Alpen Periodontics has been very helpful and personable. They were very good at explaining the procedure and putting me ease. Dr. Francis has a great bedside manner. He is personable and kind with his patients, and he explained things as he went along. The assistant, Emily, was also terrific. She answered all of my questions before and after the procedure. Dr. Francis called me within 24 hours to check on me and answered all of my questions. The information sheet they give you after the procedure is also very helpful. Ive referred to it over and over. But, even then, I know that I can call them if I have any other questions or problems. Thank you, Alpen Periodontics! I would definitely recommend you to anybody looking for great care.

I would highly recommend Alpen Periodontics & Implant Dentistry! What a bunch of professional yet personable people - theyve truly impressed me. The staff is friendly and helpful and Valene, who does my cleanings, is just wonderful. Ive had some bad experiences in the past but shes always painless and a joy to visit.

Made what otherwise would have been a very painful and unpleasant experience VERY comfortable. Procedures of this nature are rarely pleasant, but they made it way better than I expected it to be. They listened to my concerns, constantly made sure I was not in too much pain, and have helped me feel a lot better about the state of my overall dental health. Great office, great people. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing periodontal services.

Really nice facilities, great and ample staff, very efficient, nice chair side manner, paid a lot of attention to my comfort. They also had concern to ensure good follow up. My only suggestion is that the post treatment procedures be explained a little slower or more deliberately as the assistant seemed to be so very helpful but a bit nervous or rushed. I hope I dont need another implant but would gladly go back to Alpen any time and recommend the facility to friends without hesitation. Jeff

I always have a great experience here. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my gum issues that I have. They really know what they are doing and have helped me so much. I also love their dental hygienist. She does such a great job and doesnt kill my gums in the process.

The entire staff is fantastic. They are personable and professional, while being extremely capable. Questions are answered with clarity and eagerness. All the work performed on me was of the highest quality, and my comfort always a chief concern. If you need an implant, you would be hard pressed to find a better team.

Outstanding and when I found out the Dentist is a brother Army Officer it was great. The truth is they are completely transparent in both their costs and how they are going to approach you treatment plan and mine is a complex case. I would highly recommend ALPEN AND THE ENTIRE STAFF.

I had an amazing mountain bike accident while riding in Moab in May, and I managed to fracture the root of my front tooth. Dr Francis is absolutely amazing and with the latest practices and procedures, was able to make it so my implant looks identical to my real tooth. This was very important, as I do a lot of public speaking and I wanted to make sure that I would not only look the same, but that I would be able to speak the same. I cant recommend Alpen periodontics enough. If you are looking into implants, do it the right way and go through Alpen. I promise that you wont regret it! Thank you for the new smile!

1. Found out my “really easy surgery” was only about 50% successful.2. Got poked and pinched in the lips at least a dozen times by sharp tools. My gums were numb but my lips were definitely not!3. Had to yank two stitches out of my gums myself that were left behind from the post-op visit.4. In the final followup visit, my gums got a slight cut from the mirror they shoved in my mouth to take the after photo.Not a great experience for me. I’ll go somewhere else in the future.

Great service and results. Dr Francis has performed 2 surgeries on me and Ive received 15+ cleanings at their office. Ive seen improved bone levels & my gums are a lot healthier now. Their front office staff is good. They have answered lots of questions for me about payments and insurance.

My daughter and I love this office! They were friendly and kind, explained everything that was about to happen (which calmed our nerves), and they didn’t talk to my daughter (13) like she was 5 like a lot of other offices we’ve been to. Highly recommended!

Dr. Francis and staff were very kind. They took the time to listen to me and helped me feel comfortable. I was pretty nervous about my procedure and he told me everything he was doing as he did it. That helped. All is well and I feel so much better. They were great.

Dr. Francis and his staff are the best. I have been seeing him for 10 years and wouldn’t go to anyone else. He is very gentle and explains what he is going to do very thoughly. I have my teeth cleaned twice a year at his office. Those who clean my are also very friendly and explain if there is a problem.

Dr. Francis and his assistant are professional. They explained what would take place and did everything they could to complete my procedure in a timely manner. They gave me a copy of follow up instructions that have been helpful in my recovery.😊

Was disappointed that my implant is having problems but glad to quickly begin today to begin to fix it. Process has taken many months to get it done and looks like more months ahead to fix the current problem. Glad to have gotten in the day after I called. Hope the loose implant can be fixed soon.

Waited about 20 minutes after appointment time, but the Dentist was quick once I got to see him.

Both Dr. Swenson and Dr. Francis are very kind. They have a beautiful office and nice new equipment. I however havent had great success with my gum grafts with them (2011 Dr. Francis, 2018 Dr. Swenson). I had to and will have to have most redone after only a few years. Maybe its me, however the graft I had done with another doctor 25years ago is still beautiful. Most recently, two months ago, I had 3 more grafts done with Dr. Swenson. 2 of the 3 still have recession. The surgery wasnt fun, the recovery was/is long and uncomfortable. I admit Im not very strong when it comes to pain and discomfort, and the thought of having to keep coming in to regraft is upsetting. And, its also expensive. The person in charge of insurance (Anna) is not bashful to complain about our dental insurance which is the highest available to school district employees. They did give me a discount for one of the teeth I had to have redone, that was nice.

Alpen Peridontics is fantastic! I was a little worried about my appointment just because I’m not a fan of dental appointments, but the staff were super nice and Dr. Francis was great!

Dr. Francis and his entire staff are kind, genuine people which goes a long way to ease the stress of implant surgery! His professional experience is excellent! They always answer my questions. In my multiple visits they corrected the implant even at the end of the day staying late, which was so helpful to me. My schedule is tight and the drive is inconvenient, so squeezing in my problem was a great priority. I am still grateful for that day. Also, when Dr. Francis came in to see I was studying cranial bones in the patient’s chair, he took excited interest and showed me my x-rayed bones to notice the styloid process. He is a skilled, experienced surgeon, and exceptionally kind! The friendly staff make a great difference in an otherwise dreary deal.

I traveled from Layton, Utah to Lehi in order to have the best work done on my mouth. The experience was wonderful because of the professional staff and skillful hands of Dr. Francis.
