me coming back! If she ever leaves, Im going too! haha Ive seen Dr. Katz and Dr. Sam and both were very gentle and Id happily see other, any time. When my now-husband moved to the area from out of state, I told him, he HAS to go here, and he has recently visited for his first appointment and was pleased as well. Im so happy to found a dentist office where I feel comfortable, and where I can completely trust the entire team. If youre considering, 1000% recommend! :)

I have been going to Libertyville Dental for close to 38 years. Dr. Alan and Dr. Sam are spectacular dentists. They are both gentle, kind and very honest. The office equipment is always up to date and state of the art. The dental hygienist and assistants are highly trained and have wonderful bed side manors. The office staff always greets patients with professionalism and are very approachable. I highly recommend this dental practice for all dental needs.

Dr Sam and the entire staff at Libertyville dental are wonderful. Absolute professionalism of the highest caliber. Jessie is my particular favorite. I can be a real crabby patient at times, when I have a perceived issue they have went above and beyond to resolve the problem. Dental work can be less than an enjoyable experience, but they take the time to explain the procedure and do everything possible to make it as comfortable as possible.

The staff at Libertyville Dental Associates are incredible. I was kept informed every step of the way and felt comfortable for my entire experience. They are the best and Ill be going there for all my dental work from here on out.

Dr. Sam and his staff are always patient and kind and not only with me, but also with my two kids. We never feel rushed and every treatment option is always explained in detail. My kids dont dread going to the dentist! We drive 30 minutes to see Dr. Sam and it is worth every minute!

The staff was super friendly. I am very anxious at the dentist but they all made me feel very comfortable. They came up with a plan for me, only problem is their pricing. With insurance covering about 1500, they wanted around 6000 for 2 crowns and a deep cleaning. Thats absolutely insane. Id love to stay with them but theres no way I can afford them. I told them how bad my anxiety was and I feel like they are taking advantage of people who are scared of the dentist. They know they prolly wont look elsewhere or will pay whatever it takes to be comfortable. 6k for just a deep cleaning and a crown is just craziness.

This practice has experienced and quality hygienists, super friendly staff and the dentist is highly knowledgeable and thorough with the appointment and services provided. Our family felt very welcomed, acknowledged and comforted in knowing that they were in good hands being new to the world of high tech quality and safe dentistry. Be sure to thoroughly check with your insurance coverage for detailed rd out-of-network service costs and estimates as this office is not contracted with any insurance companies.

I am a new patient at Libertyville Dental. Dr. Sam Weisz checked my teeth and came up with a treatment plan for me. I felt instantly at ease with him. I am scared of pain in my mouth, and he filled some cavities and it never hurt. He was very gentle with me. I also had a deep cleaning done by Tina. Before my appointment I was really scared. She did an excellent job of making me comfortable and the procedure was painless. This is a great practice. Wonderful people all around!

Great Dentists, they work hard to minimize pain and make your experience as pleasant as possible. Are fair in recommending work that needs to be done. I have had invisalign through them as well and am so very pleased with the results. My teeth are straighter then I ever imagined possible.

I was a new patient with both an emergent situation and severe anxiety. Dr. Sam, the office and clinical staff are excellent. They are calm, patient, professional, understanding, and reassuring. The office was very nice, clean, and with comfortable seating in the waiting area...although in 5 visits I have never waited more than 3 minutes. Accommodations that were offered for my comfort and relaxation exceeded my expectations, and when combined with oral sedation options, were quite effective in managing my anxiety.The work and cost did not exceed what was outlined in the treatment plan at my consultation. Furthermore, I am 100% satisfied with the quality and care I received.While my dental anxiety isnt completely gone, I can say that I have full confidence that Dr. Sam and his staff will work with me on a solution to manage it. I definitely recommended Libertyville Dental Associates to anyone, but most certainly to high anxiety patients.

The receptionists are friendly and my scheduled visits always start right on time. Their hygienists are also really great.Dr Weisz is an absolute delight. Hes warm, and accommodating. I felt instantly comfortable from the start and its the main reason I continue my visits at Libertyville Dental after all these years. Not long ago I had a couple cosmetic fixes (repairing small chips, bonding and evening out front tooth) and he was meticulous and exact. He made certain that I was happy with the look and feel of the fixes, and took his time making sure it was as perfect as possible.I couldnt be more pleased with the care he took and the outcome of his work.I have been and continue to be very satisfied and happy with Dr. Weisz and the Libertyville Dental Staff and my experiences at Libertyville Dental. I will begin by stating that I prior to my first visit to Libertyville Dental, I have not been to the dentist in at least 10 years. I was terrified of the unknowns. My first exam with Dr. Samuel Weisz was painfree and educational. Dr. Weisz explained to me what I needed, the importance of why I needed it, and educated me on the procedures. My first visit that was related to my treatment plan was full of terror and anxiety but by the end of that first appointment I had nothing to fear. The hygienist was friendly and professional. I have a few more steps in my treatment plan but I am excited to go to the dentist again, I dont think I ever was before. I highly recommend Libertyville Dental to any patient that wants a personal experience and feel welcomed every time. Also, great childrens book written by Dr. Weisz.

