5/5. I just got my two wisdom teeth extracted and one cavity filled and I have zero pain after the procedure at all. The procedure was very fast and such a simply process. Dr. Black and the all of the staff there are always so efficient, friendly, and remarkable with their service. I will continue to go to Dental Works Lexington and recommend others to as well!

I have really bad anxiety with dental work due to past experiences, but Dr. Black was very patient and professional. He told me step by step what he was doing and what to expect. Best dentist in Lexington by far!

The office staff was very helpful in getting clearance from my cardiologist. The nurse put me at rase with her humor. Dr. Black was exceptional. He patiently explained the procedure and the costs. This was an emergency visit, but I will definitely return for regular care.

The Staff at DentalWorks is always so pleasant. Everyone seems to genuinely care that you are comfortable and not in pain.

I started going there in April. Dr. Black was great as well as his assistants. A few months passed and I began to ask the associate Molly about a previous procedure. I was asked to pay $500 up front for this procedure. She was never able to give me a direct answer on what my insurance had covered. She finally told me in July if I got an EOB from my insurance, she could tell me more. After contacting my insurance twice, they never received the claim. Molly was never able to tell me how much the crown would be or how much my insurance would cover. I even spoke to a manager named Lee who tried to tell me that it had been filed after my insurance said it wasnt twice. He wouldnt take the direct number to dental claims. My insurance would have covered half of this procedure. They wont refund the money that was taken up front. I was told by my insurance that I can file the claim myself. It is a scam to charge someone upfront for a procedure that is partially covered by their insurance and continue to refuse to fix the issue. Lee would not even take the number to the insurance to submit the claim. He would not give me the number to his corporate office either. I would not recommend this office due to the front staff and management. They are clearly doing things incorrectly and dont care that they are charging people and refusing to file covered procedures.

Dr. Black and staff have always been comforting. I’ve been coming here for a few years and I am always impressed by the level of care.

Dr Baxley and her staff did an amazing job on my dental work. They also made me new partials for my upper and lower teeth. These new teeth are 100% better then the ones I had prior. I have only had the best experience at DentalWorks in LexingtonNC. Doctor Black and his staff have treated me like family. I feel welcome when I go there. If you are having teeth problems Dr. Black will try to make plans that work best with your budget. He will tell you what he thinks the best plan will be for you and explain in detail what it involves. He lets you ask questions to see if that is what you want to go with. So, if you need a dentist I would highly recommend Dr. Black and his staff. I give them a 10 and higher.

Have a tooth filled it was what I was expecting, no pain, no long wait, and very pleasant experience, the doctor and assistant very nice people also, same the rest of personnel, I highly recommend this place.

I went in to get a top wisdom tooth pulled that had broken completely in half, Dr. Baxley was extremely kind and patient and while it isnt fun to get a tooth pulled(especially one in such an awkward place,) she and her dentist assistant(I unfortunately did not catch her name,) made the experience as smooth as possible. Three weeks later and my gum is healing up neatly and Im pretty much back to normal. I would return and I will be recommending this place to others in the future.

I have never had a cavity (I am 50) so don’t go to the dentist often. I cracked two teeth recently and DentalWorks had to work me in to get it taken care of and when there was a mix up with the scheduling, they figured out how to work me in right away. They are all professional and helpful, and none of the staff “attitude” you sometimes see in a doctor’s office. And I just LOVE Dr. Black. He is professional, and kind, and polite, and gentle. I was done and out of the office with the appointment schedule sna-foo and two fillings in 2 hours.

Showed up for an appointment today and was told it had been canceled. No, I was not notified. I showed the text reminder I received last week and was told that those are generated automatically and the office has no control over them. Furthermore, they admitted they did not even have a hygienist on staff, but hoped to hire one by June. 6 weeks from now!

Dr. Baxley is great, I recommend her to anyone the needs a caring and understanding dentist. She makes the appointment a pleasant experience and you actually look forward to your next visit.

Dr. Black is the best! I’ve been to 10 dentists in the past 15 years and Dr. Black is the only one who has been able to properly numb my mouth without having to stick me more than 5 times (some dentists have had to stick me 20+ times). It also helps that he’s very nice and provides clients all the information needed before providing services. I highly recommend!

Made appt over 1 month ago. Show up 15 minutes prior to appointment and 1 hour later still waiting. Why make an appointment if they will not honor it.

