Visiting from out of town my daughter needed nose pads for her glasses. Tried a number of store, none of the carried the right kind for her glasses. At Shopko Optical we were greeted by very friendly ladies. They took a look at the glasses and said they could help. They were wonderful. My daughter now has her glass fixed and comfortable. Thank you so much!

We were greeted with friendly hello and taken care of through out our eye exam. They were very helpful finding new frames for me, because I had eyes dilated. They explained all the charges, insurance coverage and specials. They listened to our needs and made our visit calm, friendly and easy.

A couple days after my appointment now, and Im so impressed and pleased. Ive tried contacts off and on (think 8 different brands or so), and Ive always hated them. I thought I just didnt like contacts, but after visiting Dr. Harris and finding some that I can wear with zero irritation at all, I realize that it was the fit and prescription that werent right! He was so thorough and just really knows what hes doing. Ive been to optometrists in the Seattle area as well as the Portland area, and he is by far the best of the best, right here in our little valley. Im excited to get my glasses in as well, but I doubt that Ill be wearing them as often as I used to, now that contacts are an option.

I had a fantastic experience. Very friendly and informative. The doctor took the time to explain my issues and how they would be corrected. As long as they are around, I will go nowhere else.Update: Went back in to get a second pair of glasses and yet again they were amazing. Jennifer helped me again and she is awesome. She took time to answer my questions and explained how to clean my glasses properly. Second visit in a month and they definitely secured a customer for life.

On a recent visit to Lewiston I took in two family members that were in desperate need of having the nose pads replaced on 3 pair of glasses. My mom’s one pair of glasses were so bad I’m surprised they weren’t cutting her nose! The technicians were very kind and efficient. They not only replaced the nose pads but gave all 3 pairs a good cleaning and adjustments. Their Covid protocols were also very good.

Fantastic service, friendly staff. Happily went over all details, ensured I really understood how my prescription was being decided, how we can proceed if it doesnt work correctly for me, etc. Great group of people, will definitely return here for my next exam.

Went in 4 months ago had a male intern help with my glasses purchase! I told him I want photo grey glasses and dont want glare protection, and guess what I got the exact opposite! Will never go back to them I have been getting my glasses for over 20 yrs! And when you tell me you cant do anything because its been 4 months and I was suppose to have a 2 year warranty I paid for. Well shitko you wont get anymore money from me! Keep interns in the background until they know what the hell they are doing!

They are pretty busy, plenty of staff on hand most days. Brenda usually does my exams, shes very friendly and easy to work with. They dont take my insurance, so it costs me a little more. But it beats driving up to Post falls to one who will. They have provided my glasses and contacts for the past 8 years, a new woman was helping me this last time. She needed assistance, but I didnt mind being her test person. In and out of there for exam and fitting in less then hour.

THE FOLLOWING REMARKS ARE DIRECTED AT THE STAFF OF SHOPKO EYECARE CENTER AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH BRENDA OFFERDAHL, OD (AN INDEPENDENT DOCTOR).I have my prescription evaluated annually and after the exam I indicated to the staff that I did not wish to purchase frames/lenses from their store. I wear ansi safety glasses that are NOT offered by Shopko in the model I prefer. Once the staff realized I would be buying elsewhere they would not even measure my lens heights, a very simple thing to offer. After spending thousands of dollars over ten years with this business, I expected better treatment as a customer. If it happens again, I will not return nor will I continue to send them customers... which Ive been doing for years.