I want to thank Dr Weisz for helping me get over my fear of dentist. When I went to see him it had been almost 30 years since I saw a dentist because of an awful dentist I had as a child and swore up and down I would never go again. Well I couldnt hold off anymore and boy was my mouth a mess, and needed a lot of work. Between the 2 visits it took him almost 10 hours, still not done need a few more things done, but the worse is over. He is very patient and understands when one has fear of the dentist. I was a difficult case for him because the oral sedation did not work as well with me as it had with other patients, but once we go gas going also it put me in a relax state. His assistant Katie also made sure I was comfortable at all times. the whole office staff including Jean are just outstanding and caring. I actually had to have a root canal done today with another doctor, and I was not anxious as I use to be because of Dr. Weisz, so if you have a fear of dentists, see him he will get you over that hump and show you they are not all bad, and they actually do care. Also one last thing about Dr. Weisz, he is not all about the money as others. I got second opinions from other doctors and they wanted to charge almost double than what Dr. Weisz was charging, and most of them had a horrible bed side manner especially when I told them about my fear of dentists. Stick with Dr. Weisz your in good hands.

I found this dentist based on internet reviews and the reviews were true. The dentist and associates at the office are fun but professional. They dont make chit chat, they actually get to know you and go the extra mile to see that you are doing well. I have gotten personal calls from them which makes me feel like a valued patient.I did not get to have braces as a kid, so I talked to Dr. Sam about Invisalign. He went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable with things before we even started the program. Once we commited, they were really positive in helping me through the process. Anytime I had an issue I could just call and pop in for an adjustment.This office is top notch with Invisalign. My teeth were moved into their perfect spots in just about a year and now I have no problem showing off my smile.A lot of the associates in the office also have Invisalign, so you will always have someone to talk to about the process.They start by taking molds of your mouth and pre-pictures then showing you how your teeth will move during the process and what the final result is expected to look like. If you are unhappy with the result, they will work with you to make any final tweaks you may want. There were no hidden fees with the Invisalign from the office and it includes office visits, the Invisalign braces, and any retainers that you may need afterwards.Not sure what else I can say about the Invisalign process, but I like going to visit Dr.Sam and Dr. Katz and the rest of the associates at the office. They see themselves as more of a family than a work group. Get the smile you want!

Dr. Sam Weisz, at Libertyville Dental, is probably the best dentist I have ever had. A couple years ago I had to find a new dentist, which was dictated by my insurance. I had received very poor care in the past and really dreaded going to the dentist. When I sat in Dr. Weisz chair for the first time, I had a panic attack - not because he was scary, but just because thats how adverse I felt to the dentist. Dr. Weisz took the time to calm me down and really explain what was going on with my mouth (as my fear had created neglect). He was sensitive to my dental stressors. I have been to dentists before where Ive received a lecture and felt judged. Dr. Weisz expressed concern, but understanding, and approached my dental work kindly, with a good sense of humor, and the utmost professionalism. There is never a question too silly or ridiculous to him and I feel like I am able to sincerely talk to him about my dental questions. Since Ive started seeing Dr. Weisz, I no longer have panic attacks or am a ball of tenstion when I see a dentist chair. I know Im in good hands and I know he understands the type of patient I am and is going to do whats best for me. He puts his patients first and truly cares about their well being (I have received personal calls from him after intense appointments to check up on me and see how Im doing.) In summary:1) youre going to have a good experience with Dr. Weisz, even if its bad news, which youll be able to work out together as long as you realize, hes just the messenger2) if youre afraid of the dentist - Dr. Weisz is your man. He approaches things with care and sensitivity. I instantly felt comfortable around him and it felt like an old friend was working on my mouth.3) hes a great listener and explainer - youll understand your timeline and why certain things need to be done sooner than later4) you dont feel like a number/revolving door. He takes the time to get to know you.5) he works with a great team/family that puts your care and health first. Its awesome!

I had a very touching experience today with dr Samuel Weisz I went in to have my bridge looked at because I broke it and I was so worried about the cost I just wanted an estimate but he he did more than that he right then and there took out my broken bridge and gave me temporary one until my new one comes in at a cost I could afford and I cried because he paid for a lot of it and my side was way beyond less him and his 2 girls treated me really good and he catered to me because I’m a coward when it comes to dentist I love this guy and his assistance very professional and kind thank you to everyone in his office thank you Deborah peel
