I have been a patient at Libertyville Vision for many years. Dr Heimlich examined me yesterday for a renewal of my contact lens prescription. As always he was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The clinic is taking appropriate COVID precautions. I highly recommend.

If you have any sort of anxiety or issues wearing masks long term, I suggest making two appointments. One for exam and one for eyeglass fitting. I also suggest bringing your own hand mirror if you can’t see without your glasses. Initially I struggled w my appointment this year but the office worked w me and allowed my husband in to help as my vision is upwards of negative 10 and it makes getting glasses difficult at times. Appreciated the staff’s support tonight and was able to find glasses I am happy with.

We were charged for the frame and lenses, then was informed that they are not available. We visited the Buffalo Grove office to pick out a new pair, but the lady wasnt able to help us because the charge was rejected by insurance company and she wasnt able to reverse the first order which we never received. Were informed to go back to the Libertyville office. This is such a poor service, expected better coordination and more helpful people. Unclear why they cannot cancel the order that wasnt delivered either. Overall, very disappointed.

I have been going to this office for years and have seen about every Dr in the place. They are always polite, professional, and very helpful. They have reasonable prices and excellent customer care. Everyone from the Dr. and assistants all the way through to the customer service staff and glasses technicians are kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and understand that they are interacting with people who have busy schedules. I have always had a positive experience. They also usually have a good selection of trendy frames, which is important to me as I am in sales and my appearance makes a difference on a daily basis.

Showed up with an emergency one minute after closing (3:31) and would not see us after a long drive. Very frustrated.Also had major billing issues in the past when they billed the wrong insurance and then cashed our insurance refund check.Experience with Doctor has been pleasant. Nothing but trouble after seeing the doctor.

As always everyone in the office is great. Professional and friendly. It is our place for vision care.

I received a call from Dr. Highmlick today, I hope I am spelling correctly, and it was a great show of customer service. He called to check in to make sure my eye was feeling better and genuinely cared. I usually go to the Buffal Grove office but it is great to know that both office are run the same!

Dr. Heimlich was wonderful. I felt very comfortable as a first time patient. He gave me advice for my contacts and was very patient to answer all of my questions.

The doctors are professional. They listen and provided good services to me and my family over the past many years. However, the billing is a problem this time. They sent me a wrong bill, I called to report the wrong billing. They sent me another wrong bill charging me even more than the 1st one. I called again and nobody returns my call. I am still waiting to solve the billing issue. I think we will resolve the problem soon.

We have been going here for years. However seeing Dr. Saha was absolutely wonderful. I will definetly request this amazing doctor again. Thank you for another great experience. Your practice knows their customers.

Dr. Saha did a great job explaining to me the ins and outs of contact care. She explained all my options of combining glasses with contacts and finding the right eye care solution for me. She didnt try to sell me eye care I didnt need or want and explained what my insurance covered and what it didnt so I didnt spend money i didnt need to. She asked lifestyle questions to make sure the corrective vision option I chose fits that well and is not an additional burden on my racing schedule. The front desk staff, unfortunately I did not get a name, was helpful in finding the most cost effective use of my insurance coverage, i.e. put the money towards the exam or the contacts and made sure that she took the time to write out a reminder card, which today everything being electronic is a nice touch. The facility is clean and easy to find on Milwaukee.

Always a great experience; customer care and experienced staff at BOTH locations (BGEC is near my workplace which is convenient and LVC is near my home); this time I saw Dr. Dowell at Libertyville - as always, he took the time to show and explain to me whats going on with my vision and eyes and and offered thoughtful recommendations going forward. Easy to get an Appointment, Friendly Staff, Dr.Dowell takes time to make me feel that my eye care is important to him.

I had what I would consider a serious eye issue. Dr. Dowell did a great job detecting the problem and to be sure called a specialist to have him confirm his assessment of the issue. He got me an appointment with the specialist a Neuro-Optomologist who provided me with the answers I needed and a correction in my vision. Vision Center is a Great place, Great Doctors!!
