Eye got an eye checkup today with the staff at Dr. Hamilton’s office today. The photo is of the painless glaucoma “puff” test. The staff was fun to work with and super speedy at getting me in and out quickly. The office was clean and comfortable. Thank you for taking care of my eyeballs.

My son broke my glasses a few days ago and with an old prescription I knew I’d have to see an optometrist for a new prescription. I’m so super happy that Dr. Hamilton is within walking distance from where I work. She was extremely thorough, she cared about my vision and how comfortable I was. Although, I became increasingly frustrated with trying to put my contacts in after years of not wearing them, her staff was incredibly patient with me; even with the under the mask f bombs I dropped. I want to thank them for putting up with me. I would highly recommend. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!

Dr. Hamilton is a very thorough eye doctor who cares about your eye health and takes the time to explain why certain things she does are important for your eye health. I felt like I was in very competent hands and I am very pleased with my experience. She goes above and beyond for her patients to ensure that you are happy with your prescription. She is an excellent doctor. I highly recommend her and will continue to use her for my eye exams!

Was told over the phone and it shows on the Care Credit website that they except Care Credit as a payment. Went to the appointment, even tried to pay for my exams before the appointment and they said i could pay at the end. Exams were done, went to pay, and guess what...THEY DONT TAKE CARE CREDIT! and when i told them that it shows on the website that they are a provider, the doctor rudely tells me thats their problem. Uh no maam thats your problem!! Its misleading to people and if you no longer take Care Credit then you need to be responsible and contact them and have your information removed from their site!! Very unprofessional and rude!

Although the price was more than I wanted to pay out of pocket, I was able to be seen on short notice, compared to a 3 week wait period for bargain eye doctors in Denton.Of note, I got the prescription filled at the Sams Club in Lewisville and, at first, I appreciated their desire to make sunglasses out of frames that were not meant to be used with custom lenses. And after it was determined that this was not possible, I opted for a more standard pair of frames. When I went to pick these up, I discovered they had used some bulky frames, not the ones I selected. When I returned again, the frames I had selected disappeared from the shelf and were eventually found stashed in the cabinet below. There was a thread of absurd, childish dishonesty throughout the whole process, but to which my disregarding patience is well-suited for. Finally, they made another pair of glasses which presented with a prominent distortion of vision within the left lens. Despite the myriad problems, they had me convinced that they had made the final frames with exacting precision according to the prescription so I returned to Dr. Hamiltons office to see if there had been some error in her evaluation.I was not sure who to trust, at this point, however, after a thorough re-examination by Dr. Hamilton, where she explained the slight, acquired astigmatism and went through the exam process using the newly made glasses as reference, I arrived back at the original script specs and I understood the problem was with Sams Club, not the prescription, which I then took to the Lewisville Costco and had a great pair of glasses made the first try.I am not saying that any doctor is infallible but I believe Dr. Hamilton would take care of the problem if there were an actual error in the prescription. There was not. However, the original exam was quick, which, perhaps, some mistake for a lack of thoroughness. In this regard, Dr. Hamiltons own efficiency and aptitude may be her greatest weakness, inviting doubt into the minds of dummies like myself. In any case, I appreciate the time, effort and concern Dr. Hamilton (and staff!) put into attempting to fix this non-problem.

I used to sing their praises. No more. I stopped by to get a copy of my records, and after pulling the file, opening it up, commenting on the amount of notes... I was then told they couldnt make a copy, and that I would have to wait until the next day. I then asked if I could at least read through it quickly, since I knew what to look for... Nope. What is this... Some twisted episode of Seinfeld? No explanation, no reasons given, nothing. How often do people have an urgent need for their records... Without having an urgent issue? This is someones health your dealing with, not what style if glasses Im choosing. Now Im suspicious of the reason, and wondering if pages will magically disappear, or if records will be altered. Why would you need to review records from 6 months ago before giving me a copy of what is in your hands? Did you miss something and are concerned I may have stumbled upon it? There really is no valid reason.Terrible.

In response to Eddie Delgados and Tracie Kroenerts reviews: Mr. Delgado has been in contact by Dr. Hamilton and was explained that his records were not given to him because they were electronic, and the young lady helping him was unable to print them for him because she was new and did not know how. He did come a few minutes before closing when no one else was available to help him. The records he was referring to that he saw were only his own forms (personal history, etc) that he has filled out in the past. The staff member did not honestly disclose her inability to explain this to Mr. Delgado and was soon let go after other inappropriate behavior. Patient care is the most important thing to this office and this patient is aware of the invaluable part that Dr. Hamilton has played in his care, hence stating that he sang her praises. In response to Ms. Kroenerts review, she contacted the same staff member who, again, refused to help her with waiving certain fees that the patient actually agreed to. This office cares more about keeping patients happy than keeping a few dollars, so when we learned of the situation, the patient refused to return any of our phone calls telling her wed be happy to waive the fees. Instead, it appears she has found more pleasure in writing bad reviews in as many places as she could.
