The complete staff was informative and helpful, so concern for my Restoriation of perfect oral health. Would not recommend to anyone under any circumstance. My husband went there out of necessity for extensive dental work. We were paying literally $1,000s each time he walked through the door after what insurance covered. Last visit he asked if he could set up a payment plan at the next visit for the remaining balance of $1800 which she said was fine. So today he went to get the past of the work done and said if he could t pay the balance they would report him immediately to collections. They finally agreed to taking $300 today but we have to pay $300 a month until it’s paid or risk going to collections. They’ve already received several thousands from us and the work so far has been terrible, one has already had to be redone. The person who he originally spoke to about payment arrangements is no longer there, no surprise. Terrible service.

On April 29, 2021, I received one of the best dental assessments at Great Expression Dental in Lawrenceville by Dr. Tran. Dr. Tran was very thorough in explaining the maintenance and intervention care I need. All staff that attended to me were pleasant, helpful and courteous which I appreciated. Exemplary Customer Service!!!

My first visit to Great Expressions Dental Center was encouraging. The entire staff are great, very professional, and friendly. Today I had cleaning done, and the Hygienist, Ms Yardley did an exceptional job cleaning my teeth, and because of my experience and satisfaction, I highly recommend Great Expressions Dental teams. 👍🙏

I should have read some of these reviews before I went to this location. I wish I could give them a 0 and I hate to say that. If you like waiting forever after having an appointment this is the place to go. I waited 2 hours after my appointment and still left without being services because they had the nerve to ask me if I would be willing to come back within the afternoon for the rest of my cleaning. What ? Who does that. Then tried to bill me out of pocket for my cleaning once I got back in the chair even though when I checked in the receptionist told me that my insurance was covering my entire appointment for the day. I will be reporting to my insurance that they did not service me at all and will never return !

Did not like the fact that the dentist was very pushy,saying how bad my teeth was, and I have to spend thousands of dollar on it,I went there for a cleaning and never got the cleaning ,got a second opinion and is not as bad as she said and it took 3 people to get my xray right,not going back.

I went in for preventive treatment which is covered 100% by my insurance and still received a $111.00 bill for the visit, exam and X-rays. I do this every year but after visiting this location, I get a bill. They will NEVER have my business EVER again. I do not recommend this place. Feel free to spread the word.

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. Horrible people just looking to make a profit. They care about their own bottom line and thats it. This office has no care for for their patients best interest. Absolutely horrible treatment. They are taking advantage of patients and healthcare is supposed to be about helping patients. DO NO GO TO THIS DENTIST. If I could give 0 * I would give thumbs down to this dentist company.They will tell you one thing but at the end it will not be what they say and to cover for their mistake they will tell you that it is subject to the insurance.My mother went here for extract her tooth and get her teeth box made. They said the whole process will be 3 months and only will cast $2,000.00 but 8 months later she still dont have what they offer at the first time we went. They say all the visit for adjustment was cover for the total amount but now we have an outstanding bill because they were charging each time the insurance and wanting for us to pay the rest of each visit.Now my mom has no teeth no teeth box but has an outstanding bill.Each time it was a horrible pain visit for my mom.Now with the new staff they just told me that I have to bring my mom for a new visit to be evaluate with the new doctor.So they can charge more???This Great Expression is all about the money not about the patient.

I had a great visit yesterday, but I am so tired of the turnover and seeing new faces all the time. When you get used to someone and comfortable they switch. This time the whole entire staff changed minus one person. I never dealt with this anywhere before but here. I informed my family because my sister and mother come here as well and my mother said shes looking into going somewhere else.Please stop changing the staff!!

They’re very friendly and the Doctor is really good. He’s extremely gentle and I very rarely feel pain.The reason I’m not giving five stars is because it takes entirely too long for a procedure to get done. Too many times they will leave me in the chair for seemingly forever.Also, twice my permanent crowns did not fit and I had to reschedule and go through the entire temp crown process again.

