Sometimes words cant express enough how thankful I am of Dr. Meylor & his staff Cindy & Courtney for getting me back on the road to recovery after my horrific auto accident. This is my first major auto accident Ive ever been involved in and had no idea what to do or where to start with receiving treatments for my lower back and neck injuries. Dr. Meylor was instrumental with guiding me through the recovery process, always listened to my concerns, answered a ton of questions, and recommended the next steps I should take. I was in a car accident and had problems with my neck and upper back that have been substantially relieved. This is a wonderful group of people, I couldnt move my neck from an accident and even after one visit I had gained back some range of motion. First visited years ago when I had a week long migraine. I had pulled my lower back out many times in my younger years. Turns out all of that caused a pinched nerve in my lower back, which also caused the migraine. Got fixed up over time with many scheduled visits. I was involved in an MVA in June of 2019. I was referred to Dr. Meylor by a colleague of my GP, and I couldnt have asked for a better doctor! Not only did the therapy heal my shoulder and back from injuries sustained when that careless driver totaled my car with me in it, but I even got a new pillow that has vastly improved the quality of my sleep at night. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful and the very atmosphere exudes positivity. The new facility is great. Everything is always clean and organized. I even tried acupuncture for the first time...Now, about a year and a half later, Im about halfway through my first pregnancy... I plan to start returning to Dr. Meylor for some help with prenatal back pain. Im excited both to experience relief from back pain, and also to see the Meylor office family again. I have been a patient of Dr. Meylor for years. After doing some yard work I was not able to even move my neck any direction on Saturday morning. Dr. Meylor told me to come in first thing Monday morning. XRays were taken and a plan of action was put in place. I was in a car accident February 2020. Didn’t realized I needed to get some real help until I saw that I wasn’t feeling any better. March 9th I started searching for Chiropractors and Meylor seemed like the best option. I made a phone call and they took me in right away.It’s was after the series amount of X-Ray’s that determined that I had some damage done to me during that accident. I began going to Dr. Meylor four days a week. He adjusted my body and allowed me to gain my best strength. He and his staff were very welcoming of me. Really gave me a reason to want to go back. This became more than my recovery, I built a great relationship with the staff there. I would recommend EVERYONE to go to Meylor Chiropractic and Acupuncture for treatment. This doctor helped my neck after my vehicle was slammed by a truck from the side just around Christmas. (Hit and run after the guy attempted to pass me illegally on an on ramp on a super-snowy, icy day.) The rest is the team was accommodating, as well.I am super-impressed with the results. I found Meylor from a simple google search after driving by it a thousand times on 87th. I got into a wreck in July that left me with non stop headaches, and lots of neck and shoulder pain. Let’s not even talk about the top of my back....”(horrible)” I was originally referred to physical therapy. I literally tryed my hardest to do anything they wanted. I got a referral from KU specialist for Meylor Chiropractic and once I started receiving treatments from them within a few weeks I started to feel better than I did before. Within a few more weeks my headaches started to become less and less often and not as bad. A few weeks after that I was at the point when I could do more than I could before I started any process after my wreck. Having grown up in a time when Chiropractor was a bad word, I went to see Dr. Meylor after dislocating 3 ribs during a remodeling project and at the recommendation from my brother. Dr. Meylor not only corrected the rib issue, he fixed issues that I would have never thought could be corrected with chiropractic adjustments. I had issues from my feet to my sinuses. Dr. Meylor has fixed them all. I had so many that have been fixed for long enough now that I cant even remember them all. It is crazy how much more I can do and how much better I feel.And what about Courtney and Claire. How GREAT are they? They call you by name when you walk in. How do they remember all of those names? Its like you are family. Not to mention always smiling and working with precision in what they do. Find that a regular doctors office. I dont know how much younger I feel, but it is a bunch.

