When i look back on my life as i continue to age i will view way of life as a sacred space. A place that gave me the room and tools to finally grow in a life recovery. The staff were all so well experinced and caring. Many days it would find its way to the top of my gratitude list. Ive been in and out of alot of recovery communities and i feel so much gratitude for finding way of life when i did. Cause i was teetering and could of went either way. Thank god they helped me choose the right path. Jill, danielle, melissa are all top notch therapists. Ryan, malvo , steve all great staff with long term recovery. Amanda and barb great leaders that give everyone inspiration and whatever help they need. Anyone serious about being sober long term would be lucky to call way of life home!!!

Way of Life saved my life. Thanks to Barb, Amanda, Susie and Rachel, I have built a sober network and have the support and structure to be the person I always wanted to be. I have been to all three counties Way of Life offers and would send anyone looking for a structured and supportive housing community in order to recover. Each house has a homey feel and the staff go out of their way to ensure everyone’s safety and keep recovery the top priority. These women were instrumental in turning my life around and I would suggest Way of Life to every and anyone who want the best shot at becoming a productive and responsible person. I have made family for life in the staff and clients of Way of Life and will forever be eternally grateful for everything they do.

My experience at Way Of Life was truly life changing. When I got to Way Of Life in January I was really struggling. Not once did Way Of Life give up on me. The care at Way Of Life was very individualized. I always felt cared for and taken care of. I was in multiple different sober houses at the Way Of Life program. All of the houses were very clean and beautiful places to live. Those houses were my home for 6 months & I genuinely felt at home there. I would definitely without a doubt recommend this place to anybody struggling. The care at Way Of Life is phenomenal and I have never been to a sober living where they care this much about there clients. Barb & Amanda believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself and helped bring me out of a very dark place. I wish I could even give more than five stars for this place.

When rehab ends and life begins you need to choose your next step carefully. Way of life provides structure and camaraderie while still allowing you to engage in lifes challenges and beauty.Be sure to stick with the winners....the people taking the program seriously.People that dont take recovery seriously die...that includes some of my very close friends. As with any situation, you need to stand up and ask for what you want/need for your recovery but Barb will do anything and everything to help you on your journey. I had a great experience here.

I am so pleased with the program and staff at Way Of Life recovery. I came to Levittown, Pennsylvania with nothing but a backpack and a lost sense of who I am. Setting aside my overwhelming drug addiction and behaviors, I couldnt thrive on my own, I could only survive. After I decided to go to rehab @St. Josephs Institution in Port Matilda PA, I was placed in Barbara Williamsons house on New Falls Road. I was treated with individual and genuine care. Any time I would start slipping I received a call from Barb or one of her staff personally and I dont know many places that will take such an individual interest in each and every resident in a program. I worked several jobs and I can not only support myself but I am now able to give back to the AA community. That is what its all about. This is an exceptional experience and I would recommend it to anybody who wants to improve themselves and find a new way to live. 5 stars!

I live and manage at the Way of Life house in Delaware County. This is my first time in recovery, and I could not have asked for a better housing situation. When I first arrived, I felt welcomed right away. I have lived at the house for 7 months now and have loved every minute of it. Our houses have an amazing community and we all look out for each other to keep everyone sober. I recommend these houses to all in recovery as a bridge back to living a normal life without drugs.

Having (unsuccessfully) been to several other recovery houses in the area, Way of Life was simply the best. The houses are all in great shape, new or updated and feel like home. The owner Barb, will go above and beyond for her residents any way she can to help them succeed. The structure, support and feeling like a part of a family was crucial for me the first few months in recovery and laid a strong foundation that just grew being there. Ive since been able to get my life back on track, hold a job and moved into my own place. I cant express enough gratitude to Barb, her staff and Way of Life itself.

Just past a year clean and sober, for the first time in my life. I took a big scary move after rehab this time and relocated from North Jersey to Levittown, PA to live in Way of Life’s recovery houses. Very glad I did — the folks I’ve met here have changed my life. From the other men in recovery I’ve met and bonded with in the houses, to the caring and involved owner Barb Williamson, everyone at Way of Life has helped plug me into real recovery and showed me how to live without a drink or a drug.Special shout out to the COO, Susie. A bit of a nut for sure, but she deeply cares for the people in her houses and it’s clear this is more than a job for her. Can’t recommend Way of Life enough. If you’ve decided that drugs and booze aren’t working anymore, and have been having a hard time staying stopped, this place can show you how recovery works as long as you’re willing to change.

As a respected psychiatrist and Addictions Specialist I deal with Dual diagnosis patients everyday who are in active detox and/or early recovery. I was very disheartened to hear the horror stories about so many recovery houses in the Greater Philadelphia Area from my patients personal experiences expect for Way of Life Recovery Houses. I continued to hear nothing but positive things about Barb and her recovery houses so I decided to pop in unannounced and visit several Way of Life Recovery Houses and I was pleasantly surprised. The clients had nothing but positive feedback about their experiences, actively motivated in their recovery and felt supported and respected. Its reassuring to know that their are honest, genuine people in this business.