The staff at Great Expressions Dental Center is exceptional; they are caring and provide excellent customer service. What can I say about Dr. Oliver and his staff? Awesome crew!!! It was my first time going to this dentist office, and it being my first time, I am simply amazed!! The staff was super great, easy going and easy to communicate with. My missed called was return first thing the next morning after I called after hours the day before. Dr. Oliver was very professional and very informative on the treatment plan that his staff and himself put together for you to obtain oral health. This will be my new place of dentistry along with my son! I give Dr. Oliver and his staff 10 stars, and I recommend him to any and EVERYBODY whos looking for a great place to obtain oral health in a clean, easy going and professional atmosphere!! I have visited this place twice for service. If you like your teeth, please go else-where. Dont sign any papers while you are on the table. They will bring papers to sign whie distracted. Ask receipt before you leave and reachout to your dental provider. Chances are that the bill submitted to your provider will be far greater than your receipt. Decline the $15 charge per visit for their PPE. check with your insurance. Chances are they shouldnt be charging you. They have F rating with better business bureau. Read every sheet before you sign. If you can, video record sevices given to you. Ask every equipment used is throughly cleaned. Good luck

I had a very good experience during my previous dental visit August 19, 2019 Iris is the dental assistant that assisted Mr. William Oliver, D.D.S. he performed multiple dental procedures to include an extended bridge that covered 5 teeth and a separate procedure that involved 2 crowns. I arrived at my scheduled 11:00 A.M. appointment and was seen promptly. Iris did not leave until 6:00 P.M. She remained with me for the entire visit and did an excellent job preparing the temporary crowns. Iris did not complain or show any negative emotion about having to continue working and she remained in the office after everyone, except for the office manager left for the evening. in addition I would also like to say that the staff that works at the facility are polite and professional. The work area is clean and all equipment is state of the art.

Great Experience! Dr. Chang is very professional and courteous. I really appreciate that he was able to see me on such a short notice. He makes you feel like you are family and truly cares for his patients. The staff were professional and accommodating and they all took an effort to get to know me. The wait time was very minimal. Dr. Chang and his crew are amazing! Theyre sweet and show a lot of passion for what they do. I went in for a cleaning and the ladies who took care of me were very gentle and patient. I also needed a cavity fill in and Dr. Chang made it a very quick and painless process. Ill be back here again in May for my next cleaning appointment and Im actually excited to go back to the dentist office. :)

This team is OUTSTANDING!!!!! I simply came in to make sure my insurance would cover this location and make a future appointment. However, this team went beyond the call of duty and not only helped me with my insurance but got me in to have my teeth cleaned too. This dental hygienist is the GREATEST ever. She ended up having to do a deep cleaning and made sure I was comfortable and took time to explain everything as she proceeded. She also took time to educate me on proper flossing technique and brushing to help prevent further issues. I was introduced to the new Dentist but have not seen him yet. The previous Dentist was awesome and helped me with my anxiety. This is the main reason I wanted to come back here was for him. I have learned he is gone. However, if the Dentist is anything like the Hygienist then I know I will be in good hands. I will post an update after my future dental visit.

Receptionists are great, they even know me by name. However, it’s been TWO days since I went and my guns are STILL bleeding. Found out my coworker also goes to this place and that the hygienist also is way too rough on her. The dentist is great, he’s careful, confident, and takes care not to hurt me. The hygienist does not. I will NOT be getting my teeth cleaned there again. She’s way too rough and this was just for a REGULAR cleaning. The pain was almost unbearable and to this day it’s still hurts to brush my teeth. There’s no way my teeth sand gums are SO sensitive that they’re bleeding in their own, no, you just were so rough. Jeez.

This is the best dental office I have ever been to. They are all so kind and concerned with my comfort level during appointments, remember me by name, and often ask how my family is doing. They aren’t just in it for the money, they actually care, and because of them I honestly don’t mind coming to the dentist anymore. I’ve referred a few people to them and everyone has said the same thing. Great place, great care!

