Dr Miles has been my doctor for almost 20 years she listens and takes care of her patients as long as u are honest and dont take advantage of her she is as loyal a doctor as there will ever be my quality of life is better thanks to her and her staff I thank her everyday and her staff who is there when I need them

First impression is the last impression; the impression that I received from this provider she’s arrogant and has an holy than thou attitude. She stated she extended me grace more grace than any other patient. Grace only comes from God and not man; she’s not God.

Very caring and understanding......she listens when other doctors blew me off. I am very blessed to have found Dr Miles.

After years of experience with doing things her way. She writes my meds just to tell the pharmacy to destroy them. Arrogance is the proper word for this Dr. Way too good to treat the needed. I expected her to simply not put me in harms way. She failed me, turned my world upside down. I did it her way for years and never deserved to be thrown away. Shes not to be trusted. I spent 8 years doing everything her way. Then she gives my script to me and I give to the pharmacy. She had the pharmacy destroy the papers that were mine. Now its a year later and I have given up on all Drs and medicine. Shynda miles will have the worst karma of anyone. Simply stay away from this untrustworthy wannabe female dog.

Dr. Miles intentionally placed my brothers health in jeopardy and hopefully this review will prevent another family from experiencing this. We selected Dr. Miles because she is a physiatrist with specialty in brain injury. We moved our family close to Rehab Hospital of Overland Park so that my brother could obtain therapy services and be followed by Dr.Miles. About six months ago we were told to find another primary care physician for my brother. She, nor her office, ever provided recommendations despite our asking multiple times. My family has called around Kansas City tirelessly in search of a pcp who accepts work comp or whom accepts pay out of pocket. We have attended all of the brain injury support groups searching for another doctor. It is very difficult to find a doctor willing to and comfortable seeing a nonverbal patient. About 2 weeks ago we located one (thanks to our neurologist) with Menorah in overland park however cannot get in sooner than 2 months (which is common for a new patient appointment). A few days ago we received a call from our pharmacist stating that Dr. Miles is refusing to refill my brothers prescriptions. We inquired and were informed we should have already been seeing another pcp. Keep in mind that my brother is medically stable and his medications do not fluctuate. He is post TBI and stroke, is nonverbal, and requires 24/7 assistance. Ironically while my mother is receiving this information my brother having a seizure. My mother explained to Dr. Miles office we have located a new pcp, however Shynda Miles is still unwilling to refill my brothers medications to get him by until his first appointment with the new provider. NEVER would I have thought we would be treated this way. We have been seeing her for almost two years! We trusted her and the staff. We have never missed appointments and have always been diligent regarding my brothers rehabilitation. Again, no recommendations from them and tireless efforts on our end to locate another pcp. Who cuts off a completely dependent adult who is trying to get help? PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS GROUP!
