Our dog had his “trial run” doggy daycare date for his upcoming boarding visit. Drop off was easy. There are cameras that you can watch your dog having fun on all day:) good to know what he was up to! When i picked him up he was clean- they gave him a bath as they said he was a bit dirty. Feeling great about his boarding experience.

My dog has been going to this location for years. He loves going to Dog Pawz Daycare. On occasion he has stayed over one night through the years. Recently, I sold my house quickly and decided to board him at the Leawood location instead of a hotel. Its going on 10 day, now. I recently had another delay which extended our departure another 14 days. All the staff and manager Erin have worked with me everyday to ensure that my dog is adapting to the changes. Making sure he is comfortable, controlling his anxiety, adjusting his food, disciplining, and his environment, if needed. It can’t express enough the appreciation I have for everyone. To know I can leave him, which has been very difficult and upsetting for both of us, knowing he being cared for with so much loved and cared for during our time apart. I would highly recommend Dog Pawz for daycare or boarding! Thank you, with love!!!

I gave them a call and we scheduled a daycare date for our Golden Retriever pup. The place is so clean and bright. The staff was so nice. We love the webcam too! Your first day 8s complimentary with a gift bag. Definitely recommend!

I had a very shy/skittish shelter dog, so I was nervous about leaving him at a day care. But the lady at the front desk was warm and friendly and he took to her immediately. When I called the day before she was super responsive and helpful. And the facilities were clean and nice. When I went to pick him up, he seemed quite happy!! Would recommend this place for sure!

My dog loves Dog Pawz! He has so much fun playing with the other dogs. I love the fact that they are cage free, so when I’m out of town and I board my dog with Dog Pawz I know that he is able to play with other dogs and is having a great time instead of being locked in a kennel. The staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Crickett and I absolutely LOVE Dog Pawz and their dedicated small dog area!! As we’ve continued to visit this wonderful daycare we’ve noticed how they avoid the overcrowding that was so disturbing at a previous place. It’s obvious that safety is #1. Seriously relieved to have found this place!

Once again Kaitlyn took wonderful care of my little girl Precious. She always comes out to take her and make her feel comfortable and cared for which is unusual among groomers. She does a great job and takes care of anything she notices. I feel so lucky to have Kaitlyn as my little girls groomer.

First time at Dog Pawz. Staff was friendly and courteous. Facility was clean. I watched sporadically on live camera as my dog mingled with other dogs in a non crowded play area. Staff kept the area clean. It was a good experience, and we will be back.

We just took our dogs there for a trial day so they can become familiar with the facility before we have to board them. They provided a dog cam link and instructions for us that were very easy to follow. Our dogs were a bit timid at first but by the end of the few hours were running about with the other dogs. I loved that I could make sure my dogs were doing well and were with similar sized dogs. When we picked the dogs up, they gave a goodie bag full of treats and other good information about Dog Pawz.

Respond to online request for services is quick. Staff professional. My dog seems happy when I drop her off so I’m sure it’s good for her. The only thing I would request is more staff interaction with dogs (ball throwing, toy, sitting with dogs for a bit, socializing with dogs). Overall I’m pleased.

Great / clean environment for animals to stay & play!

With COVID it had been over 2 years since our 10yr old dog had been to daycare or boarding. The Dog Pawz team was so helpful in facilitating a new assessment visit as we prepare to go on our first overnight trip in October. They took the time to listen to all of our questions and concerns and were very intentional and considerate in introducing our Zoey to the environment to help determine the best plan for her boarding. We are so relieved to know shell be in the care of a team who truly cares about her safety and well being so that she can be successful.

Dog Pawz is our go to for boarding our dog! She’s excited to go and happy when we come pick her up. The location is great for us too. I love that we’ve found a great place close to home for our pup when we can’t be with her!

My puppy had her first experience with a stay n play and I was able to watch her on camera most of the time I was gone. I could see employees interacting with the dogs and keeping their space clean throughout the day and even after close. My puppy came home freshly washed and worn out, but happy and well cared for.

This was first grooming four our new puppy! Besides looking great, he’s so happy! Thanks for taking time to listen to my concerns.

DOG PAWZ / Leawood staff are always caring & attentive to our dog. She has been going to daycare on occasion since she was a puppy.It makes it nice when weve needed to board her overnight because she feels so at home! at Dog Pawz!!!