Everyone here is very pleasant. They explain exactly what needs to be done so you understand and are comfortable with each process. I got a great cleaning, and cement removed from previous braces that my last dentist could not get off. I am very pleased with my results.

Everything was great!! The customer service was great, everyone was so polite and friendly! At no point did I feel nervous, I was fairly relaxed because everyone was very professional and organized, I felt safe and in good hands. Afterwards my teeth felt squeaky clean and I had no pain; they were very gentle. Also the appliances and work space was very neat and clean. Overall I am very pleased with my experience and I will most definitely be returning.

I always feel comfortable and at home when I visit my dental office. The staff are super friendly, and very accommodating to your needs. When giving recommendations, the dentist and hygienist make it their business to explain every detail so you can make the best decision. I never feel pressured to get services after recommendations because I believe that they are looking out for my best interest. I’ve been to other offices where I’ve felt it was all about the sale. Not at Great Expressions. They really take care of you.

I went to the location at 555 Old Norcross Road and everyone there was so professional. Michelle, the Manager greeted me and made me feel at home. The office is clean and kept up nicely. I am always nervous about going to a new dentist but everyone here made me feel very comfortable. Lamara, the dental hygienist was excellent! Very gentle! Dr. Chang was very nice and had great bedside manner. The front desk was professional and nice. Everything was great but the most important thing for me were the concerns about what I needed done while I was pregnant. They answered my questions before I even asked them regarding what I need to skip while pregnant. That alone made me feel so comfortable. Thanks everyone!

Dr. Chang is the best dentist I have ever been treated by! Im very scared when it comes to dentists, due in part to some bad experiences. However, Dr. Chang has a special quality that helps put me at ease. I appreciate that he always finds something positive to say. He is warm and really cares about each patient.His staff is also fantastic! Juan and Melany run the front office and always have a smile. Best Office ever! We made our appointment the same day for a root canal and they also accommodated my husband and I and gave us a dental exam for both of us same day as well. Very thorough office and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend!

I had a great experience at this dental office, i got a regular cleaning and X-rays from two different hygienists. Dr. Chang came by to talk to to me about the wisdom teeth i needed out after doing a closer examination, he was very gentle and calm. I liked that. still sucks i have to get my wisdom teeth out.

I was so disappointed when I found out Dr. Chang had left and I realized I wasnt the only one when others in the waiting room were also asking about him. So I took it upon myself to Google him and I actually found his new office (Sage Dental of Suwanee)! The staff here are still very nice but Dr. Chang was a difference maker for me. Hes the first and only dentist who ever took the time to explain things to me with such patience and compassion. For those of you in the waiting room wondering where he went, mystery solved!

They really do take good care of their patients, my dental hygienist wanted to make sure I take care of my teeth correctly so she told me to return in a couple of weeks so she can check on me for free to make sure my teeth are heatlhy--really appreciate that. The staff at my Great Expressions is amazing. I live 45 minutes from this location but wouldnt trust my care with anyone else. The office staff is so friendly and helpful. The Doctor and dental hygienist care about your oral health and make this necessary task very pleasant. Would highly recommend this location and staff!

I absolutely love this office. J (aka Johnathan 😊 lol) is great at what he does. Theyre very patient and inviting. The technician Luisa is my favorite, she goes above and beyond, more than I could ask for. Shes very people oriented and that makes a world of difference in making patients comfortable. 3.5 starsMy appointment was at 11:30, I got there at 11:35. I didnt mind the wait to get called, it was fine. I had come late anyway so I could stand to wait before they called me.Whats not okay and unprofessional is that they had me wait for 30 minutes without me knowing what I was waiting for. I was lying on their chair just counting minutes and no one once told me what the hold up was, what or who exactly I was waiting on and how long the expected wait time was. I almost had half a mind to get up and leave.Once the dentist walked in and I let him know I was tired of waiting and that no one had been with me for the past thirty minutes, the visit got a lot better.They sent Michele to ask if I was okay and when I told her I just hadnt been communicated with at all, it clicked from then onwards.The dental assistant took my X-ray (which honestly could have been done in those thirty minutes), told me I was waiting on the dentist and that I had a short time of wait left because he was assisting his customer in front of me. That I could understand and was okay with. Once they started communicating with me and let me know they were short staffed and apologized, I wasnt as annoyed with the wait time.Theyre great people, not rude at all, funny and easy going. They just need to remember that their customers want to be in the know if theyre waiting for thirty plus minutes with no one checking in on them.My appt was at 11:30 and I didnt leave til 1:56 which is also something they need to work on. I spent two plus hours there and Im sure half of it was wait time.