Dr. Black is so nice, has impeccable bedside manner! He made me comfortable and never once hurt me. He’s compassionate and cares for his patients! His staff is just the same! Smiling faces and you can tell they all care about what they do! If your looking for a great dentist that won’t put you in debt, this place is the Golden ticket! So glad I changed!Ps. Had a past dentist tell me I would need surgery and bone graft, Dr Black investigated and said there was nothing wrong that needed either. Good thing I didn’t schedule an unnecessary surgery!

Staff is super nice and the Dentist talks to you and explains everything so you understand what they are saying.

The people were amazing and the work they did. They talked to me about what was best for my teeth and what I wanted to do plus checked what my insurance would cover before leaving.

The dental team itself was great! The girls at the front desk are always very polite! **But charging customers $10 fee to cover the Dental’s office PPE Equipment is complete BS and I will not pay it** I have to purchase my own PPE, masks etc. so why am I being charged to purchase yours? Absolutely Pathetic 😞

The staff was very polite and helpful. The nurse, Kat, was amazing and very helpful. Dr. Black was terrific and gentle with an almost-ninety-year-old woman in a wheelchair.Wish the dentist chairs were easier for handicapped folks to get in and out of, but Kat did her best to make her comfortable.Looking forward to going back next week for the preliminary dentures.

I had gone too DentalWorks in Lexington NC, for a first-time visit at 8:00 am. Before 10:00 am I was on my way home while accomplishing filling out all medical forms, a full dental exam, x-rays, consultation. Along with fitting me in for a teeth cleaning. The whole experience was rather nice, plus affordable!

Very nice, up to date facility. Friendly, informative professionals and staff. One issue that I feel should be addressed is the training of your “billing” person.1. She did not know how a deductible worked.2. As for the deductible in my case, she failed to research whether it had already been met before presenting me with the total cost. Therefore, she was going to have me pay it again, even though it had been satisfied In an earlier appointment. Her comment was it would take a while to review my history. Suggesting she didn’t bother to check. Very disappointing.Over all, happy with the professionalism and care from the Dr, hygienist and assistant. Need to work in training the billing clerk.

I havent been to the dentist in a very long time and knew Id need some extensive work. The staff is wonderful and explained the treatment method wed use and gave me some options on how to proceed. I had to bring my 4 month old and they even helped keep her occupied while they were finishing my cleaning. I high recommend them to anyone!

I loved the steps taken to insure safety during the pandemic. Everyone was so nice from the front desk all the way through to the dentist. I saw Dr. Baxley and she was very attentive,answering any questions I may have throughout the exam. Its great that they do offer a discount plan (Dentalworks Advantage) to people who do not have dental insurance. It really assisted me with the cost involved. Ive been going here for a few yrs and had insurance until I lost my job. The employees worked to make a painful tooth extraction more affordable by introducing me to a plan for ppl with no insurance. Not to mention they took all safety measures very seriously during this pandemic. Very kind ppl.

I have been under the dental care of the folks at dental works for about 8 or 10 months. I genuinely look forward to visiting them. They are a wonderful group of people.They are caring, personable, jovial, and very very good at what they do. This includes everyone from the Dr.s to the secretarial staff. Cannot say enough good things. You will enjoy your visit there.

Had a great experience during my appointment. Rachel, the dental hygienist, did a great job cleaning my teeth and explaining to me about a concern I had. The rest of the staff were friendly and conducted themselves in a professional manner. Returning back next month for wisdom teeth extraction. Hopeful that the visit will go well.

I had an emergency situation with a broken tooth. They worked me in the next morning. My previous Dentist had a 2 month wait. The office staff was awesome , and Dr. Baxley and her tech were awesome.

I went into the Lexington Dental Works at about 4:30 pm on a Thursday evening when they closed at 5:30. My tooth was killing me and I knew it would need to be extracted. I came in as an emergency and was checking out at by 5:45! The staff were wonderful and patient. The extraction was painless, I felt only pressure and with my insurance, I was out the door for less than $23.

This was my first visit. I found the staff and Amelia Baxley very courteous and very willling to listen and answer any questions I had. I found it to be a very pleasant experience and I would refer DentalWorks to my friends. My husband will be making an appointment soon.

I have always been extremely uncomfortable about going to any dentist. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. When I was called to go back to be checked out the assistant was friendly and that helped to put me at ease. When the dentist came in and introduced himself to me it made me feel as if I was and actual person they cared about and not just a random patient. I will recommend Dentalworks to anyone who asks me. There is a great group of people working there.