We have been boarding our dogs here for a few years now and I recommend this place. The cageless boarding is a great idea for dogs to not be cooped up in tiny spaces but rather be free to roam and interact with other dogs. We havent had any issues except for billing. This is one thing that needs to be looked at and improved. The last couple of times, I was told one cost and upon checking out, the total charges were higher. Every staff member doesnt know all the pricing so its difficult to convince the checkout person what we are told at the time of booking. It wasnt worth the time arguing to fix it so I didnt insist earlier. It was no different this time - the bill was again more than what it should have been. This time I made sure I paid what it should have been. Other than that, I have no issues but getting asked more money is not very professional from Dog Pawz.To the owner: thank you for your response. Our large dog loves visiting dog pawz. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They didnt seem annoyed when we had a special request for our pups care. This place is easily the best option in the KC area.

I just dropped off my 5 month puppy for a trial to make sure she was comfortable in an environment with other dogs. She did great and the staff was friendly and informative. They even sent her home with a goodie bag filled with a toy and treats. Puppy and human both had a great first experience and will return for another visit.

He seemed to be peaceful and clean when I picked him up . I was told he got along well . No problems . I feel relaxed about their care and attention . I will use them when I can , a very good operation .

We love taking Chip here!! They take such good care of him and are so accommodating! They even gave him a cake and cupcake on his first birthday when we were out of town! Highly recommend!

Dog PAWZ responded to my request quickly and took in my dog to board over the holiday weekend in a crunch! They had openings right away and the staff was super friendly. My dog also got a cute goody bag after her behavior assessment day - and she loved her new toy and treats! I will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Our dog Norrie loves Dog Pawz! We love to watch her on the webcams while we are on vacation and we can rest easy knowing she is playing with all of her new doggy friends instead of locked up in a cage all day. She is sooo tired from playing all day when she gets home but she is always excited to go back. We highly recommend Dog Pawz so your dog can be happy and playing while you are away!

I can’t walk my dog west bound on Somerset Dr without him thinking he’s going to Dog Pawz. He starts sprinting in that direction and I risk major shoulder injury.It’s seriously my dog’s favorite place. He gets to play all day, the staff is very loving to your animals, and the webcams are a very fun addition.

My husband and I were looking for a place we could leave our dog when we go on our week long vacation. We read the reviews and we were excited to try it out. Last week we took our dog to the first visit/temperament check and everyone was welcoming and kind. Then when I picked our dog up she smelt terrible. She was covered in what we believe was other dogs urine as she has never sat or laid in her own. Her belly, legs, paws and tail were covered. We had to come home and wash her before letting her in her own home. We will NOT take our dog back there as we don’t want to find out what happens when we leave her there for longer than a couple hours.

My dogs love going to Dog Pawz. You will never stress about going on vacation and worrying about how well taken your dogs are or if they are having fun. My dogs get excited to go there and start barking when within a block of arrival. That is the best sign they are very well taken care of! Day care is also wonderful and my dogs come home happy and worn out.

We’ve taken our pups to a few places around KC but dog pawz in Leawood is truly our favorite. We trust the staff and appreciate that they keep the dogs safe first and foremost while also making sure they’re happy and fed. Our pups walk in excited and come out the same way + exhausted from play.

The Dog Pawz staff truly care for the dogs that are at their facility. I could tell after taking my pup there after the first day! It was very clear that they make sure that all of the dogs receive the individual attention to meet their needs. They were incredibly patient with all of the questions I had and very kind throughout the entire experience. I feel comfortable and happy to take my pup back several times in the near future!

We searched for awhile for a good groomer for our little Yorkton andhad two unhappy experiences before we found Dog Pawz in Leawood.We dont need to search any further. They were wonderful to deal with and we are so pleased with the grooming job.

We love taking our puppy to Dog Pawz Leawood. They help to keep Gertie entertained and she comes home tired and happy! We dont have to worry when we travel and feel great with her there!

They were extremely kind and took great care of my nephew, Mac. Mac got to play and wrestle with other dogs and had a great time. They gave him treats and a toy. I will definitely take him back there next time I watch him.

Dog Pawz of Leawood is fantastic! Called for a last minute dog bath for BOTH my yellow labs & they said, “Sure, how about you bring them in an hour?” - how awesome! We are huge fans of Dog Pawz in Leawood. They are our go-to for boarding and doggie daycare. We love the staff, the environment, and we can enjoy our time away from our pup better knowing that hes well cared for and having a blast with his doggie friends.