DO NOT GO HERE!!My review is no way about the administrative staff, even though they would probably keep you waiting for at least 1 hr. My review is about the fact that their scans will probably show you that you have gum disease. Spoiler alert, you probably dont. They are a money cow and will try to swindle you out of your money and time. I hadnt seen a dentist in a while so when i went to go visit and they claimed that i had plaques under my gums that has led to degradation of my teeth (Gum disease), i believed them. However, my husband, who has been to the dentist more frequently that i had was given the same prognosis which didnt make sense because why didnt another dentist catch this earlier? This led him to seek out other reviews of this location which led him to yelp and everyone on yelp had the same diagnoses. THEY HAVE A ONE STAR RATING ON YELP. I say all of this to say, their great reviews on here are probably bought so save some time and money by either getting a second opinion or just stay away in general.

I followed Dr. Chang from his previous office as he is a dentist I trust and also great at what he does. The staff is wonderful and very patient. I only come in for cleanings now (Dr. Chang took care of everything else) and its always been an easy and enjoyable process. Would highly recommend coming to this office.

This dental practice is all about billing your insurance & money. I have NEVER had issues with my dental health until I went to them for a cleaning since my insurance changed. BIG MISTAKE. I was told that although I didnt have any cavities, I needed a deep cleaning because I had stage 2 periodontal disease. I was shocked to hear this since Ive never had any issues with oral health & take good care of my teeth/gums. I requested only a standard cleaning (what I was scheduled for) & was told that they could not do that since I required a deep cleaning. I wanted a second opinion, so I visited my previous provider (dentist of 6 years) and I was told everything looked wonderful. I didnt tell them about the other dental offices diagnosis because I wanted to see what they had to say first. After I was told everything looked great (just need to floss more... as usual), I informed him of what I was told a couple of weeks beforehand from Great Expressions. He laughed & said thats not the first time hes heard that. Said it seems to be the norm. He stated that he would never recommend a deep cleaning for me now since none of my teeth are even a 4 (in measurements; Great Expressions said I had multiple 5s, even...) and there is no periodontal disease. Funny thing is, I received a letter from my insurance when Great Expressions tried to bill/get authorization for the deep cleaning, and my insurance stated that it was not necessary!! I have a letter from them stating that the documentation provided to them did not justify the procedure requested! When I called my insurance, they stated my exam notes & x-rays did not prove periodontal disease. Then the office wanted to schedule the deep cleaning by quadrants since insurance wouldnt pay (it was going to total over $1100 out of pocket). I am SO happy I got a second opinion instead of wasting my money. I would rather spend $180 than over $1100 any day!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I VISIT THIS PRACTICE. PLEASE, please beware.

If I could leave a no star review, I would. I just started coming to this location January 2019, and I loved the staff and Dr. Oliver. 10 months later, I walked into the office for a previously made appointment, and the entire staff had changed with not a word from anyone prior to me coming in. Dr. Oliver also was no longer there, and no one could tell me why. The new staff is unclear about a lot of things and terrible at following-up and calling people back, even after multiple voicemails. Dr. Tran also does not do as good a job, in my opinion, as I am still having pains from fillings two months after the fact, even though Ive already had one adjustment. I will not be going back to this location.

The reception by Michelle was great and made yme feel very welcome. Michelle and Dr. Oliver were both very caring & understanding and I felt they did everything to assist me to ensure I would get the proper procedure done at the best rate.

