I finally found the best hygienist around! Shay call took the best care of my pearly whites!! She is so worth the drive to Utah County! My whole family will be switching to Shay and Traverse dental!

My family and I have been going to Traverse Mountain Family Dental for 5+ years and we have only had positive experiences. The staff is friendly and helpful and goes the second mile to keep me informed regarding my treatment plan. I have had more that one emergency visit, and the doctors were awesome to fit me in to their busy schedules and see me in a timely manner. And my hygienist is wonderful...very sensitive to my particular mouth issues.

Most of the time, I love this dentist and office staff. They are great with all my kids (3-11) and Dr. Corbin Matthews has done great work on me with fillings and root canals and crowns. His schedule is pretty limited though and some times there is a bit longer of a wait than I would like even while at the office, but after having bad experiences with dentists prior, I’m sticking with Dr. Matthews based on the work he has done for me and how good well he interacts with my family.

Im a new patient, and Ive only been once for myself, and another time for my son. We both had Dr. Stapley. He was extremely kind, and gentle with my son who has autism. He was verbal, and detailed with his procedure so we were never wondering what he was doing. Honestly, i am excited to work with him, and his staff. The dental assistants are so caring, and fun to talk to. They work hard and it shows.Also. Can we talk about price?!?! Holy cow! Theyre affordable!Kind, understanding, non-judgmental, gentle, and goes through step by step process of their work!?! I am new to Lehi and I had to choose a place to go and get my cavity checked. This place was awesome, the staffs were very accommodating, the doctors were funny and efficient. Quick service and job well done. Although, this is very busy dentist place, I got my 2nd appointment after a month.

I had the best experience here! I’m new to the area, and decided to give this place a try based off their great reviews. After having a crown done there today, I’m adding my own 5 star review. The dentists, dental hygienists, and front desk staff are SO NICE! They all treated me so well and not like I was just another patient they were trying to get in and out the door. They were accommodating with my childcare needs and really went above and beyond to make things work for me.I appreciate them making me feel comfortable during my procedure and walking me through what was happening. They did a great job and I’ve already recommended them to my family members!

I went in for two crowns and had a terrible experience. I sat for 6 hours during the business day, continually getting painful shots while their crown machine kept malfunctioning. This event was so bad, I will not be going back.

I was there this week and I left Disappointed by the fact that at the beginning of my appointment the dental assistant talked to me about an out of pocket fee BUT at the end the receptionist informed me that she will charge much more than I agreed an hour before. Which make them unreliable.

I used to go to Young family dental. Their customer service was great but they use old technology. However, TM dental provided great cs as Young, but their technology is way better than Young. TM dental found an issue that Young couldn’t find. Young quoted me 600 to do filling, but TM dental said my teeth are great no need to do. Idk 🤷‍♀️ which doctor is the most accurate. Will see when I need have teeth pain lol

Absolutely love this office and the staff! I have had the opportunity to visit twice this month (for my familys cleaning day and again today to have some drill and fills done). I called Traverse Mountain Family Dental last week to schedule an appointment (being new to the area, I didnt know which dentists are good). I saw the reviews online and decided to give it a shot! I am so glad that I did! I was impressed with their ability to get me an appointment quickly (within 4 business days of when I called). When I arrived for my appointment, they were quick to bring me back and start my cleaning. Their staff was very upbeat, courteous, and friendly.After my cleaning, I had to wait a little while for the dentist to come in to examine my teeth. It seemed like every 5 minutes the assistant would come back with updates on why the dentist hadnt come yet. I, for one, appreciate this kind of approach as opposed to just sitting there waiting for a while, not knowing how long I would be waiting. Plus, he really didnt take too long (maybe 10 - 15 min). So, I was able to return to work within an hour of my appointment time (and that includes time to take x-rays of my teeth). When the dentist came to talk with me, we discussed a few items that I had questions about. The dentist was professional and took the time to answer each question that I had.It was a nice little bonus to find out that if you dont have any cavities, they give you a coupon for a free meal from J.Dawgs. I have never heard of it, but apparently its a really good hotdog place. I guess Ill have to check it out now!Overall, great experience! I will definitely be back!

Being a new patient the experience was amazing! Front office was super helpful, I felt like the exam and the level of diagnosing what I needed done was clear and backed up with technology. Dr Matthews and dr Stapley are the nicest guys. I forgot to mention the office is amazing and fresh. Go here! Even during my root canal they whitened my teeth! What ever you need they will take care of you.

I’ve been going here for a few years. With sensitive teeth having compassionate understanding dentists and hygienists is so important to me. These guys go above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable and answer all my questions and concerns. Sierra has been the sweetest hygienist and Dr. Stapely is always the coolest and best at addressing all my needs!

