One of the best dental experiences I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, I felt relaxed and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Trish is extremely friendly and walked me through everything. Dr. Max is extremely refreshing & knowledgeable & again, I was completely at ease. I went in for a chipped tooth and he not only fixed the 1 I went in for, he touched upon some other teeth as well. I was so impressed with Lexington Smile Design Studio, that I turned right around and made an appointment for a dental cleaning. My teeth look great, thanks to Dr. Max and Trish. Try them out. I have a story to tell, and its long, but Ill put it below because I believe what Dr. Max and the family at Lexington Smile did for me should be out in the ether of the world.In short, though, know that my first appointment with Dr. Max changed my life. What I thought was just my first visit to a dentist in years was actually the first domino in a series of positive health and life changes, a domino that, depending on which way it fell, could have knocked over a far worse path. I genuinely credit Dr. Max for helping me become the version of myself Ive always pushed away—good teeth is just an added bonus.If youre doubting if this is the place for you, dont. It is, regardless of who you are or where you come from.If you want to check out my story, here it is -->It sounds like an exaggeration to say one visit to a new dentist can change your life, but I swear this visit did. Ive always been someone ashamed of my body and thus someone who puts my health on the back burner. Any symptom I developed I normalized and accepted, not thinking I deserved help and fearing things out of my control, and it had been years since I went to any doctor for even simple visits, like dental cleanings, eye exams, and annuals. Over 2020, I started wanting to get my health together but still had trepidation and fear. In spring of 2021, I finally decided to bite the bullet and at least make one appointment. The first appointment I made was a dental one at Lexington Smile.I had never experienced an appointment at any doctor quite like this.From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. Ive always been sensitive to energy, and the space radiated positivity. The front desk manager and the dental assistant, Barb and Trish, were incredibly kind and accommodating to my worries and needs, offering a drink, a blanket, and warm conversation. Then I met Dr. Max. He didnt want to see me for just teeth—he wanted to see me for me, body and soul. Before and after, we talked about life, health, hobbies, what have you. Obviously he had recommendations for my teeth, and the dental plans he made he did with me in mind, not for some page in a dental textbook, for the person who hasnt been to the dentist in a while and is scared. He was open and clear and shared just enough without overwhelming me. He knew how to tailor delivery of facts for who he quickly learned I was. To him, my health status and my fears didnt make me a failure—they just made me human, a human no less deserving of help and growth. I have genuinely never felt so comfortable with a dentist, or any doctor for that matter.What mattered the most, though, was how attentive Dr. Max was to my entire body. He gave two additional recommendations: that I get my wisdom teeth extracted and that I get tested for sleep apnea. While those both sounded scary and mountainous to me, because of how honest and passionate his intent was, I decided to make those appointments. Over the summer, I got my wisdom teeth removed, and I found out I had severe sleep apnea and had no idea. I was barely breathing at night. My life was in danger every time I fell asleep, and I didnt know it. Dr. Max did.Genuinely, if I had had a negative experience at Lexington Smile, I may not have made any more appointments that summer. Because of how positive the experience was, I made the rest of the appointments I wanted that summer: the ophthalmologist, the gynecologist, a primary care physician, and, of course, the oral surgeon and ENT. Feeling like my health was getting back on track made me more confident in myself overall, and I started implementing lifestyle changes. As of late June, Ive lost over 15 pounds. I started my CPAP last week, and Im finally breathing at night. I have more energy. Im looking forward to each day in a way I wasnt before. And when I went back to Dr. Max a couple weeks ago, for the first time in my 26 years, I wasnt scared of the dentist. The vibes, for once, were good.

My first visit at Lexington Smile Design Studio was exceptional. The staff (Barb and Trish) was super friendly and welcoming. Dr. Max is knowledgeable, caring, and lighthearted; he puts your worries to rest and makes you feel at ease. He is also very honest and upfront about your dental needs. You can tell when a dentist is out for the money, and Dr. Max is far from that. He truly enjoys his work, and being of service in his community. 10/10, would definitely recommend!

