If I could give a zero, I would. I called the office in Lewisville twice this week, left messages but no one called me back, I called again this morning and when someone finally answered, I expressed having called twice before and she said ok, how can I help you and I said you just did, thank you.I dont know how she has a job, with people like that, you cant run an efficient office. I heard a lot of good things about the doctors but cant ignore front office

This was my first visit to the office today and everything went very smoothly. Extremely nice staff. And I agree with all of the fabulous reviews Dr. Dwyer has gotten. She and her assistant put me right at ease. My experience today was outstanding.

Dr. Kourtney Dwyer is outstanding and the overall practice is also excellent. I experienced a retinal detachment and Dr. Dwyer was able to refer me locally to a specialist and helped save my vision in the process. After retinal reattachment surgery, I also developed an extremely large cataract and Dr. Dwyer was again able to successfully remove the cataract and restore my vision to near 20/20 perfection despite the challenges my case presented. Dr. Dwyer is also one of the best doctors of any kind I’ve ever been too. She takes the time to answer every question and has an outstanding positive attitude. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Dr. Dwyer for any type of eye surgery or treatment. Thank you for setting a high bar on patient care and for running a top notch office team as well. I wish every medical office and doctor was able to operate at this same outstanding level.

I had such a thorough examination from Dr. Dwyer and staff and feel so relieved to find someone that I feel I can have confidence in the care given. I received such an extensive explanation of all her findings that she totally covered the answers to the TWO PAGES of questions that I had for her before I even got to ask them! She made sure that I didnt have any questions so I looked over my list and realized she had covered them all in her explanation.

I brought my mother in for her First Opthalmology appointment ever. Anyone who knows her knows she is always anxious about doctor visits . Dr Dwyer made my mom feel so comfortable , had wonderful bed side manner , my moms felt heard and safe undergoing the cataract surgery . Doctor was also very thorough in her assessments and all of the staff were such a pleasure . Would definitely recommend for sure !

Best eye surgeon/ophthalmologist ever. I just love Dr Dwyer. Had surgeries with her three times and have rave reviews for her. Her staff is also great offering a very inviting atmosphere at North Dallas Eye Associates’ Denton location.

I know these reviews probably dont matter especially to the Doctors and Staff, but these place is horrible. The absolute worst! Went in to have to get one thing done, it wasnt during my visit, I was told to come back in 3 weeks but, but they didnt things I did not need during my visit and got charged outrageously for it. Great way to treat a new patient. Thanks for nothing!

Worse place ever to get your glasses. I have waited 5 weeks to get them. First they did a bad prescription then they told me they would redo it and get me new glasses. I waited another 3 weeks and now they tell me the guy running that section left and they have idea if they put in my new prescription. This is insane.

Im not sure where all these negative reviews came from, but dont let them scare you. I went there today, and the experience was great. The waiting room was about 3/4 full for a 3:30 appt. I saw Dr Ku, and was checked out and heading home by 4:10. Amazing. The staff was courteous, professional and friendly.

I am having the same experiences as George stated in his review. I have been waiting on a refund and apparently the only person I can talk to or even have look at this is the “billing manager” who hasn’t returned my phone calls or emails. When I call to address this I was told to “wait a few days” and if she doesn’t call you try calling back” They are running a circus here. Like George said quick to take money but slow to pay. Very disorganized. I wouldn’t recommend if you plan on using insurance.

The wait time is horrible. Seems to me that they overbook. Waiting room always has too many people with the same appointment time. My grandpas appointment was at 8:45am and we arrived on time and we are still waiting. As people get up to go to the back I don’t see them disinfecting the chairs they where sitting in previously.

I made an appointment and showed up the first time at the lewisville office they said I didnt have an appointment but after a wait the doctor saw me not a very nice or friendly doctor then I made another appointment and even called before I showed up and they told me I had an 8:30 appointment but when I got there they told me I was not on the list worst place ever

The staff is courteous and professional. Nice office with ample seating. I seldom wait more than 10 minutes and complete my entire office visit within 20 minutes.

Im not sure why everyone is complaining about the front desk associates, they have always been courteous, and up-front with my visits. The wait time is longer than other offices, but the Doctors and Assistants are among the best in Dallas. Ive been to 4 or 5 practices and this is one of the most advanced and organized Ive been to.

I switched to Dr. Ku after a bad experience with another doctor in a different practice. I love him! When problems surfaced that required a different doctor, he referred me to Dr. Agrawal, who is also fabulous. She gives me injections, which were horrifying to me because I cannot stand to have my eyes touched. She was so gentle, explained everything carefully, and did a wonderful job of handling a terrified patient. I would never want to change doctors.That said, their practice management is horrible. After a batch of injections, Dr. Agrawal cleared me for refraction so I could get badly needed new glasses. I made an appontment to see Dr. Ku at the Flower Mound location for refraction, but received a phone call telling me that Dr. Ku wanted me to come to the Lewisville office on a difference day. I protested, asked for an explanation, and finally the representative promised to have a manager call me. I never received the call, and today I trekked all the way to Lewisville, only to find that refraction was the only thing being done, and Dr. Ku was not even there, so the requested consult concerning contact lenses was not possible and I need to make yet another appointment. There was absolutely no reason to change my appointment and there is no way Dr. Ku asked for that to be done--he was in surgery and not there, as I said earlier.My personal opinion is that an overzealous manager was trying to get me to Lewisville, where they have an optical shop, so that I would buy my new glasses from them. Or maybe the manager is on a power trip--I dont know the reason, because no one could explain the mix up. They created a major inconvenience for me and now I will have to return and spend more money for a contact lens consult, since Dr. Ku wasnt there. GRRRRR.While the doctors and their assistants are wonderful, if it was me, I would fire the managers who are pulling this kind of shenanigans and aggravating patients for no apparent reason.

Wait time is ridiculous. You may as well bring a meal and something to read if you dont go completely blind before they see you.They transfer you from room to room, seeing person to person.Their scheduling is subpar, substandard, and not even mediocre. Got scheduled by the staff for an appointment on 1/16 and they called to cancel saying that they wont even be able to see me, that they scheduled me on accident even though upon scheduling, the scheduler and I had a thorough understanding. Then they called today saying they never officially scheduled me. THEN WHAT THE HELL WAS I DOING SCHEDULING MY APPOINTMENTS WITH THE SCHEDULER?!Doctors try to push expensive procedures that cost out of pocket for their profitable agenda.Not really sure how these people are still in business

I had a question on my bill that I overpaid and left 4 over the last 3 week and cannot get anyone to call me back. They are quick to collect money and very slow to return payment.

I like Dr. Ku, but the office staff is terrible! The appointment desk is always unavailable and when the recording asks you to leave a message dont even bother because no one will ever return your call. I just spent 11 minutes on hold before being disconnected.

Horrible place - read the reviews before you go. I should have known when we walked in when we heard someone complaining about the wait time. (this office wasnt even busy)Made this appointment 2 weeks ago to see the 1 doctor who does contacts. Today we go and hes not in this office today despite verifying with office staff when appointment was made that the appointment would be in Flower Mound. VERY RUDE person at the front desk - never apologizing for their incompetence - just says, you will have to go to Frisco in 2 weeks.If you cant take care of the first appointment, you wont get a 2nd chance. While this may be the only ophthalmologist in this area, you arent the only ones in the Metroplex. We will never go back here.

The secretary with a black accent treated me badly when trying to make my appointment and I denigrate myself for my insurance
