This is where my recovery started! I have been clean and sober for 4 months now and I owe a lot of gratitude to WDR for that. The staff was so helpful and friendly! The food was the best Ive ever had in a rehab, and the facility was clean and orderly.. Thank you to my counselor and the techs and nurses for the support I needed to get through the program. I cant wait to come back and speak!

This establishment needs to get it together, the counselors care & the tech’s try but allow certain clients to disrespect them & make it unbearable & impossible for other clients to get the help they need, their doesn’t seem to be any consequences for bad behavior, the staff come across as very unprofessional, the photos posted do not show the current state of the property, it’s very run down & unkempt, the kitchen have extreme difficulty keeping enough food in stock to feed the clients, they’re always on the verge of running out of multiple items, the houses are filthy & the linens are not laundered enough, they’re very understaffed & overpopulated, if you’re looking for a place to seek help & truly succeed I do not recommend White Deer Run of Lebanon

This place saved my life! I received wonderful care from the entire staff, gained valuable insight on addiction, and got so much out of the program. The campus is great! It feels homey, there is plenty of grass for outside activities, and there are separate houses for male & female patients.I highly recommend to anyone brave enough to fight their disease and get their life back!

First of all, this place has a staff that truly cares! The counselors are compassionate and well-versed on the disease of addiction, the nursing staff is knowledgeable and caring, and the techs are kind and supportive. Its obvious that everyone who works there is very passionate about and dedicated to the work that they do. The program is very structured - it keeps you busy and engaged. There was enough downtime to not feel overwhelmed by groups but not so much that youre bored and/or in your head.

New Perspectives has a beautiful campus, excellent programming, and a dedicated staff. It is also under new management as of July 2019.It is a co-ed facility, but the males and females have separate schedules. Clinically, large groups, small groups, one-on-one sessions, and family sessions are offered. For rec time, volley ball, corn hole, walks in the woods, as well as going to an off-site gym are a part of the daily schedule.New Perspectives is a residential facility, and the services offered are medically-monitored detox, rehab, and co-occuring rehab. Its one of the smallest facilities in the White Deer Run family with only 40 beds.Almost every single funding source is accepted - everything from no insurance whatsoever to medical assistance to commercial coverage.

I just recently was discharged from this place and i can say because of the techs that worked there and the nurses is why i stayed in this facility. There is so much inconsistency at this facility and they are low staff. The nurses pull 12 hours shift and are not fed by the facility, they have to order out but cant because they are constantly busy with admissions, MATs, Detox Patients and also Med passes. They are the ones who put in the real work. There were 3 techs that went above and beyond for the clients and ran awesome groups but some techs would not run group and just sit around with the clients and talk about other clients. There were more smoke breaks then groups ran. A lot of female drama and alot of tattle telling. The groups that were on the schedule were not the groups that was actually done. There was alot of lectures. Also the maintenance man would cook on the weekends and serve raw chicken.. techs would yell at clients and act so unprofessional. Overall my stay was ok because of my counselor and some techs and also the nurses but some of the staff needs to do better.

This was the most nasty environment I have ever stayed in. Also the maintenance guy made most of the food. It was nothing like advertised and strongly recommend if you need help to go somewhere else!

While I was there, there were drugs being sold and used, they ran out of food CONSTANTLY, or gave us rice and beans CONSTANTLY, and for a while they were giving us half portions for dinner. The place is complete chaos. They call it the ghetto rehab for a reason. the mattresses have springs sticking out, there is mildew and mold in the farmhouse. When visitors came it was embarrassing. They would take stuff they called contraband and we never saw it again. The counselors have no idea what they are doing and the techs cant control the people who arent there because they want to be. The whole place is a joke. One counselor runs her groups in the dark. After I left this dump I went to Gaudenzia, a real rehab. No chaos. I was able to think clearly and get clean without fearing the other residents.Just dont go to this rehab and dont send your family or friends there.

Truthfully rehabs are not the most enjoyable place to be. A lot of rules have been implemented because of clients who refuse to change their ways to the positive. If you are truly sick of where your life is at and are willing to persevere and put in the work to change your present situation the miniscule and discrepancies that are present at this facility should push you and teach you how to overcome minor as well as major obstacles in your life. The curriculum is pretty basic but I says addicts overcomplicate stuff and it is a good reminder to keep it simple. It was long days, and kind of antagonizing. It did get my mind right and set me back on the path of true recovery not abstinence. You get out what you put in. Nursing staff was a joy to be around! Rehab show True care and concern and made the best of the many groups. And I can only speak for my counselor, she was very helpful. Only downside water treatment plant next door made it hard to breathe.

I only give it a 1 star because I cant give it less on here. I would give it a minus 5 star if I could. Its filthy dirty and ran like a frat house full of young people who are there for help and not getting it! Chaotic and I dont see how anyone can get helped here. Its all about money! Not helping you or your grown addicted child! I wouldnt send my dog to this place! Mr Arnett is a racist ignorant thief!! This place should be shut down! No wonder people dont get off and stay off of drugs. Its a lucrative business and if people stop using drugs and alcohol these morons would lose their jobs! Which they should lose their jobs anyway! All they do is make sure you need to come back and they steal your posessions! They claim things they want have to be locked up so they can be lost! I have reported this place and hope its shut down! Its horrible!! I dont recommend it for anyone!

It was good, although I dont understand why an ash tray is there when smoking is prohibited? I was asked to leave that my wife and I were loitering when all we were was smoking before our session, but all in all they are very friendly

One of my family members came to this facility for detox. I had looked up the site prior to his admission, and saw a few comments regarding the stealing of belongings, and questioned what this was all about. When our family member checked in, he was there for detox, which meant he was dope sick and looking to some meds soon. While he was going through the admission process, a staff member went through his belongings, and DID NOT give him a list of the items they took. Incidentally he had done an assessment the day before admission, and was NOT given a list of dos or donts for rehab, which would have been appropriate. Because of this, he had items that were deemed unacceptable, including a cell phone, a book series and an electric beard trimmer. NO list given to him, and when he discharged they didnt give him the belongings they took. He had to beg for his cell only because he had to call for a ride. We have made calls to the facility with no return calls ever! I finally got a hold of the manager, explained the situation and never heard back from her. I then called her back and she abruptly said she was instructed not to speak about the situation with me! I filed a complaint with the corporate compliance dept, and have not heard anything from them either. I will now look at filing a complaint with the police dept. and any other agency I can make a complaint to. Fortunately our family member has support from family, but many people going to rehab are without support and even homeless. I think it is terrible that people that are supposed to HELP those struggling with addictions, actually take advantage of the situation and steal from them.

Staff is not a very helpful to patients and they do not give you back all of your possessions. I had to call and tell them I was going to call the police to get my phone and wallet back, they lost my ID and insurance cards. I would not recommend this facility to an enemy