If you need a great dentist and a staff that treats you with kindness and compassion, you need to come see Dr. Max and his crew. I have had issues with my teeth since I was a teen due to an impoverished childhood, and I have spent a LOT of time in the dentists chair and seen a LOT of different dentists over the last 30 years. I can say without a doubt that Dr. Max and his staff are by far the, kindest, most personable team of dental professionals Ive ever dealt with. Barb, the Office Manager, is as sweet as she can be and always super personable. Trish is super funny and makes you feel right at home. Dr. Max is a down to earth guy and will sit you down and explain every single issue that you have going on with your teeth if there are any, and work out a treatment plan with you. You never feel rushed or like just a number on a chart (which is very important to me). Being comfortable in the dentists office is a really important quality for someone like me who has to spend so much time there. They definitely deserve every 5 star review they have! Including mine! I have not ever had such a positive experience at a dental office as I have had with Lexington Smile Design Studio. You are greeted by Barb at the front desk with a warm welcome and refreshing mouthwash. Trish will come and get you, walk you to your room and get you set up for your appointment. Dr. Max will follow shortly behind Trish and they talk to you about your concerns and try to answer any questions you have while making you feel comfortable. They dont dive right into your oral exam and tell you all the things they think you should be doing differently. They are great at sharing what they have learned in their many years of experience as well as educating their patients. They are very conservative with treatment and are not charging you for unnecessary procedures. I have been to their office multiple times now and they have been nothing but consistant. As if that was not enough, they make sure to think of all the little things too! They will make sure you have a warm blanket or a fan to stay comfortable during your visit. You get a minty hot towel to clean up after treatment. Of course the fresh baked cookies for your sweet tooth at checkout will seal the deal if you are still on the fence! I am definitely a patient for life and will continue to tell everyone I know about how greatful I am to see Dr. Max and his team at Lexington Smile Design Studio.

I would send my own mom here because I know she would be given the most understanding and attentive care.The waiting area is welcoming and comfortable. I didn’t feel as though I was in a corporate office. I felt as though I was in a family’s living room. It was even decorated with pictures of Dr. Max and his wife and kids.During my sign in I was given a sheet to fill out that I have never seen at any other practice before. It was a list of options that I could check in order to customize my visit to any specific emotional needs I may have such as anxiety around dental tools or needing help while assessing my dental options.As my dental situation was quite unusual, Dr. Max and Dr. Barb (who assisted him during my visit) both reached out to me by phone later that same day to make sure I was doing ok and to see if I had any questions about the medicine they sent me home with.I took a card when I left. I will absolutely be going back. I encourage anyone who reads this to please call them. You will never want to go to another dentist again.

Dr. Max, Trish and Barb make coming to the Dentist a pleasure! There are not many practices where your dentist takes the time to explain things so well, and is the one cleaning your teeth. I recently moved my mother from Georgia to Columbia and I already had her booked for her next dental cleaning with Dr. Max. In the meantime, she had a dental emergency and they immediately took her in and successfully treated her, all within a weeks time. At almost 93 years old, the care and attention they gave her was if they were treating a member of their own family. They set the standard for the new dental procedures that can be done less invasive then implants. Patient care is top priority! Very personable. The staff is friendly. Enjoyed the welcome gift. It adds a special touch. It was me and my daughter’s 1st visit. Both of us like the ladies and Dr. Max and will be returning . Trust me for us to say we will return and not look for another dentist means A LOT. Both of us have had bad experiences with dentists. I have walked out of a dentist office as soon as they walked out of the exam room. (They returned to an empty exam room) My daughter have had a horrible experience with dentists as well.

Great location for your family Dental Care. They were amazing. Dr. Maxs office personnel are so friendly and easy to work with. I felt really comfortable from the moment I walked in. Dr. Max was very professional and took care of me. Their office seems to have all the updated equipment as well. I went in for a Crown and Dr. Max was able to do the whole procedure that morning. I didnt get fitted with a temporary to have to come back. It was made right there in the office. I give them 5 stars plus.

I was dropped as a patient during Covid due to the fact that I’m a nurse. Comments were made in the by staff in office to make me believe this statement. I asked why this was happening to nurses and the reply was that they had to protect their staff and patientsWhen trying to question why I was dropped this was viewed as harassment according to the staff. I was told a lawyer would be contacting me by the staff member because of my questioning her why I was dropped. This was sent to me in a text message. I never heard from this lawyer which I would’ve come back with another lawsuit for a patient abandonment. A Dentist is not supposed to leave the patient in the middle of care, which I was seeing an orthodontist under his care.During Covid, I had surgery and had a crown that came off of one of my teeth and I had to go back to my old dentist to get it fixed, I was told that this Dennis office was not going to come in just to fix my crown during Covid. I ended up going back for a cleaning also because Dr Farley’s office did not even pick up the phone. So I could schedule a cleaning.I am in the middle of being tested for a syndrome that is related to very dry mouth and dry eyes. Dr. Farley also abandon care during my medical needs to have thorough dental care.I have to ask why this Dentist Office was the only one I know what that totally shut down during March and April. They were not even available for emergency care.As a nurse, this is very poor communication skills with the medical community. I am a critical care nurse, nurse educator. I have to wonder why when apparently his wife is a nurse why the nursing community is being treated so poorly.When a dentist is not available during an emergency as a critical care nurse and nurse educator I would not recommend this to any kind of patientJanet Parsons RN, MSN, CCRN

