The PGx test is AMAZING! A few months ago, we did the PGx test, and our pain doctor changed medications for both of us. And our lives have been so different since.Here is our story:About 10 years ago, my husband and I were in an accident. He broke ribs, his back in 19 places, and cracked his skull. I suffered with damage to my knees, back, head, and lost the ability to have children. Our saving grace was that we both retained the ability to walk, albeit it is quite the struggle at times. Everything in our life changed in an instant, and I had hope that we would overcome all of this in a few years. After a decade of living with terrible chronic pain, I had really given up on having a functioning life. He and I work as a team: he stays at home and cooks for us and I work. My life had been reduced to resting in bed and getting out only to work, and he didnt leave home except for an hour or 2 during the weekend, almost always with a cane. It is so incredible how big of a change this has had on our lives. Yesterday, we went out to grocery shop on a Wednesday! Mid-work week!! I know it may not seem like an exciting event to other people, but we have lived on grocery delivery for years. And going out for more than an hour, not on Saturday, has just been unheard of for us.I can never describe how grateful I am for this test and my Doc for making changes to our medications. My pain typically stays at about a 7/10 with breakthrough pain of 9/10. I cant work, and I was only able to be out of bed for 10 to 12 hours per day because the pain was so bad. Stay away These people they aren’t even a lab . They lie and deceive people . All samples received go to another lab and they bill you at a higher rate. Just a middle man . Then they slap a label with their logo and pretend they ran it .