The dentist was kind. The assistants could use some professional behavior training. One of the assistants was right outside my room and in full voice said Did you notice that we got all of our WORST patients today? How do all the worst patients manage to schedule on the same day? The other assistant agreed. It was hurtful. I felt like a burden to them and will probably find another dentist office.Update: The office manager called me and said she found out what happened, spoke to the visiting (not Traverse Dental) assistants, and will make sure it never happens again.

I recently moved into the area and chipped a tooth. Even though I have never been seen here before, they fit me in the same day. The doctor had plans in the evening and stayed to work on my tooth and did an excellent job. In addition, I had a chipped tooth from when I was a child that no dentist has talked to me about, even though I have been to the dentist twice a year every year for the past 15 years. He offered to fix that one up too and did a perfect job. I left the office with a better smile in addition to getting my first tooth taken care of right away. So pleased with my experience here and glad I chose this dentist to go to!

I am so surprised at the number of high reviews. I wish my experiences wouldve been like these pleasant reviews but Im sad to say it was not. I went to this office four times and had three really rough experiences.Staff feels like because you have headphones they can speak very freely about patients by first and last name, equipment malfunctions and unsure if they did something correctly. In one instance someone wasnt sure if my crown was done in the machine where it is created and baked and another staff member said the patient wont know the difference. I turned around and asked if they would please verify it was correct because it was a $500+ service I was paying for. I was met with eye rolls and sighs. I thought maybe this was a one-off experience but unfortunately it happened nearly every time I was there.Staff could greatly benefit from finesse training in how they handle the instruments so they arent constantly hitting your front teeth going in/out of your mouth or going too far down your throat. I also felt that communication was very lacking. I recognize not everyone likes to know what is happening with instruments and tools but when staff including Dr. Stapley get up and leave for an hour without anyone telling you why or whats going on, that is very disheartening.I really appreciate the office manager who was very thoughtful and kind when I told her I didnt want to reschedule for care they couldnt provide because they were running hours behind schedule. She was very professional, took the time to listen and was attentive at providing me my chart and refund for the work they couldnt provide that I had already paid for. I also really appreciate the hygienist I saw for a routine cleaning who was thorough and very knowledgeable. I had another hygienist who gave me some shots prior to dental work and she gave some of the best shots Ive ever had.For me, the cons did not outweigh the few pros and I will be finding another office to go to.

Traverse Mountain Family Dental has some of the nicest workers! Everyone here is so friendly. I have very sensitive teeth and they’ve given me the best recommendations for toothpastes and care for that. They do an amazing job keeping my teeth healthy!

Dr Stapley extracted my wisdom teeth, and it went really well despite my age, and the difficulty of my case.My husband and son see the orthodontist here, and he’s fantastic, along with Bree, the head ortho assistant.Dr Mathews checked my son after a bike accident that caused trauma to his front teeth, and didn’t even charge.Highly recommend everyone here.

My regular dentist told me I would need to wait about a month to get it glued back on. I called TMFD because they are close to where I work and they take my insurance. They gave me 3 different options for a same-day appointment. I took appointment #2 and the experience was great.I went back to TMFD today and the experience was once again Great. Everyone was super friendly and easy to work with. I had two crowns done today so it was a long visit, but the team at TMFD made sure I always knew what was going on behind the scenes. Like every sane person in the world, I hate going to the dentist. I have avoided it for to long and had to finally go. I chose Traverse Mountain Family Dental as it was close, and I was able to get in at 7:00 in the morning. The dreaded day arrived, and I went to my appointment.I was greeted by an extremely happy receptionist, and within a min I was taken to the back. Since it had been a while, I had some X-rays done and then the usual inspecting, cleaning, polishing of my teeth. The dental hygienist who had the unfortunate job of working on my teeth did an exceptional job! I still hated what she was doing, but I was comfortable, and she made the time go by quickly.When she was done, I knew the dentist was going to come and give me all the bad news. His name was Scott and helped explain everything to me. Luckily there was no bad news. They had all my X-rays and pictures on the TV in front of me and he was able to show me and walk through everything with me. If I had any cavities this would have been extremely helpful to be able to see clearly.The service that I had was great! I hate going to the dentist and I don’t want to go again. But when I do go, I’m going to go to Traverse Mountain Family Dental.On a side note. They just finished renovating their office and it looks great and is the nicest dentist office I have ever been too. This whole experience has now made me question if the other dentist I have been to in the past were in fact dentist.

Very friendly staff! They were very cautious about the COVID-19 virus when I came in and it was comforting with all the precautions they took while I came in for an emergency extraction! I dont mind the dentist. Its not something I dread. Even so, Traverse Mountain Family Dental was one of my best experiences going to the dentists office.Everyone was friendly and cheerful. Jessica is the best hygienist. She does not scrape unceasingly at my teeth. She explains why my teeth feel sensitive and gives useful advice. Dr. Matthews was very helpful and explained what his dentist lingo means so that Im not sitting there wondering when Ill need to come in for a filling.