Friendly staff I love how theyre always smiling and just making good impressions. I have been going to Dr. Meylor since May 2015, and I have never in my life had a better experience at any other office than Dr. Meylors. Him and his staff are extremely thorough, know you by name, and keep me consistently feeling great.When I first came to Dr. Meylor, I had just moved to KC and one day woke up with a lower back issue. His was the first office I called and they were able to get me in very quickly. He took X-rays, worked out an affordable treatment plan with me, and got me back to almost 100% within a few months. Since then, I have been going on a weekly/semi-weekly basis to maintain what he accomplished with me.Also, I had to have foot surgery this summer from a torn ligament, and he also recommended the foot surgeon I went to (which was a great recommendation - Dr. Meylor knows people who will have your best interest at heart). Dr Meylor also was a huge part in my recovery from surgery as well (even though it was my foot). You wouldnt think that having foot surgery would have such a huge impact on the rest of your body, but it messed with my ankle (from not being able to walk for 6 weeks), my knees and hip (from being out of balance wearing a boot), and my back (from sitting in a chair/bed for 6 weeks recovering). I came to see him after my surgery even when I wasnt weight bearing on my foot to start getting back to normal and it helped IMMENSELY. I had just finished an eight day painting job. That night I thought I had pulled a muscle on my back. The next day I cut the lawn and that night my whole back froze up. I could hardly get around the next day, nor even the next day. I went to my general practitioner, he examined me and said, I need you to see Dr. Meylor, a Chiropractor, that same day I met Dr. Meylor. He took some x-rays, and showed me what was wrong. An arthritic spinal column was causing my aching back. Dr. Meylor started his magic! In just three days I was practically 100% back to normal. He had literally removed all of my aches and pains. Dr. Meylor came to my rescue.

Numbness and tingling in both hands was interfering with my job and quality of life. I am happy to say that after receiving treatment from Dr. Meylor, I no longer have this problem! Courtney and Claire, Dr. Meylors wonderful office team, are absolutely wonderful!! It is evident the entire team truly cares about their patients and dig deep to get to the root of the issue. Dr. Meylor and his staff have been wonderful to work with. I came in experiencing a lot of lower back pain and a constant knot behind my shoulder blade. I no longer have either of the painful symptoms. I would recommend Dr. Meylor to anyone needing a chiropractor.

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for a year and were growing increasing frustrated each month. We had heard a couple stories of friends of friends in our same situation that used acupuncture as a form of treatment for infertility. I had never been to a chiropractor or acupuncturist in my life and was hesitant to try it, but I had the reached the point of willingness to try anything (especially natural treatments). I was simultaneously seeing Dr. Meylor and a fertility specialist for approximately 2 months when we underwent our first fertility treatment, artificial insemination, and it worked!! The chances of success each time with AI are only around 10-15% so we were thrilled. I have to believe that the first time success was due to a combination of the eastern and western medicinal methods we were using. I would definitely encourage anyone having difficulties conceiving to give acupuncture a try. It is quick, painless and relatively inexpensive compared to traditional fertility treatments. The only downside is that frequent appointments are required. I was going 3x a week for a couple of months. The good thing is I was in and out of Dr. Meylors office in approx. 10 minutes. I will definitely be proactive with acupuncture treatments when we are ready to try for our second!

I love this team. When I was initially referred it was because of an auto accident. I have never had an issue with back pain of any kind so I was kind of reluctant not knowing a whole lot about chiropractic medicine, however after seeing him for the time frame that I needed to not only did he help with healing the issues with my back I also no longer have or havent had hip pain that I had prior to the auto accident that injured my back so I would have to say again I love this team! Doctor Meylor was awesome his team was very refreshing, the customer service is just awesome. Because Im a customer service freak that really matters to me as well so I would have to say I am totally impressed and thankful for the time an care they provided.

I honestly will say I was doubting that the chiropractor will help me, but after coming with pain in my thigh and my knee, Im a long distant runner, and proceed to get the sessions that Meylor recommended, the pain was gone, my energy came back, I was back running without any pain. I totally recommend seeing the chiropractor, it really works and help! thank you from the bottom of my heart. the staff is amazing and very friendly and Meylor is really interested to help you to be back to your normal self. Beside the therapy he offers information and answer all the questions you may have about your condition. if you need to see a chiropractor I will say go and give him a try, you wont be disappointed.