Since doctor Chang left the quality of service here has dropped tremendously. I got a temporary put in back in November 2016. It worked out great. Due to a family tragedy I was unable to return for my permanent one until August 2017. The temporary was so sturdy that it actually lasted all of those months after being put in by Dr.Chang with no problems. I was sad that once I returned he was no longer there. But, I had the permanent put in anyway by whoever else was on staff. It feels flimsy compared to the temporary I had before. The new dentist also noticed I had an infection forming in my guns from a tooth gone bad. Instead of prescribing preventative meds until I could afford to have the tooth removed, he just stated that I need to come back and have the tooth removed. The front desk then said that procedure will usually have to be surgically done at a different place. Which the dentist never referred me to or told me how to contact. The best part is, they all know Im pregnant. So instead of acting quickly to help my health and save the health of my child, they sent me on my way with invoice estimates and no assistance. Dr. Chang was at least a caring soul that wasnt just about the money as they are now.

This dental office was amazing!!! I had NEVER had a cavity before and Dr. Chan, along with his assistant Misty were amazing! They explained everything before doing it, and even allowed me to listen to music to help me relax; that meant the world to me! The dental hygienist (Im sorry I cant remember her name, but she has pink shoes, and I LOVED them) and her assistant were both great too! If you want a team that will explain everything and allow you to be comfortable, and remain professional throughout, then this is the place. It was very clean and the atmosphere helped me relax. Oh btw, the front desk office staff, they were amazing too! 👍☺

I reaally enjoyed my visit at Great Expressions. The front office staff greeted me upon arrival and I didnt have to wait long before seeing the hygienist. The young lady who took xrays was funny and s delight to talk to. The hygienist was great she explained the procedure and I experienced a supper detailed cleaning. When I finally saw the Dentist he was very informative and engaging as well. The overall visit was wonderful. Looking for a dentist office youll like this place.

Dr. Oliver and the main hygienist (Sallaume..spelling?) clearly knew their professions and were very courteous. However it took a long time (over 2 hours) to do the initial assessment and all I wanted going in was a cleaning (which I did not get). I will likely go find another dentist just to get my teeth cleaned within the limits of my insurance.

Selam is amazing and so sweet. She goes above and beyond to make sure my teeth and gums are well taken care of. Ive never felt rushed by her. She always does an incredible job.

Staff had exceptional customer service! The doctor was very informative, helpful, and gentle. It was a personal experience that I will use to take better care of my oral health going forward. I am so happy that I chose this dentist office and that it was so close to home.

These guys will force sell you services and procedures you dont really need. Then once the bill gets high they will sign you up for credit with interest of 27% and first 18 months 0% interest is their bait to you. However, they will start charging interest after 12 months and this scam is exactly what happened to me. Once I confronted them, they claim conveniently they cannot locate my paper work where terms were set. I was being setup to pay $500 more than my original bill. This practice cares less about your health and more about taking much of your money as possible. I setup claim with them, I got no call backs or any updates from them. Dont sign any credit paperwork with them, its a scam.

I have been looking for a new dentist near my house since my old one retired and I came across Great expressions in Lawrenceville.The staff was extremely pleasant. I was greeted by Michelle, the office manager who was very delightful and welcoming. I was taken right back after some simple paperwork. Brittney went over the process with me and did my X-rays and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Immediately after my x-rays, I had a consult with Dr. Oliver. He was very clear on what I needed, and the best way to do it without pressuring me – he was just great.The dental hygienist, Selam G did an extremely thorough job of cleaning my teeth and she is simply phenomenal. She was so patient, professional, kind and explained everything in detail.I recommend Dr. Oliver and his wonderful team to anyone who desires a professional, friendly and excellent dental care.

I wish that we read the reviews about Great Expressions Dental centers before my wife went there. There was only one technician on the day of my wifes appointment. He rushed to provide services to all customers on that day and did very poor job. He was not careful and cracked my wifes tooth during the cleaning. Both my wife and I called the manager several times but she would not return our call. My wife went back to ask to speak to the manager but they refuse to talk to her. It clearly indicates that they refuse to do the necessary repairs from their negligent. My wife is unable to eat for couple weeks. Great Expressions is very unprofessional. Perhaps they will talk to our lawyer instead.