Dog Pawz Leawood is not crowded but there have always been dogs to play with. My dog doesn’t stink after being here like other experiences I’ve had. The staff is nice. The parking lot is a little awkward but it works.We have one small dog. She has mild separation anxiety and is moderately high energy so we use day care on those unusual days where we won’t have time to give her a decent walk or two and will be too tired to deal with pent up energy. She isn’t fearful when we pick her up so that tells me the staff is kind and she enjoys playing while she’s there.We have boarded her once and she did fine. We would board her again. Thank you Dog Pawz for offering good, reliable services.

We have a rescue dog that has anxiety and is scared of big dogs. Dog pawz did a wonderful job while we had to leave town. We opted for the pet suite and they kept her with smaller dogs. They sent me updates and there webcams helped me and my kids stay connected. We will definitely come back !! Great place and great staff !!

I have always been so impressed with the staff at Dog Paws willing to go above and beyond to care for the dogs. This past boarding our dog ended up needing medication and special food from the vet in the middle of the stay so the staff called us to let us know the were worried about him and then went to our vet to pick up the meds he needed. It was such a relief to know he was so well cared for while we were gone!

I love the way they love my little Sooki. Thank you for caring for her when I have to be out of town. You guys rock!!!

We have been taking Brody here for the last 2 years and Dog Pawz has been amazing! Amazing staff! Great Communication! Answered all of our many questions without ever making us feel as if we were annoying (worried dog parents! LOL). Helped adjust last minute change of plans and accommodated without any issues what so ever. We will definitely be boarding here EVERY time we leave town and will start doing daycare every once in a while (even though I stay home) for the dog interaction. Lastly, the groomer is AMAZING! Extremely knowledgable and helped us make a grooming decision that we would have never known to make that was in the best interest of the breed we have. I can’t say enough positives things honestly!

I had to go directly to a store to bathe my girl.Just wish they would have dealt with it as I was a bit mad.I’d like to know how they deal with this, I expect they wash the dogs. We had such a good experience with Dog Pawz today. Our big dog Azzy came home so happy, content and well exercised. The staff figured out the best placement of our dog. Even though she is a big dog, she is mild mannered and prefers being around mid/sized dogs. I was just so impressed with the staff and all they have to offer. Our Aussie Shepard mix visited the Leawood Dog Pawz location today. For the first time. She’s a bit timid, so it as a bit of a shock to her usual sheltered lifestyle. Overall it was a good experience & she’s going back on Friday for a sleepover! Glad I found this positive place with caring people, who are focused on social distancing and masks during this time.

My dog, Shadow, is a German Shepherd. He loved this cage free facility, where he had the freedom to play with other dogs the entire time. I felt much more comfortable with leaving Shadow at Dog Pawz for 4 days, knowing he was not locked up in a kennel for most of the day. The staff was awesome!

My 8 mo yr old pup had a great time at doggy daycare! The staff was beyond friendly, and made me and my pup feel so comfortable leaving him there! The dog cams are great too so you can check in. We are new to Kanas our Old English Sheepdog had only been to one groomer that she cooperated with. I was anxious about getting a new groomer. I called several places and decided on Kaitlyn at Dog Paws. She came out to meet the girls. She was patient and kind. They smell like a bouquet of flowers and were in a great mood when I picked them up. I also was glad to hear that if boarding there is someone on site with the pets 24/7.

We come here for Kaitlyn’s grooming. She is the best! She always gets our Shaggy pup perfectly trimmed and cleaned up, and really, really cares about her.

We followed Kaitlyn to Dog Pawz because she is so gentle with my rescue pup, Reese. She did not disappoint, as usual, and Reese looks adorable!

Dog Pawz is an amazing place to take your pups! We have taken our dog Kakashi there for daycare several times and all of the staff have been super friendly, and they know him by name. We were pretty anxious about leaving our dog to board overnight but the staff was reassuring and happily answered any questions/concerns. They were very accommodating for our gentle giant since he’s bigger than most pups. Also love that they have webcams so you can check up on your pup at anytime. A great place in general, especially if you are anxious pet parents like we are. Amazing services to add on if you board as well. Would 100% recommend and will be coming back!

They did a great job grooming my two cockapoos.

The staff was awesome with my little pound puppy who always needs a second to feel secure. She had a great day (I obsessively watch the dog cams) and we can’t wait to bring her back.