When I found the Way OF Life recovery houses I was 60 days sober. The first 30 days were in a treatment and the next 30 were in another organizations recovery house. I was struggling with employment fell behind a week on rent and was kicked out on the streets. I was lost with no real idea of how I was going to find another place to sleep. I called 4 other recovery houses before I called Barb. All telling me that without money your not getting in. After speaking with Barb I was in the New Falls house with in an hour. The house was beautiful! New cabinets, floors, the rooms have clean carpets and great mattresses, the fridge was full of food and if that was all it would have been enough but its just a start. The group of guys that I met in this house are a big reason Im still sober today 7 months later. They all care and make sure you have a ride to meeting, job interveiws, the Dr. Whatever it is the house supports you the best they can. Barb holds events where all of her houses meet and fellowship over fun games great food and fireworks. She has a therapist stop by once a month for a in depth check in. She cares about our growth and is around to cheer on our victories and help push us through our shortcomings. The Way Of Life recovery houses are the very best. Thanks Barb and Susie for all the heart you put into what you do.Brian Dalton

This is hands down the best recovery house I have ever lived in. Ive been to Florida 4 times, all over New Jersey, and PA and lived in a ton of different houses and nothing even compares to this housing and program. The housing is extremely clean and everything is renovated and brand new. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is also supplied 5-6 days a week. The owner Barb Williamson is also in recovery and is one of the most caring and thorough people Ive ever met. She truly cares for every individual in the house and will do absolutely anything to help you. Her IOP is amazing and includes, massages, therapeutic groups, life skills, help finding a job, great counselors, food, medical staff, and trips to the Newtown Athletic Club. This program has truly saved my life and Im so grateful that Way Of Life has supported me on this journey. I dont know where I would be without it.

Hands down the best recovery house/IOP program my son has ever been in! 5 yrs of addiction -Florida, California you name it, hes been there.. My thoughts of him in another recovery house were the same thoughts of every house hes been to. I was wrong and so thankful for this house/IOP. Its very structured, clean and the owner Barb Williamson is very much involved and caring its amazing! She keeps me posted on my sons progress and just reaches out. My son is 23, she doesnt have to do that. Just brings light, love and faith to the program. Im happy and satisfied how things are going. When you say WAY OF LIFE, my kid is actually learning this sober WAY OF LIFE for the first time. Great people to be involved with. Knowing hes with people that care, im at ease.

When I first heard i was going to a recovery house in Levittown I was skeptical. I went through treatment at Mirmont and went to extended treatment at ambrosia down in Florida at Port. St. Lucie. All of the recovery houses I have ever been in were flop houses or had no structure. People would do whatever they wanted to do. As soon as I arrived to Way of Life I was welcomed with open arms. They helped me with transportation from the airport, court dates, and meetings. Everyone was so nice to me in the house and made me feel a part of. We went to play pool, bowling, dave and busters, six flags, dorney park, hiking in the appalachian mountains, and even went to far away meetings in New York City. It helped me form bounds in the house with people who actually care about me and want to see me succeed in life. The owner of way of life helped me get employment right away as well. Way of life has saved my life and the structure of making me get a sponsor, home group, commitment, and do the steps has had a huge impact on me and has made me become a better man on a daily basis. Im constantly learning more and more living in this house. I attend Intensive Outpatient Therapy at Supreme Wellness which the owner of way of life started. I was the first patient and it has been one of the best Iop I have ever been in. My Therapist is phenomenal and I have shared with her things I was going to take to the grave, but by getting them out I can deal with them, process them and learn how to cope with them in the right way. If I am not having a good day at IOP I can get a massage or a facial and just relax in a very peaceful and serene setting to help with turning the day around. Overall, Way of Life has saved my life and I am truly blessed to be able to be apart of the program and has given me an entirely different outlook on recovery houses because I had such a bad view of them before and was a chronic relapser. Thanks to the owner and management my life is getting back on track and I am doing the next right thing and trying to help others as well.

Decent house (New Falls location). I would not recommend this location in Levittown as the public transportation is horrible if one doesnt have a car. When they say food is included that means ramen noodle and eggs. Dinner is supposed to be cooked by a rotating house member Sunday thru Thursday however this is not always the case. The guys I lived with were for the most part very serious about their recovery. The house manager is, in my opinion, a bit too immature for the position. He rarely interacted with the other guys. He was not someone I would go to with a real problem.Theft was an issue while I lived there. The issue was brushed under the rug.It was like living in a college dorm but with guys of high school mentality.
