THIS PLACE IS FRAUDULENT! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO STAY CLEAN! They are up to no good, making a profit off of the family of addicts and doing nothing to create a safe environment for people in recovery. They most definitely turn a blind eye to people getting high under their roof. The actual owner is well spoken and educated so it can be easy to fall into their trap, but let me be the one to warn you that this is not anywhere near a good recovery house. There are plenty of other reliable recovery houses to go to in the area. Please do your research!!

My loved one is in Kensington getting high right 9/11/20 now and has been the whole time there. They won’t test him as long as rent in paid they don’t care.

My brother spent 6 months here and I visited often. He was happy, sober, and supported. The owner was very respectful and caring, and ran a tight ship despite not always being on-site. The house was always clean, calm, and orderly. His fellow residents were all nice and welcoming and seemed to get along great. Unlike many recovery homes, Harmony House allows Suboxone, which is a critical part of treatment for many in recovery. I would highly recommend this house for you or your loved one.

I currently live in this house and I will say it is by far the best recovery house I have been in. The rent is comparable to any other recovery house around and this is the only house I know of that has an on site therapist there four nights a week. They are very caring and respectful staff. If you are serious about recovery and staying clean I feel this is your best option. Of course if youre getting high or not paying rent or doing your chore youre not gonna be very welcomed but what recovery house would be. I have been living here for almost ten weeks and honestly to his house and staff have been a huge part in saving my life. I am on medical assisted treatment and this is one of the only houses around that will not discriminate against that as everyone has their own recovery plan. If you are on a maintenance program this is your best option. Also this year for Christmas the owner, Lisa Williams, went out of her way to get all of the residents gifts. And they werent just cheap little gifts they were electronics and what not. In my opinion this is the best recovery house in levittown. This is coming from someone currently living there

FYI My nephew was a part of Harmony House 6 months ago. Its important that I let it be known that Harmony House in every way attended his needs from a totally broken human being to a happy member of society. Im just grateful to know that there is such a place on planet earth. The owner and management were great.

My son has lived in Harmony House for three years and it has been a very good experience for him. Weve visited him several times and the house seemed to be in good shape and a nice place to come home to after work. His fellow residents were a nice group of young men and they seemed to get along well. Harmony House also allows Suboxone, which often is a critical part of treatment for many in opioid recovery. I would highly recommend this house based on my sons experience.

Provides the structure, reasonable compassion that one needs in early recovery while you develop your freedom from self. There is a tactful way that Harmony House has of reminding residents of the desperation many had when seeking help, it puts everything in perspective. In life we want a comfortable place to live, in early recovery we want comfortable guidance. Harmony House exists because someone honestly cares.

I had a friend who was staying here a few months ago. I made frequent visits. The place was filthy and most of the residents were getting high and drunk, a couple of them even got caught smoking crack in one of the bedrooms and were still allowed to stay. From what I have seen, the poor reviews on here are the most accurate and the positive reviews are a complete fabrication. The owner is a mentally unstable lying woman who lives in Mexico all year and collects a lot of money from the poor guys who live here. I would not suggest this house to anyone unless they want to get bitten up by bedbugs and live with people getting high.

I’ve lived at Harmony house for the past 3 years and I would recommend it to any young man looking for a safe and structured living environment. Levittown is inundated with similar type recovery houses, most designed to be very institutional. What makes Harmony House special is it’s home-like atmosphere and friendly management; I’ve never felt intimidated or looked down on by the staff here. Issues in the house are addressed in a professional manner, residents are expected to perform weekly chores and make meetings. Thishouse gave me the tools to put my life back together, and today I have great relationships with my family and friends. I’ve worked my way up in a great job and apply the same work ethic there that I learned at Harmony House. If you or someone you know are struggling this is a great option.

I needed Harmony House at a time in my life in which things were out of control. Lisa Williams is a Certified Recovery Specialist with many years of experience in the area of recovery. Harmony House proved to be one of the best decisions Ive ever made. No recovery house is perfect. By definition, a recovery house must take a certain amount of risk in order to function. Having said this, the screening process as well as the stringent requirements to maintain good standings as a resident is sensible and effective. I would not hesitate, even for a second, to recommend my dearest friends or closest family to the healthy environment of Harmony House. You simply cannot be in better hands!

Not even rated one star. Zero stars. Youll find absouletly NO HARMONY in this place. Dilapidated, filthy, bug infested house. Owner does NOTHING to upkeep this house. She lives in Mexico and interviews potential recovering addicts on the phone. She has no control over her recovery house and no one to oversee what is going on in the house resulting in tremendous turnover. The claim that she is a Certified in addiction and recovery is a big joke. Shes sitting on a beach somewhere in Mexico collecting over $600 a month from these poor, helpless, 11 guys and dosent give a damn about any of them. DONT EVER even consider this house for recovery!!!!!!!!!