Every time I come to this place I’m treated in a nice way, everyone in this location is respectful and helpful! I come in and out which is perfect. No long waiting.!! Friendliest staff on a great expressions Dental Center, especially those two up there.

Dr Chang and his staff are superb!!! I had to get a lot of dental work done due to an injury I received. Dr. Chang made me feel totally at ease. The staff from the front office to the dental assistants are top notch! Thank you one and all!

This was the first time that I had visited a dentist in years and I really enjoyed my experience here. Dr.Chang gave me specific cleaning tips for the way my mouth was shaped and the location of my teeth, something that previous dentist had never done for me before. The whole staff there was so sweet and attentive. I cant wait to return to this location

After a traumatic experience at another dental group called Asp.... the services provided by Dr. Oliver was heaven sent. Being a healthcare professional myself I can vouch for the awesome dental practice provided by this dentist. My experience here was pretty great! I had to get a couple of baby teeth pulled, and the dentist was very diligent with his work and got two of my baby teeth out with no problems and no pain. Everyone at the office was really nice and Ill definitely be going back soon.

This is the best dental experience that I have ever had. The entire staff is friendly and pleasant, and the dentist is great. I had to tell him thank you for the shot. No pain at all. I even hung out for a little while after my family was done because everyone was just so nice. We just moved to Georgia so we are putting everything together. This was definitely a welcome addition to our healthcare team.

After randomly chipping a tooth, I called the office, and they were able to quickly accommodate me in to their schedule. Dr.Chang and his team made me feel comfortable and the entire process was a breeze. I was able to get a crown, and the horror of a possible root canal was no longer in sight.

I dont tend to look forward to dentist visits. I suppose Im in the majority who thinks that way. I do however think keeping my teeth healthy is extremely important. Thats why Im so glad that this great expressions office is where I go. They always treat me extremely well and I never leave unsatisfied with their service.

Office is extremely clean. Very short Waiting time.. Michelle, at the front desk, was very professional and welcoming. She knows all her customers name and no need to introduce yourself to check. I really liked Salam, the hygienist, she was thorough when explaining my treatment and my wifes. She did an amazing job. The Dr. was professional, gentle, and All the staff worked very well together to ensure the entire process ran smoothly. I definitely will be back and recommend the office to anybody who looking for anice and welcome easy dental day.

I have always been terrified of going to the dentist but after visiting Great Expressions on Old Norcross Rd, I no longer feel that fear. Everyone there is very friendly and comforting. Juan Jose and Melany are great and very helpful in the front office. Dr. Chang is very nice and explains everything so you completely understand. Lamara, the hygienist cleaned my teeth today and she rocks! My teeth feel amazing and it didnt hurt! I will definitely recommend Dr. Chang and his team to my family and friends!

Its been a while since I have been to the dentist and I was a little nervous about going. My visit at Great Expressions on Old Norcss exceeded my expectations by far! Everyone in the office are kind and welcoming. They definitely eased my nerves and I will continue going to this office for all my dental needs.

My whole family had been going to this practice for 7 years when it was formerly known as Nanston Dental, and it had a wonderful staff of dentists and hygienists. Things always ran smoothly in the office. However, when it was bought out by Great Expressions, things changed dramatically. Our favorite dentist all of a sudden retired too, which spoke volumes. The wait time in the office was at least an hour long. That told me they were overbooking. Our entire family was done with them when myself and my four year old child were charged with x-rays that were not covered by our insurance, and the reason they were not covered was because they were x rays that neither of us needed for a routine cleaning and checkup. Our insurance coverage had not changed at all. I paid it and did get my money back, but I had to call and sit on their corporate office for 2 months to be refunded. Definitely unscrupulous business happenings here, and it is so sad, because we were so happy and loved the staff, but they were obviously being made to adhere to the new policies.
