12 years ago he did an arthroscopic procedure on my left hip, fixed original equipment. Still going great! I was in excruciating pain and a different doctor was wanting me to go another year and get a hip replacement. NOT this office!Docs work is excellent!

Excellent doctor and staff who has a very practical approach to treating knee pain. He started with a conservative approach to treating pain in both of my knees which worked without having to undergo expensive MRIs or surgery. I consider him to be the best orthopedic physician in Kansas City.

Dr. Jones has created a well oiled machine. Efficient and fast. I waited 3 minutes before being seen and 1 minute prior to Physician Assistant talking with me. Dr Jones came in and he immediately sent me to x-ray and by the time I returned to room he was reading my x-ray and diagnosis given. Entire experience took 15 minutes and insurance info was given to me shortly afterward. Very professional and caring!

When deciding to see one for my shoulder problem, the first name always comes to Dr. Lowry Jones. He knows without too many tests, what exactly what going on and what to do. His wonderful staff PA Eric and nurse Kristy make a great team.

I had seen Dr. Jones in the past when he surgically repaired my shoulder. I saw him again recently for a new problem. He was able to precisely discover and describe where and what the problem was. He also made time to start treatment during that same appointment as well as to outline the ongoing treatment plan

As of the present time, I am delighted with the treatment from, and surgery by, Dr. Jones. Following left knee arthroscopic surgery, I was weight bearing by the time I got home. Pain meds were never necessary. One week post surgery, I am able to walk 1.5 miles (self limited to avoid overdoing it, and increasing distance gradually) without issues and do not have an altered gait. I am back on the Peleton doing light workouts. Bottom line, outcome better than anticipated at the present time.

Dr Jones fixed my right shoulder 20 years ago and did such a great job that when I needed the left one done it wasn’t even close.His bedside manner is direct but empathetic, and mucho experienced. His staff is the best when it comes to working with insurance companies. All around great experience (except of course for the hassle and ‘ouch’ of the actual surgery).A+

I was taken to the examination room well before my appointment time. It was a very short time before they took me to have my x-rays and they were done quickly. They escorted me back to the examination room. There was a very short wait for the doctor. Dr Jones thoroughly went over my condition and we agreed on my treatment which he administered.

My appointment was at the Plaza office. Lets start by complimenting the entire office/nursing staff. They were more than cheerful; dare I say almost joyful. Everyone! Also, efficient and competent. The total package.Dr. Jones impressed me with his cautious approach to my shoulder problem. Before surgery, we will try a couple of other things. I found him very professional and clearly very accomplished in assessing my condition and recommending a plan of treatment.

Dr. Jones knows what he’s doing, doesn’t beat the bush. I’ve had zero complaints since my shoulder surgery. His staff is excellent as well. After surgery they’re by your side to make sure your comfortable.

Wonderful treatment! Everything was explained, all staff were professional and timely. Dr. Jones provided a flash drive with pictures and videos of my procedure, explaining what was being done. Seems strange to say that a surgery was a pleasant experience, but this one actually was!

Dr. Jones, Dr. Carlson, and the entire staff at Dickson- Diveley Orthopaedics did an amazing job on not only fixing my shoulder, but making me feel comfortable and confident about the procedure. On the morning of the surgery I was a bit anxious. I went in with a few tears from fear of the unknown, but those quickly changed to tears of absolute relief and joy! Several years ago, Dr Jones fixed both my shoulder and my husband’s shoulder! He did an outstanding job, and both of us have had long term positive outcomes. The waiting room was busy, maybe 15 people, when I went in the morning and after my appt i walked out to only a couple of people. They are so organized and understanding - i was a new patient stuck in traffic and 25 min past appt...they got me right in.. but i called 45 min before appt to notify them. I had my first visit with Dr. Jones for shoulder pain. I was greeted with a warm handshake and a smile. He listened to my concerns, asked questions and explained the possible reasons for the problem and I received treatment.I am very pleased.I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect.

Dr. Jones seems like a great guy. I have no complaints about him. I have been unsatisfied with his office/staff, though, based on how they handled an MRI issue and subsequent scheduling of an appointment. Since one particularly awkward telephone call on April 25, 2019 (pertaining to the MRI issue), during which Dr. Jones office concluded that I needed to be seen again by Dr. Jones before one or more MRIs could be ordered or approved, I have been waiting for the scheduling call I was promised to promptly receive. The harsh, accusatory tone of the assistant on the phone on the 25th and the lack of follow up thereafter, despite what was promised, has left me disappointed.

Dr. Jones spent a lot of time with me to answer my questions and put me at ease.