Lets start with the fact that the owner claims to have an MBA in psychology, when in fact she just took a 40 hour course to become a Certified Recovery Specialist. When I showed up last week no one had even cleaned my room to set it up. The sheets on the bed were soiled and unclean. It took me 3 hours just to get the room suitable to live, that doesnt count my roommates part of the room its still a pig sty. The house has bed bugs and not one word was mentioned to me about them until all my clothes were already in the house. The upstairs bathroom is leaking sewer water into the downstairs one, has been this way for two weeks now. The backyard is riddled with trash, rubbage, and old broken furniture. I left there 4 days ago with no plan to return, this place is a disgusting pig sty that is falling apart. The owner lives in Mexico and is not involved with the house at all. And dont ask her about fixing something, she will just spin you. Do yourself a favor and dont go here, people get high and they do nothing! Im sure the owner will comment something stupid like sorry it didnt work out, but understand it didnt work out because the place is deplorable and I left for such reasons. Please go visit this place before you pay one dime so you arent disappointed like I was when you get there, this place is literally falling apart and nothing gets done about anything. I would never recommend this house to anyone!! Also I was not asked to leave, I left on my own accord due to the state of the house, particulary the bathroom and bed bugs. Again please go to visit this house before you commit to it, it is not recognized by the Bucks County Commission of Recovery Houses which is why you cant get grants from anyone to go there. Please feel free to contact me via Google for pictures of how the house looked as to the day I left, along with pictures of all the broken things in the house, and screetshot conversations with the owner (while she was in Mexico, not right next door.) detailing my complaints about the living conditions at the house. I also find it funny that in her reply to my review she claims I was asked to leave, when I left on my own accord after only one week there, not three. Ill post the screenshot conversation with the house manager telling him I will not be coming back except to get my belongings. Its hardening seeing someone who is supposedly in recovery not practicing principles and lying on review comments to try and make her recovery house look better than it is. If a bunch of people give this place bad reviews and only one (the owner) says otherwise, who do we believe the owner or the masses? It seems pretty simple...

*BEDBUGS* I was a resident at this “recovery house” for about 6 weeks and my experience there was anything but harmonious. When I arrived there at about 2pm that day, there was nobody around or awake to greet me. There was one person there who was sleeping at the time. The place was filthy, smelled horrible, and falling apart. There is old furniture and garbage all over the backyard. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting until I cleaned it properly. The rent is 160 a week which does not include food (unlike most houses). There were bedbugs in the room I was in and I was completely tore up with bites (which I have pictures of) itching for weeks. I was told to wash my clothes and bedding as well as vaccum my room with a vaccum that could barely pick any dirt off the floor. I had to remove the furniture from the room, clean, steam, and spray everything with bed bug spray. It took me 8 hours to clean that room and wash my clothes. After almost a month of complaining about bed bug bites they finally called an exterminator. I was told I’d be credited money and to keep quiet about it. Some of the guys here are miserable, lazy, do not have a job, do not want a job and lay in bed all day. Others who “cannot find a job” are given “jobs” to do around the house to get credit for rent. Most of the residents including the house manager who is only there in the mornings, talk badly about the other guys, make up rumors, and create drama . There is constant negativity throughout the whole house. About half of the house actually goes to meetings while the other half just go to a church and take pictures as it is a requirement to take 5 pictures a week at an AA or NA meeting. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have 4 beds crammed in each with furniture in the middle of the floor and are cluttered/messy. As for myself, I started a full time job after a few weeks, and continued the treatment process through outpatient counseling and attending as many meetings as I could while keeping myself as busy and productive as possible because being in that environment was the last thing I needed. I was asked to leave because I was behind on rent like a few others were and had gotten a tattoo as a gift from my sister. One of the residents in the house had made up a story to the owner that I had received a “huge” paycheck of 800 dollars and went out to buy myself a tattoo with what was assumed as my own money instead of giving her rent. This was after I had given her as much money as I could from my first check and agreed to pay 400 every other week for the next few payments to catch up. Before I even heard from the owner about the matter to explain what really happened, she had told the house manager to kick me out on thanksgiving day. My family and I kept trying to contact the owner who lives in Mexico and is never at the house. She continued to ignore our calls. When she finally answered my call the next day, she said she did not believe me and didn’t wanna speak to me about it, that she believes the person in the house who told her this story. So by this point I was happy to leave regardless of the situation it was putting me in. If you or a loved one needs to go to a recovery house this is the last place I would recommend. As stated earlier the place is a dump, full of negativity and crawling with bugs. I would hardly call it a Recovery house at all. The owner picks and chooses who stays and goes based on favoritism. She knows people do drugs and drink IN THE HOUSE while allowing most of them to stay even after their drug test results come up positive. The owner will write a bs response trying to defend her so called “recovery house” while her primary concern is maintaining her lifestyle in Mexico. Her pictures of the house are out-dated and misleading. If you want to see what the house really looks like please feel free to contact me as I would be happy to save anyone from going through what myself and others in the past have unfortunately experienced here.