Dr. Meylor, Courtney and Claire are amazing people and true professionals. I always feel like Im taken care of and that Im being listened to. Ever since I started going to Meylor Chiropractic a little over 6 months ago, Ive noticed significant change in my pain levels and overall comfortability. They go out of their way to take care of their patients. Highly highly recommend.

Some of the nicest, sweetest people Ive ever met. After moving to the area I was skeptical about finding a new chiropractor. Dr. Meylor was the first place I came across when I got a spasm at work and couldnt move, when I called all they said was get here as soon as you can (no appointment mind you). They got me right in! Dr. Meylor and his amazing staff truly care about their patients and getting them back into health and helping them stay that way. Cant thank them enough!

I couldn’t thank Dr. Meylor enough for helping me with my health problem. Just only a few visits and I have seen huge improvement with my symptoms. It didn’t take long before it’s completely gone. I highly recommend him especially to those who failed other traditional treatment. He takes his time to listen and answer all my questions. And of course, I won’t forget to mention Courtney and Claire who are very warm & friendly. They are the beautiful faces that greet you as soon as you open the door.

My son highly recommended Dr. Meylor for my back and neck problems. Since my first appointment on March 5, both of these issues have found great relief. I value Dr. Meylors expertise as well as the concern and kindness both he and his office staff has shown to me.

The two wonderful ladies behind the counter assist you with all the stretching equipment and exercises. Dr. Meylor is always smiling and extremely professional. Im sure I ask him stupid/annoying questions and he takes time to answer everything thoroughly. My issues are not as bad as some but so far Im feeling improvement in my posture.Scheduling is flexible and they usually can get you in quickly!

Dr. Meylor has helped me so much with my upper back stiffness and headaches. Im a full time student and mommy so Im either constantly studying or constantly holding my little guy which puts a lot of stress in my neck and upper back. I always feel better after leaving the office! Dr. Meylor also adjusts our little one who is 2 years old. He is constantly falling down and running into things like a typical toddler and so adjustments have helped keep him healthy and happy! He sleeps so well after getting adjusted, too! Visits to the office are quick and the girls at the front desk are so nice and helpful. You can tell that Dr. Meylor really cares about his patients and loves helping them feel better. We are so appreciative of him and his office!

After getting into a car accident this last summer, I was in a lot of pain. I decided to do something I had never done before and started seeing Dr Meylor. I had never been to a chiropractor before or had acupuncture, so I was extremely skeptical. And if you are scared of needles (i hate needles) they will help you be brave. The chiropractic approach helped me more than any pain meds could. Thank you Dr. Meylor. His side kicks Courtney and Claire are fabulous as well and remember everyones names. (i dont know how they do it)

I first started going to Dr. Meylor in the Fall of 2015. We met playing in a Top Golf league and we naturally talked about our professions. I told Dr. Meylor I had skeletal displaysia as well as bone degeneration (all genetic). Due to these things, I have a lot of back pain. I played golf in college and in the hotel room after a round I basically couldnt move once I had been laying down or sitting after about 15-20 minutes. Even though I do not play as much golf as I would like anymore, I still get back pain often. A few weeks after we first met, Dr. Meylor told me they were doing a $10 first visit with x-rays. I went in and I was very much impressed with his knowledge and his ability to diagnose a problem and have a plan in place to mitigate the issue as best as he can. My back feels so much better than it used to. After playing golf or playing basketball, I am not in near as much pain as I used to be. I know people at times do not trust chiropractors, but Dr. Meylor is not one of those. He is very smart, professional, and easy to trust. I highly recommend him.

I love Meylor Chiropractic! I especially love seeing Claire and Courtney in the office, they are both so cheerful and kind, and are so invested in the patients. They feel like family! :)