Best dentist Ive ever used. Dr. Max is very knowledgeable about his profession and he and staff have a great bedside manner if you want to call it that. They try and get to know you and will talk to you about whatever while your there. They trend to remember what it was that youd talked about 6 months earlier as well and will ask you how your families doing, or how was your trip or whatever it was youd talked about on your last visit. The fact that they make things like permanent crowns in-house is a huge plus and it keeps you from needing to wear a temporary crown and come back for more than one visit.Dr. Maxs office is an easy 5 star rating from me.

Made it feel like home. Took care of me, held conversations and made sure your teeth was their first priority. Wonderful place and can’t wait to go back!!!!

Where should I begin! When I first entered Lexington Smile Design Studio I was welcomed and treated as if I were the only client in the building. The Staff is PHENOMENAL!! Dr. Fawley did my cleaning and explained every process that he was doing and why. I can tell this Staff has a passion for what they are doing. The office is also VERY BEAUTIFUL! It’s impossible to put into words how great of an experience I had at my first visit to Lexington Smile Design Studio! Dr. Max and the staff are top-notch, welcoming and personable – something I can not say about my previous dentist. The experience and quality of service is so exceptional that my family has transitioned to LSDS. Dr. Max is very thorough and explains all the procedures. They treat you like family and Im actually looking forward to my next visit! I highly recommend LSDS to anyone on the hunt for a new dentist!

I would definitely recommend Lexington Smile Design Studio to anyone!! I used to hate going to the dentist because I would be very uncomfortable and leave in pain. This does not happen with Dr. Max and his team. They make sure that you are comfortable and treat you like family. They make sure that they explain everything they are doing. They have a way of giving you pointers to help with your dental hygiene that doesn’t feel as though they are scolding you. Way to go guys!! Definitely would not go anywhere else.

As the mother of a daughter born with congenital dental defects, and having already experienced many dental treatments, we were referred to Dr. Max Frawley of Lexington Smile Design Studio. From the moment I called to make an appointment, until walking out of their office today, the entire experience has been nothing short of amazing. Professional, compassionate, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable, Dr. Max was absolutely wonderful. I definitely recommend Lexington Smile Design Studio to everyone. Dr. Frawley is very professional and made sure I was comfortable the entire time I was there. He has a television set up in front of the dental chair where I could either go on Netflix or Sling which I thought was awesome. I had some cavities filled and dealing with him I felt no pain at all. I love Lexington Smile Design Studio! Dr. Frawley is the most capable, compassionate, and determined dentist I know. In November of 2019, I was involved in an accident; consequently, I shattered two healthy teeth and a 3 unit bridge. When I visited my regular dentist, the day after I was released from the hospital, he shook his head, dropped his shoulders, and said, “I don’t even begin to know how to fix this. I can’t, and even if I could, your mouth will never be the same.” Needless to say, I was devastated. I imagined, at age 39, how I would navigate my life, as a mom and a soon-to-be college professor, with an upper denture. Fortunately, a short while later, I found Dr. Frawley and his team. Five minutes after our initial handshake, I had no doubt that he could restore my smile. But, he didn’t just restore my smile . . . He IMPROVED my smile.I don’t have adequate words to articulate my gratitude to Dr. Frawley, and I definitely don’t have adequate words to describe how I feel after a visit to his office. Maybe it’s the fresh baked cookies his staff serves up, maybe it’s the post-surgery texts and calls “just checking on you,” or maybe it’s the kindness radiating from every employee, especially his AMAZING dental assistant, Trish . . . Walking in the first thing you notice is how perfectly clean everything is throughout the entire facility. The second thing is how friendly and helpful the office staff is from the time you walk in the door. DrMax is outstanding in every aspect of his patient care. He really takes the time to explain everything in an easy to understand manner. Dr Max and his staff really puts the patient as its number one priority. With all that said, the most important thing is the skills of your dentist and everyone at the Lexington Smile Design Studio impressed me with the work done. Last dentist I will ever have.

Everyone was super warm and friendly. They greeted me by name at the door and went out of their way to make sure I felt calm and comfortable. The dentist and his assistant have a great repore and are very personable.- this was my first visit and I legit felt sooo included and cared for. Ill be back and also bringingy husband and MIL into the practice.

With pain being my biggest worry, I didn’t experience any during my visit. Trish and Dr. Max were very gentle with my teeth, during x-rays and with the cleaning. I will definitely be back!

This office is amazing. I entered this office as a new patient. A new patient with an emergency. Swollen gums , a possible abscess, and the bacteria entering my blood consumed me. I was advised by a physician on Sunday to see a dentist immediately on Monday 11/11/19. I enter the office, which is beautiful. Barb greeted me with a smile and kindness. Especially having anxiety about what was going, being afraid of a dentist and my condition, her hostility was a welcoming attribute. I told her what was going on with me the swollen gums and the possible abscess. She said she can fit me in at 3 pm. I guess she could see the agony in my face and heard the slight whimper. She said well let me just go check back with Dr. Matt. She returned telling me to go get some breakfast and some coffee. She gave me some paperwork and she advised me to return in less than an hour. I returned in an hour and talk to Dr. Max and Barb and the hygienist s they were in the reception area. I was about to back out because I found out they werent in network. Barb explaind to me about the insurance and Dr. Max answered some questions for me.I was satisfied; however, I was still a bit leary but I had to get it done. They took me on back for x-rays to find out what was going on. I have anxiety and stress when it comes to the dentist, but I knew I had to resolve this issue. It could lead to heart issues or kidney failure so I had to get it done. I was fearful.Dr Max was very gentle. He explained everything and when I asked if something would hurt he immediately told me what he was doing and that it wouldnt hurt. This office is great. I am not sure what my billing will be like, but I hope I can stay at this office because the office is beautiful, the people are kind and they were even baking Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, delicious! They were able to expedite getting my medication and my referrals. Dr. Max advised me to stop taking my current medication in order to begin a anaerobic antibiotic regimen. Many would not take the time to explain in such a manner because they believe your an idiot. When I went home, I had excruciating pain, I called back for pain medication. Dr. Max immediately wrote me a prescription that I had to come in to get and he explained to me why I was having that pain after the visit. This office is stellar. Thank you for helping me in the mist of my agony. I am feeling much better today.

My entire family is under the excellent care of Dr. Max Frawley and his wonderful staff. We have never had better dental care. Dr. Frawley has a passion for what he does and it clearly shows in his treatment and care of his patients. Every time I have had to have a procedure done, whether a simple filling or something more involved, the issue , treatment and options have all been explained in detail. Dr. Frawley has listened to my concerns and all my questions were answered. He has been able to solve dental issues for me that no other dentist has been able to solve. I always trust his judgement and know that he will always do what is best for my continued dental health. He also has a friendly, knowledgeable staff who makes patients feel welcomed and comfortable. I actually dont mind going to the dentist anymore!! We are very thankful to be under Dr. Frawleys care.

Dr. Max Frawley is truly the best Dentist that Ive ever come across . He and his team go out of their way to make sure that leave you 100% satisfied. But the things that probably have guaranteed them by business are the the things people wont normally get the chance to experience with another Dental office. For example the way I met Dr. Maxx was bc I had chipped my front tooth badly on a Friday night at probably 6pm. We called every Dentist we could find and everyone said it would be days. Finally we called and got Dr. Maxx. He told us he would come in on his day off on Sat morning and knock it out first thing. Sure enough first thing Sat morning he fixed my teeth perfectly. In fact, I already had composites in my front teeth by another dentist. He not only fixed my chipped tooth, but he also fixed my others while sitting there to make them all look amazing. Never did he ask for anything extra. You cant find professionalism like that . He treats all of his patients with the utmost respect and importance. He staff is also one of a kind From the front to the back they are amazing. He is now my familys Dentist and the only dentist I will ever recommend anyone to. If you want amazing work done on your teeth, then go sit in Dr. Maxxs chair. Hes a total perfectionist. You wont be disappointed!!!
